Big Brother sees that after three weeks of boredom and repeat nominations, the BB27 house finally exploded last night with some absolutely wild drama. Someone won HoH, then lost their HoH. And the dethroned loser pitched a profanity-laced meltdown that made him a massive house target.
Big Brother Spoilers: Massive HoH Takeover Shakes Up BB27
The feeds were down for over 10 hours on Thursday for the live show that evicted Adrian Rocha and the HoH competition. When they came back up around 3:30 AM Eastern, we found out Rylie Jeffries had won Head of Household for week 4 – but his reign lasted only about 90 minutes before everything went sideways.
Mickey’s Power Play Changes Everything on BB27
Here’s where things get absolutely insane – Mickey Lee activated her Coup d’État power and successfully stole Rylie’s HoH! The power came with some serious caveats though. Once Rylie found out someone was attempting a takeover, he got a chance to stop it.
Mickey had to survive an interrogation round where Rylie got three minutes to grill each of the 13 remaining houseguests – that’s 39 minutes of questioning total. Then he had to guess who was trying to steal his power. If he guessed right, Mickey would’ve been exposed in front of the whole house and lost her shot.
But guess what? Rylie got it completely wrong. And now Mickey’s running the show while he’s got zero power and a major target on his back.
Big Brother Spoilers: Pre-Takeover Scrambling and Vote Flip Fallout
Before Mickey’s power move, Vince Panaro was in full panic mode. He and Zach Cornell had flipped their votes to save Cliffton “Will” Williams without telling Keanu Soto or Rylie. They’d been plotting with those guys all week, then decided to blindside them and blame Lauren Domingue for not wanting to break a tie vote.
Vince immediately ran to kiss Rylie’s butt and got reassurance he wouldn’t be nominated. He also groveled to Keanu, who apparently wasn’t mad about the vote but is now gunning for Zach since he hasn’t come to “kiss Keanu’s imaginary ring” yet.
Katherine Woodman was initially thrilled because Rylie’s head-over-heels for her and she would’ve been 100% safe under his HoH. Jimmy Heagerty was hoping to see Keanu and Will back on the block alongside Ashley Hollis under Rylie’s reign.
Morgan Pope and Mickey worked on selling Vince the idea that Ashley might have the mystery third power, which is hilarious since Morgan knew exactly what Mickey’s power was the whole time.
BB27: Rylie’s Epic Meltdown
This is where things got really ugly. When feeds came back after the three-hour blackout, Rylie was absolutely furious that his HoH had been successfully hijacked. And this isn’t just a behind-the-scenes power move – it’s a complete takeover. Mickey moved into the HoH room early this morning while Rylie got evicted from his privileges and room.
But Rylie wasn’t just pouting – he completely lost it on the women in the house. When feeds were down, he screamed at Morgan and called her a “f-ing liar.” According to Morgan, he barged in while she was changing in just a towel, yelling and cursing at her.
Rylie also raged at Mickey with similar language. When Mickey told him he was a gentleman and needed to stop cursing, he ranted about her not telling him what to do. Mickey told Morgan that Rylie’s “not logical at all, just emotional.”
According to Rylie, he called Mickey a liar because she told him this was the last week she could use her power. If that’s true, it was a massive lie – Mickey’s power was good all the way up to jury. He’s denying the cursing allegations, but we’ll see if his temper tantrum makes it onto Sunday’s edited CBS episode.
Big Brother 27: The Aftermath Gets Worse
After screaming at women, Rylie tried getting cozy with Katherine, asking if he could sleep in bed with her and cuddle. She shut him down twice, leaving him without a shoulder to cry on.
Katherine did give him some solid intel about Vince and Zach straddling both sides of the house, but Rylie’s got zero power to do anything about it this week on Big Brother.
Because he raged at new HoH Mickey and her ally Morgan with curse words and vitriol, it would be absolutely shocking if he doesn’t hit the block. If Rylie goes up, Katherine might join him as a pawn – that way, if Rylie wins veto and keeps his word to protect Katherine at all costs, he’d use it on her and stay on the block, prime for eviction on Thursday.
This power shift is huge for some houseguests and terrible for others. Rachel Reilly and Jimmy should be safe along with that whole side of the house, while Keanu’s probably sweating bullets. The feeds should be absolutely lit today with all this fallout.
Mickey’s got some serious decision-making to do as the new HoH. And after Rylie’s meltdown, his nomination seems like a lock. The house dynamics just got completely flipped. And honestly, it’s about time BB27 delivered some real drama!
