Happy New Music Friday! The weekend is here, which means more streaming, new playlists and the best that music has to offer — and ET has you covered for everything in between.

Following last week’s release of The Life of a Showgirl, which sold over 4 million albums in the U.S., Taylor Swift will be returning to Disney+ with two brand new projects — Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era, a 6-episode behind the scenes docuseries event chronicling the development, impact and inner-workings that created The Eras Tour, and Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show, the full concert film featuring The Tortured Poets Department for the first time, streaming Disney 12 on Disney+. Taylor shared, “We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety.”

Charlie Puth has announced his fourth studio album, Whatever’s Clever! will be out on March 6, 2026. He released a new single, “Changes,” where he reflects on both personal and professional changes. His wife Brooke Sansone makes a sweet cameo in the music video and they reveal a baby is on the way as they both place their hands on her stomach. Last month, Charlie kicked off a series of sold-out underplay residencies at Blue Note New York and continued this week in Los Angeles where he debuted his new song “Changes.”

The Latin Academy has announced the first round of performers for the 26th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards. Pepe Aguilar, Aitana, Ivan Cornejo, DannyLux, Gloria Estefan, Kakalo, Carin León, Liniker, Morat and Los Tigres del Norte, as well as the 2025 Person of the Year, Raphael, will all take the stage on November 13.

No Doubt have announced six additional dates for their highly anticipated No Doubt Live at Sphere residency due to incredible fan demand. The newly added shows are set for May 21, 23, 24, 27, 29, and 30. The residency marks their first extended run of performances in nearly 14 years, following their historic Seven Night Stand in Los Angeles in 2012.

LANY announced their 2026 Soft World Tour and will be taking their new album, Soft, on the road for fans across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, UK, and Europe for thirty eight dates. The tour will kick off January 23 in Dubai.

Nick Jonas and his nonprofit organization Beyond Type 1 launched a new campaign centered around debunking diabetes myths. The video, “Go Beyond,” features Nick, Billy Porter, Adonai “AD” Mitchell, and Sam Morrison, and challenges people to go beyond what they think they know about diabetes. Beyond Type 1 is a global nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of those impacted by diabetes.

Apple Music’s Most-Streamed Songs Of All Time: Ed Sheeran http://livelaughlovedo.com/entertainment/apple-musics-most-streamed-songs-of-all-time-ed-sheeran/ http://livelaughlovedo.com/entertainment/apple-musics-most-streamed-songs-of-all-time-ed-sheeran/#respond Sun, 06 Jul 2025 12:37:13 +0000 http://livelaughlovedo.com/2025/07/06/apple-musics-most-streamed-songs-of-all-time-ed-sheeran/ [ad_1]

Apple Music launched almost exactly ten years ago now, and in the decade since, it has become a culture-defining streaming platform. Users have logged billions of plays over the years, and now Apple Music has celebrated that by sharing the list of the service’s 500 most-streamed songs ever. They’ve been rolling out the list gradually over the past few days, but now the whole thing is here.

Congratulations are in order for Ed Sheeran, as his “Shape Of You” was the most-played song globally during the first decade of Apple Music. The Weeknd is No. 2 with “Blinding Lights,” and he’s also the artist with the most R&B/soul songs on the chart, with nine of them. Drake is No. 3 with “God’s Plan,” and he has more songs in the top 500 than any other artist thanks to his 27 entries. (“One Dance” is another of his that made the top 10, at No. 7.)

Taylor Swift is also heavily represented, coming in right behind Drake with 14 total songs on the list. Billie Eilish leads the charge for Alternative songs, with nine on the list, and “Bad Guy” is the top-streamed song in the genre (it’s also No. 10 on the overall list and is the most-streamed song by a female-identifying artist).

As for country music, Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” is in the lead there, while Morgan Wallen has the most total country songs on the chart with nine. Finally, among Latin artists, Bad Bunny has more songs on the list than anybody else, with 10.

Check out the full playlist here or below.

Happy New Music Friday! The weekend is here, which means more streaming, new playlists and the best that music has to offer — and ET has you covered for everything in between.

BET Awards 2025 will be celebrating its 25th anniversary on June 9. Ledisi and Keyshia Cole have been added as performers and Elmiene and Ravyn Lenae will grace the BET Amplified Stage. Pre-show performers include Lil’ Kim, 803 Fresh, Gelo, Honey Bxby, Jordan Adetunji, Laila!, Larry June, Mario, Moliy, Rob49, Shop Boyz, Spice, The Alchemist, Trillian and Ying Yang Twins.

Cardi B will be receiving the ASCAP Voice of the Culture Award at the 2025 ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Awards on June 8 in Los Angeles. This award is presented to ASCAP members who have had a major influence on music and culture to recognize their success as creators and changemakers. The annual event will celebrate ASCAP’s top music creators at the crossroads of music, art and culture.

Madonna announced the long-rumored project Veronica Electronica, featuring rare and unreleased remixes from her album Ray of Light. The project will arrive July 25 and the beloved deep cut “Skin (The Collaboration Remix Edit)” is out now. Veronica Electronica, an eight-track companion to Ray of Light, was originally envisioned by Madonna as a remix album in 1998. The project was ultimately sidelined by the original album’s runaway success. More than 25 years later, that long-rumored concept is finally coming to life. The collection features newly edited versions of club remixes by Peter Rauhofer, William Orbit, Sasha, BT and Victoria Calderone, along with the original demo of “Gone, Gone, Gone.”

iHeartMedia announced the lineup for the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Festival Presented by Capital One. The two-day main stage event hosted by Ryan Seacrest will take place September 19 and 20 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and will feature performances by Bryan Adams, Ed Sheeran, Feid, GloRilla, Jelly Roll, John Fogerty, Justice, Lil Wayne, LL COOL J, Mariah Carey, Maroon 5, Sammy Hagar, Tate McRae, The Offspring, Tim McGraw and more.

The Latin Recording Academy announced that Raphael will be the 2025 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year. He will be honored for his more than six-decade career as a multifaceted singer and performer. Raphael will be celebrated at a special gala on November 12 in Las Vegas featuring a tribute concert and star-studded lineup of singers and friends.

Ashlee Simpson will headline Voltaire at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas on August 29 and 30. Her show, I Am Me will include performances of her hits like “Pieces of Me,” “La La” and “Boyfriend.” Ashlee shared, “I’m so excited to take the stage in such a stunning space like Voltaire and have the opportunity to perform up close and personal with my fans.”

Old Dominion announced their new album, Barbara will be out August 22. The 13 songs will explore what it means to be positive and to own your place in the world without denying reality. ET’s Nischelle Turner and Rachel Smith sat down with the band at their bar in Nashville, Odie’s, where they opened up about their new album and tour.
