DIY Fall Themed Display Under a Glass Cloche | Thrifty Decor Chick

[ad_1]

Creating a beautiful fall themed display with lights under a cloche.

I’ve been adding fall decor touches around the house over the past few weeks
and have thoroughly enjoyed the process. Our home feels so warm and cozy!

So much so, I recreated it again this year!

The evergreens mixed in with the fall colors and leaves is unexpected, but I
LOVE how it works together.

When I was selling some items last year, I decided to sell a large glass
cloche that I’ve had in my decor stash forever. I kept second guessing
getting rid of it though, and I’m so glad I did!

After creating this sweet little fall scene under glass, my mind is
swimming with ideas for the upcoming holidays!

For this quick project, I gathered some fall craft supplies like little
pinecones and acorns:

I pulled a bunch of those off of a fall pick from the craft store. (You’ll
want everything to be pretty small.)

The main display under the glass is a small hops arrangement I’ve had for a
while. I added some soft reindeer moss to tuck everything into on this beautiful green platter:

There are no rules when it comes to a seasonal project like this one, and
the possibilities for the decor details are endless!

The light strand is only three feet long, so the length was perfect for a
small display like this one. I made sure to leave the switch on the outside
of the glass, you can check that out in the video.

It’s SO pretty and feels like a little woodland world under there!:

Our glass cloche is about 12 inches tall and nine inches wide, so it’s
pretty large. This would be lovely in a smaller version too! (Hmmm, I may
have to try that out…)

So much fun! Decorating for the seasons should be enjoyable and spark your
creativity — this one was both for me!

Here’s a list of the items I used (or very similar ones):

Just about everything looks better with lights under glass! 🙂
