Jenelle Evans treated herself to a mommy makeover ahead of her 34th birthday.
“I’ve been keeping a little secret 👀✨ It feels so good to finally share this with you guys!” the Teen Mom star, 33, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, December 18, alongside a slideshow of her in an underwear set post-surgery. “After 3 pregnancies, work outs, and eating clean my body still needed some extra help especially with diastasis recti (a mom pouch) which a lot of us deal with after we have kids. No amount of exercise fixes this.”
Evans explained that she decided to get a “mommy makeover” and sought out the help of Dr. Rachel Mason in Las Vegas earlier this month. She decided to get her “old implants” replaced with “400cc silicone implants” in addition to repairing her abs with a “tummy tuck.”
“I’ve had my body judged since I was a teenager, so choosing this was about feeling like myself again and not explaining it to anyone else.” she continued. “Still healing but I already feel so confident, happy and really excited about this new chapter! Tomorrow I celebrate my 34th birthday and I can honestly say I’m proud to welcome a new year loving the skin I’m in. 🥰🎂✨.”
In a subsequent post, Evans shared that she got a tummy tuck, liposuction and diastasis recti repairment. She also included a before and after video of her procedure results.
Evans rose to fame after appearing on 16 and Pregnant in 2010. After welcoming son Jace with ex Andrew Lewis, she went on to star on the spinoff series Teen Mom 2 from 2011 to 2019.
During her time on the show, Evans struggled with substance abuse, while Lewis was not involved in Jace’s life. The reality star ultimately signed over custody of Jace to her mom, Barbara Evans.
In 2014, Jenelle welcomed son Kaiser with then-boyfriend Nathan Griffith. Following her 2015 split from Griffith, Jenelle moved on with David Eason. Jenelle and Eason welcomed daughter Ensley in January 2017 before tying the knot later that year.
In March 2024, Jenelle filed for a separation from Eason after six years of marriage.
“His attitude that he had, putting everyone in a bad mood all the time,” she exclusively told Us Weekly in June about her decision to end her marriage. “Everyone was walking on eggshells and I’m like, I don’t have to live like this, and I don’t have to stay together just because we have kids.”
Earlier this year, a judge agreed to grant Jenelle’s motion for an “absolute divorce” between her and Eason.
“Now I can breathe 👏🏻🎉,” she wrote via Instagram when their split became official. “Went through our assets and came to a settlement, ladies please don’t ever put anything in anyone else’s name but your own. The battle is over! 😭🙈 #LessonLearned #Divorced.”
In August, Jenelle revealed to Us Weekly exclusively that her and Eason’s assets were divided evenly despite her being the main earner.
“Unfortunately, North Carolina is a 50/50 state and even though I paid for the majority of our assets, they had to be divided regardless,” she explained. “I don’t think a lot of people put that into perspective when getting married, and they definitely should. Prenups should be more accepted into society in my opinion.”
