The juxtaposition of a sneaker is cool, relatable, and gives that ’90s corporate commuting aesthetic.”
Flax agrees: “I love grounding a tailored look with sneakers—think wide-leg trousers, a crisp button-down, and a cropped trench (which will be huge this fall),” she says. “Finish this look off with a ’90s throwback style like Asics, Reebok, or New Balance.”
