Fancy a pint? Today, Netflix released the first official key art and images for House of Guinness, the upcoming historical drama series from Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight. The eight-part series is set to premiere globally on September 25, 2025. House of Guinness will chart an epic story inspired by one of Europe’s most famous and enduring dynasties — the Guinness family. The show begins in the aftermath of Sir Benjamin Guinness’s death, exploring how his extraordinary legacy — and his will — shapes the lives of his four adult children while reverberating across Dublin society and even New York in the 19th century. Knight has spearheaded this series alongside his work on the upcoming Peaky Blinders movie and his recently announced role as the scribe for the upcoming James Bond film for Amazon MGM.

The series boasts a ridiculously good cast led by Anthony Boyle (Masters of the Air) as Arthur Guinness, Louis Partridge (Enola Holmes) as Edward Guinness, Emily Fairn (The Responder) as Anne Guinness (later Anne Plunket), and Fionn O’Shea (Normal People) as Benjamin Guinness. Joining them are James Norton (Happy Valley) as Sean Rafferty, Dervla Kirwan (True Detective: Night Country) as Aunt Agnes Guinness, Jack Gleeson (Game of Thrones) as Byron Hedges, Niamh McCormack (Everything Now) as Ellen Cochrane, Danielle Galligan (Shadow and Bone) as Lady Olivia Hedges, Ann Skelly (The Nevers) as Adelaide Guinness, and Seamus O’Hara (Blue Lights) as Patrick Cochrane.

Also featured are Michael McElhatton (Game of Thrones), David Wilmot (Station Eleven), Michael Colgan (Say Nothing), Jessica Reynolds (Kneecap), Hilda Fay (The Woman in the Wall), and Elizabeth Daulau (Andor).

Who Made ‘House of Guinness’?

The series was created and written by Steven Knight, with executive producers Karen Wilson, Elinor Day, Martin Haines, Tom Shankland, and Ivana Lowell. Shankland directed the first block of episodes, while Mounia Akl directed the second. Cahal Bannon serves as series producer, with Howard Burch as producer.

The logline for the series provided by Netflix says it “reimagines the period immediately after the death of Sir Benjamin Guinness, the man responsible for the extraordinary success of the Guinness brewery, and the far-reaching impact of his will on the fate of his four adult children, Arthur, Edward, Anne, and Ben, as well as on a group of Dublin characters who work and interact with the phenomenon that is Guinness.”

House of Guinness premieres September 25, 2025, only on Netflix. Check out the new images above and the key art below. While you wait for the premiere, Peaky Blinders is also available to stream on Netflix.
