The Sister Wives‘ battle continues today between Christine Brown Woolley and Kody Brown, but not on the TLC screen. Instead, this new phase of their battle happens in the headlines. It started after Christine burst on the scene with her new book earlier than expected. So, you can only imagine how Kody’s bubble might burst when his ex squeezes him out of his Special Forces headline news.

Sister Wives star Kody Brown is a contestant in the newest season of Special Forces on Fox. For the fans, that was big news. But then Christine Brown‘s new book hit the shelves last week.

Before her new book came out, Kody talked about crying on Special Forces and enduring the impossible, but then Christine’s book surfaced.

Christine’s memoir went on sale earlier than the original release date. So, this put Christine in the headlines front and center. And at the same time, it seemingly pushed Kody’s appearance in the Special Forces series into the background.

Christine Brown Woolley Goes After Kody Brown…

When Sister Wives fans first read about the many things Christine had to say about Kody and his last wife, Robyn Brown, they flooded social media.

From the stories about Robyn and Kody doling out punishment to the original three wives, to the sad honeymoon Christine experienced, she hit on many topics in this book.

 

At the same time that Christine’s book burst onto the scene, the social media buzz was all about Kody Brown doing a gig on Fox’s Special Forces. So, you can only imagine how he felt when he took the backseat to his ex in the headline news.

This is a guy who confessed his need to be the center of attention. And he said this as his Sister Wives cameras rolled. So when the headlines about Kody seemed to vanish and Christine’s tell-all book took over, fans assumed this made him jealous.

Apology Tour…

Christine puts up with meeting Kody face-to-face during his apology tour for the three wives. He hits each one up to say he is sorry for they way he acted and what he said in the past when Season 20 rolls out.

Christine doesn’t want to talk to Kody, but the previews show that she does. It also shows her husband, David Woolley, spending time with Kody. But they aren’t visiting; no, these two guys are in a competition. They drive race cars around the track, and it looks like each wants to emerge as the winner.

So, even on the new season of Sister Wives, Christine is taking front and center. And she does this along with David in a couple of episodes. Sister Wives: Kody Brown Shoots Fireworks More Than Once

On the last Sister Wives episode of the season, Kody Brown became overwhelmed with emotion talking about Robyn Brown. A trip down memory lane had Kody telling a one-of-a-kind story, or so he said.

Lightning struck, and fireworks went off, for the man with ringlets. It was an amazing connection Kody felt with Robyn Brown, even without laying a hand on her. But here is the kicker: Kody tells Suki his reaction to Robyn is the first and only time he felt that way.

Suki showed this Sister Wives clip to Christine Brown Woolley, who was stunned to hear Kody attach this reaction to Robyn and Robyn only. He tells Suki he never felt like this with any of his other wives. But Christine remembers differently.

Christine Brown Woolley Blows Up…

Christine did the Sister Wives One-on-Ones with her husband, David Woolley, by her side. She blew up when she saw Kody’s tears of emotion while saying none of the other wives made him feel that way.

Christine squirmed a little as she blasted that clip as false. She took a stance that almost looked like, “How dare he!” At first Christine looked as if she was still a bit jealous over Kody holding Robyn above the other woman.

Kody had just said to Suki that Christine has to stop comparing herself to Robyn. Then when Christine took offense to what Kody was saying about being so awestruck by Robyn, it was like it pushed Christine’s buttons.

Sister Wives: Is Christine Still Jealous—Or Does She Know the Truth?

Sister Wives fans were stunned that Christine became so adamant about this not being true, with David right next to her. It has to be hard on this new husband to listen to all this rehashing of the old husband.

But David seems like a real trooper and very much in love with Christine. While many times what we hear from Kody and his ex-wives boils down to he-said-she-said.

So, at times, Sister Wives fans think the truth falls somewhere in the middle. But not this time… Christine remembered correctly, where it seems Kody didn’t.

The Written Truth From Kody About Christine

Christine has proof that Kody was rewriting history about his immediate feelings for Robyn. He claimed he felt something with Robyn that he didn’t feel when first meeting the other wives.

In a book the Sister Wives spouses penned several years ago, Kody gives that same kind of drooling talk about meeting Christine.

From the book “Becoming Sister Wives—The Story of an Unconventional Marriage,” Kody pours out his emotions. When first meeting Christine, Kody writes, “There was an undeniable spark between us.”

Kody even remembered what Christine was wearing the first time he saw her. He also said that he knew right away she would be his wife one day. He was quite enamored by her.

Sister Wives: Meri Growls and Kody Put the Brakes On

Kody was a newlywed with Meri at the time he first met Christine, so he wasn’t wife hunting to start his Sister Wives family just yet. In fact, when Christine yelled out praise for Kody at one of the church outings, Kody said he could hear Meri “growling.” She wasn’t ready for wife number two either.

But then wife number two turned out to be Janelle, and Christine made it into the Sister Wives plural marriage later down the line as the third bride. She was also Kody’s last wife for a couple of decades until Robyn came along.

So, there you have it; Christine might have seemed a little jealous over Kody declaring a lightning bolt struck him over Robyn. But Christine was right. She said Kody described seeing her for the first time the same way he described his eyes meeting Robyn’s from across the church.
