That symbol, freshly revealed in a teaser shared by Prime Video, marks a dark turning point in the epic saga. Season 2 of The Rings of Power, which concluded last October, ended with Charlie Vickers’ Sauron—currently in his Adar form—laying waste to Eregion and setting off across Middle-earth with his newly gathered army. Now, it looks like the Dark Lord is evolving once more, with the teaser implying a major upgrade to his power and persona.
