Kate Middleton showed off her impeccable sense of style during her recent engagement in Northern Ireland, bringing back her beloved green Alexander McQueen coat.

The Princess of Wales, 43, stunned while donning one of her wardrobe favorites first worn in 2020, while visiting Bradford Town Hall, and again in 2022, at the royal family’s Christmas church outing.

She wore the signature piece again during her outing on Tuesday, October 14.

Her first stop was to the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service’s (NIFRS) new Learning and Development College in Cookstown, where she reprised her beloved McQueen coat with a pair of pointed-toe boots.

A force in fashion! Since the second Princess Kate strut down the catwalk at St Andrews University in 2002 and stole Prince William’s heart, it was clear that she would be quite the style icon.  While the sheer black dress will always remain one her most iconic outfits, the royal has grown into a much […]

Kate also wore her new five-ring stack that she showcased last month, having recently added a diamond-and-sapphire eternity band to her wedding finger made by royal jewelers G. Collins & Sons, as reported by Town & Country.

The new bling is speculated to be from her husband, Prince William, to celebrate the end of her chemotherapy treatment last year. (Kate announced that she was in remission in January.)

As part of her stack, she also has an Annoushka diamond eternity ring and a delicate platinum band featuring small diamonds. The eternity bands were created by G. Collins & Sons.

Her largest, most eye-catching ring is a sapphire once owned by the late Princess Diana, which Prince William popped the question with prior to their wedding in April 2011.

Kate’s five-ring stack is “a quiet evolution in royal jewelry, favoring modern, personal symbolism over formality,” according to Daily Mail.

Later in the day, Kate opted for an outfit change during her surprise visit to Northern Ireland, rocking a shorter coat paired with a brown skirt and flat boots. This was prior to stopping by Mallon Farm, a flax farm in County Tyrone, where she was seen dabbling in a linen-making technique.

The royal is known for wearing sentimental pieces, having been photographed in jewelry with a sweet nod to her kids, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, in September.

At the time, she wore her Daniella Draper Gold Fixed Alphabet necklace — with a price tag of around $495 prior to customizations — featuring G, C, and L initial charms. The initials are in their birth order with George first on July 22, 2013, followed by Charlotte on May 2, 2015, and Louis on April 23, 2018.

Us Weekly exclusively learned in August that Kate has been figuring out how to balance her royal role in the public eye with motherhood and taking care of herself.

“Kate’s outlook has changed, and her priorities have shifted,” a source told Us. “[She’s] emphasizing her family and her well-being over [intense] duties.”

It was ultimately a decision that Kate and William, 43, reached together, noted a second source. “While they take their responsibilities very seriously, they are not afraid to say no when necessary.”

The insider added, “Kate knows visibility is crucial for maintaining the monarchy’s profile, but she doesn’t need to be at everything. She’s [being more] intentional.”
