Bear Number Match
With this fun activity, children will be working on their number recognition and counting skills for all numbers from 1 through 20. There are six different ways that each number appears:
- Number
- Word Number
- Ten Frame
- Dice
- Tally Marks
- Fingers on hands
Preparing this Activity
To prepare this activity, you will need to grab the pdf file below and print out the version that you want – colour or black and white. Then cut out the parts of the bears. I laminate each part of the bear for durability.
Using this Activity
To use, place all the parts of the bear in a separate piles eg. a pile of heads, a pile of bodies, a pile of left feet etc. Children will choose one body from the first pile and then look through the rest of the piles to find the same matching number parts and create their bear.
