In the unofficial video Young Thug released last week for his song “Man I Miss My Dogs,” Thug announced the release date for his long-awaited comeback album, Uy Scuti. However, after Cardi B’s promotional shenanigans over the past few days alerted him to their shared release date, he did what any Southern gentleman (with a Billboard ranking hanging in the balance) would do: he vacated the date, pushing his own album back a week to accommodate Cardi and her also long-awaited (longer-awaited?) album, Am I The Drama?.

“Yall know I wasn’t dropping Friday,” he wrote on Twitter (which I’m never calling “X,” FOH). “It’s a ladies day do yo shit @iamcardib.”

Cardi acknowledged his consideration, encouraging him on his own impending release. “And you better step next week,” she replied in a quote post. “You got this, You know this !!”

It probably doesn’t hurt that both artists’ albums will be released under the Atlantic Records imprint, facilitating the last-minute change and prompting their easy cooperation. After all, if both albums do well, it benefits both artists, as well as all the others on the label’s roster hoping to get their own budgets cleared. Gotta keep those coffers full, am I right?

Uy Scuti is now due on 9/26 via Atlantic Records.

Despite having a flourishing rap career, Cardi B has also been hard at work at building a family. While working on her second album, Am I The Drama?, she popped out with not just one, but two kids, giving her daughter Kulture two younger siblings before the project even had a title or release date.

Appearing on The Jennifer Hudson Show to promote that album, the Bronx native joked that she wanted even more kids, giving a hilariously unhinged line of reasoning for the desire. “The more kids you have, the less of a possibility you go to, like, a [nursing] home,” she explained. “One of them is gonna wipe my butt!”

Cardi also explained how she kept the kids grounded despite spoiling them rotten on their birthdays. “They have like a lot of cousins and a lot of my friends, they still outside, they still in the hood and everything,” she noted. “They was just in the Dominican Republic and it’s like, yeah, my grandma gonna make [them] clean and stuff. I want them to know that there’s another world out there that is not your world. It’s not always about [the] backyard, and foxes and deers — there’s rats and mices.”

Cardi B has found romance again with Stefon Diggs — and after being put through the relationship wringer.

The singer divorced Offset — her husband of six years and father of her children Kulture, Wave and Blossom — amid ongoing rumors he was unfaithful. The pair married in 2017 after having their first date in February of the same year. They announced they were expecting Kulture that year, and she was born in July 2018.

The pair welcomed son Wave in September 2021. Cardi announced she was expecting their third baby, Blossom, one day after she filed for divorce from the rapper for a second time.

Since the couple’s split, she has been spotted with the New England Patriots wide receiver on several occasions. The pair were first linked in October 2024 and were later captured by TMZ coming out of a club in Miami in February of the following year. They have since gone Instagram official as of June 2025.

In July 2024, Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset. Despite ongoing rumors of his infidelity, an insider told Page Six at the time that cheating rumors “were not the straw that broke the camel’s back for Cardi.”

E! News reported in October 2024 that Cardi was spotted with Diggs at a club. At the time, Cardi dismissed the rumors as crazy and did not add any further comment.

February 2025

On Valentine’s Day, TMZ captured footage of Cardi B and Diggs spending time together in Miami. The pair were filmed in the middle of the night.

April 2025

The pair continued to spend time together and were spotted at Coachella on April 13 when the singer gave Diggs a lap dance.

May 2025

Both Cardi and Diggs attended the Met Gala but walked the red carpet separately. Just Jared reported the pair were spotted arriving at the same after party later that night.

Cardi and Diggs took things to the next level a week later when they hard launched their relationship at the Knicks vs. Celtics game on May 12.

June 2025

On June 1, Cardi B made it extremely clear on Instagram who she is in a relationship with when she shared a photo of herself and Diggs together on a boat as well as photos of a room filled with roses, presumably from the football star.

September 2025

In a cover interview with Billboard, Cardi opened up about her romance with Diggs, explaining that it was hard to date another public figure after her split from Offset. “It was very tough, but it is what it is. It’s tough hiding,” she said. “It’s tough dating in your 30s too, but I like him. I love him today. I was always scared of dating people [because] I’ve always been in a long relationship since I was, like, 21.”

She added that she’s impressed by Diggs’ work ethic as an athlete. “He has to do two different things: learn his playbook and get physical. He has to be in bed at a certain time and wake up at a certain time,” she told the outlet. “I’m like, ‘Oh, my gosh. You’re literally in the military. You really work hard.’ I work hard, but I can take a little break. I can lay back and I don’t have to be running, but it’s very inspirational to see how hard somebody works. It’s just like, ‘Wow. You should be proud of yourself.’”
