Days of Our Lives delivers Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) acting like the world’s best assistant for EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). But there may be more than just business going on between these two pretty soon. We may see Cat and EJ coloring outside the lines and getting involved on a personal level as well.

With Cat moonlighting as an ISA agent for Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy), I wonder if Cat is going to try and tempt EJ in a honeypot situation to get the info they need, or maybe Cat legit starts getting interested in EJ.

Days of Our Lives: From Heartbreak to Espionage

First, let’s start with Cat. She recently got her heartbroken when Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) decided to break up with her. He basically convinced Cat that they could be together, that he really liked her. Then they made love and then bam, Chad dumped her. Of course, that’s only because his son Thomas DiMera (Christopher Cary) was furious that his dad was dating Cat, who had pretended to be his dead mom, Abigail Deveraux (AnnaLynne McCord.

Everything was fine until rotten little Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) blabbed the truth to Thomas. Although Chad dumping her did break her heart, Cat understood that Chad had to do what was best for Thomas. Kids come first. And although the kid has gone too far, demanding that Chad run Cat out of town and threatening to run away if Chad doesn’t make it happen. It’s still understandable what the kid is going through.

The way he’s going to extremes isn’t cool, but that’s because there’s somebody else in his ear. So, we’ve got Cat sad and dumped and lonely. And by the way, EJ is also dumped and lonely, but he’s trying not to act sad. Plus, Cat just told EJ that Chad broke up with her. So, maybe EJ is now looking at Cat in a new light. Or EJ may have an ulterior motive that involves his brother Chad.

Days of Our Lives: A DiMera’s Motives

We all saw the Cat and Chad breakup coming. We knew there wasn’t a happily ever after for that couple given how much Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), and Jennifer Horton (Cady McClain) despise Cat. So, unless she finds some way to redeem herself in the eyes of the Hortons and Deverauxs, it’s never going to be a go.

And as of right now, I don’t see circumstances changing for Chad and Cat because Thomas knows that Chad lied to him about his relationship with Cat As far as Thomas is concerned, Cat needs to go and Rachel is going to keep Thomas amped up about this because she is a bad influence on her cousin. So, for now, Chad is probably just going to throw himself into being a dad and running the Salem Spectator.

As for Cat, she’s throwing herself headlong into working for EJ while she’s undercover for the ISA and coordinating efforts with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). But let’s face it, she’s in close quarters every day now with EJ, who is handsome. He’s charming. He’s fit. There’s the accent. Cat’s got to notice. And we know EJ has noticed how gorgeous Cat is. That’s why he bid on her to be his auction date the moment that EJ woke up from that coma after Rachel shot him.

Cat Heartbroken on DOOL

Now Cat’s heart is broken right now and I doubt she’s ready to date. But if EJ asked her out, Cat might say yes to try and get more info from EJ for the ISA. They want to know who helped him buy the hospital and what he’s planning to do with that secret lab that Cat now knows that he’s building. EJ and Cat already have chemistry. You can see it. And we all know how much EJ DiMera loves a blonde beauty.

There’s Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), there’s Belle Black (Martha Madison), and of course Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney). Maybe he will add Cat to his collection of blondes. Plus, EJ loves to irritate his siblings, and he knows that Chad really liked Cat. So, EJ may find out his naughty little murderous niece, Rachel, is the one who blabbed and got Thomas to demand that Chad break up with Cat. If so, EJ may romance Cat to try and get Chad to see he can’t let his kid Thomas control his love life.

I mean, EJ and Chad have both watched Rachel destroy several of her dad Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) relationships. Pretty much anybody that wasn’t her mom. So, I could also see EJ trying to make Chad jealous, either to give him a wakeup call or EJ might do it just to mess with his brother for fun. You know how those DiMeras do each other.

Days of Our Lives: Behind the Scenes Spoilers

I’ve mentioned a few times also that when Days of Our Lives did their big 60th anniversary photo shoot, that’s for the anniversary episodes coming in November, so just in a few weeks. And when they did the photo shoot, they paired people either in couples or in storyline pairings.

So what really caught my eye, and I think I saw it in an Insta story on Dan Feuerriegel’s social media. I think that’s where I caught the photo, but they had Cat posing for photos with Chad and EJ. Cat and Chad, Cat and EJ, and Cat, Chad, and EJ. So that’s kind of hinting a love triangle or something more than what we have seen so far. So obviously we know that Cat and Chad are going to continue to be in each other’s orbit and EJ is about to be in the mix.

Days of Our Lives: Romance or Espionage?

Even though Cat is working on the side of law and order and EJ is criminally inclined and morally ambiguous. I do think Cat’s going to be intrigued by him. How can you not be? Right. The big question is whether feelings are in the mix. EJ may want to date Cat just to mess with Chad or he might think somebody with a shady past like Cat would be more understanding about his own shady past and his possible future criminal endeavors.

Then there’s the question of whether Cat would toy with EJ’s feelings or at least his libido to try and get the info that Shane wants about the hospital and whatever dodgy things that EJ is doing downstairs at that lab. So even if Cat is trying to dig out his deep dark secrets, EJ may be too clever to fall for that. Or he may pretend to fall for it so he can try and get Cat into bed while letting her think she’s playing him. And don’t forget, we also have Cat making friends with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), who is the secret investor in the dodgy hospital deal. So, we will also have to wait and see if she encourages Cat and EJ to date. Or maybe Gwen sniffs out the fact that Cat is snooping and spying and she warns EJ off about her.

Gwen Busts Cat on DOOL?

That being said, I doubt that Gwen will catch on to what Cat is doing. She’s not the most observant of British babes. I mean, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) was boinking Gwen’s husband practically under her nose, and she didn’t notice what Dimitri von Leuschner DiMera (Peter Porte) and Leo were doing until she caught them red-handed. So, we’ll also have to wait and see if Rafe or Shane encouraged Cat to use her beauty and her feminine wiles to get the goods on EJ. So, it definitely looks like we’ve got a Cat and EJ thing coming, but the question is, is it romance or is it intrigue?

Days of Our Lives sees that nobody is happy with how EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is running Salem’s University Hospital, least of all Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans). Since EJ seems likely to keep up with the petty games he’s planning, there may be a full-scale revolt on his hands led by Kayla.

Sweetness is not going to be so sweet when it comes down to it. We’re going to dive into whether it’ll be EJ’s cheapskate ways or the distraction of Johnny DiMera‘s (Carson Boatman) trial that leads to his downfall in running University Hospital.

Days of our Lives: Kayla Fuming at EJ

Kayla was just telling Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) that EJ cost-cutting measures at the hospital have everybody up in arms, wondering what’s the next inconvenience for the staff and also for the patients. She warns Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) about EJ. But it’s too late. He owns the hospital. And Stephanie took that job. It’s going to take a lot more than just a little PR work from Kayla’s daughter to clean up the mess that EJ is making.

Honestly, it would probably have been a lot easier on this staff if Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) had won the vote. But remember, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) arrested Xander at the hospital right at the time of the vote. So, things went badly. And EJ wound up with the winning bid to purchase the near-bankrupt medical facility.

Understanding EJ’s  Controversial Management and Budget Cuts at Salem’s University Hospital

The big question, of course, is why EJ is driving Kayla crazy with insane budget cuts. If he can’t afford to keep the AC on, then he can’t afford the hospital. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) were talking about the mystery of why EJ even wanted the hospital because it’s a losing proposition financially. And any money from Versix is years away from coming in.

Not only are Rafe and Cat trying to figure out where EJ got the money to buy the hospital—because he didn’t just have it lying around—but also why it was so important to him. Xander was interested in the hospital because Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) works there. You know, that’s her career. It’s her livelihood. The hospital is important to Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers).

So Xander and the combined Titan Dear companies had the money to buy it and the money to keep it going until it could turn a profit, like until that Versix thing happened. But EJ doesn’t seem to have that much room in his wallet. He claimed he bought the hospital because they saved his life after he was shot. But Kayla is not buying it.

Upcoming Dr. Tom Horton Free Clinic: A Response to University Hospital’s Decline

We also have something big coming in the local Salem medical community that could be part of a backlash to EJ antics at the hospital. His slashing of the budget and alienating the doctors are all part of this on Days of our Lives.

That could be why the town of Salem is forming the Dr. Tom Horton free clinic, which is coming soon. It was in the summer promo, so within the next couple of months, Kayla is pleased to announce its opening. She’s hosting the inaugural party for it.

The big question is, does Salem suddenly need a free clinic because EJ has driven down the availability and quality of care at the hospital? Are there not enough doctors? The hospital’s board of directors had three options: go completely bankrupt and let the hospital close, see it sold to Xander or see it sold to EJ.

Xander was in the lead because he’s married to a doctor, Sarah They were still together then. And Maggie his mother-in-law, also had a vote. Xander had what he needed to win until things took a terrible turn. The Hunky Titans’ arrest forced the board’s hand. And EJ essentially won by default.

Investigation into EJ’s Hospital Purchase and Financial Backing

Since then, ISA director Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) has been completely fixated on finding out what the Demaras are up to. He dragged Cat back as an ISA analyst to follow EJ money trail because he says she’s the top of her game. Cat and Rafe are trying to figure out who helped EJ buy the failing hospital because it looks like he didn’t have the capital to do it alone.

They don’t know where the deeper pockets are and are digging for clues. Kayla is absolutely losing patience in the meantime. EJ tossed her out of her office the other day to have a meeting with her daughter Stephanie while he was cranking up the AC and making everybody else sweaty.

Kayla even threatened EJ with resigning because of all the negative changes he’s been making. After Kayla made that threat, did back down a little because he knows that if Kayla quit, more staff would probably walk out right behind her.

Hospital Staff Discontent and Impact of EJ’s Cost-Cutting Measures

Not only has angered Kayla on Days. But EJ’s henchwoman, Rita, has been marching around making very ill-advised changes, too. They got cheap on coffee for the doctors. And Rita yanked the fresh fruits and vegetables out of the cafeteria. EJ has cut the hospital’s pharmacy hours so drastically that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) was rushing to pick up a prescription before they closed. And that was very important.

Cat has been working for Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) but didn’t have a shift on the most recent episode because Doc’s been off her game since John Black (Drake Hogestyn) died and has been working a lot. But Cat was up at the hospital and ran into Chad who knew she was off work. Cat lied, saying she was doing some things for Marlena. But really she was creeping around the hospital digging into what EJ is up to.

Elevator Incident Highlights Risks of EJ’s Budget Cuts at University Hospital

Cat and Chad wound up in the elevator, which broke down and left them stuck inside. It looks like it might have been the same elevator shaft and elevator that was out of order when they were filming Body and Soul. If you remember, Nurse Whitley King (Kim Coles) tampered with the elevator and nearly killed Bonnie.

This time, though, it seems like EJ budget cuts may have affected elevator maintenance and actually put his brother at risk. Kayla is going to be furious about that because it means doctors could get stuck, orderlies could get stuck on the elevators with patients. And it sure looks like is about to be facing a firestorm from disgruntled employees and patients. That’s the kind of stuff that can get the hospital sued.

Johnny’s Trial Distracts EJ While Hospital Staff Plans a Revolt

Johnny trial is eating up most of EJ’s attention. And it seems like he’s letting Rita run amok and terrorize everybody in the sake of slashing expenses. With EJ not paying attention, there may be an uprising behind his back, possibly spearheaded by Chief of Staff Kayla, who hates him. She seems to be a driving force behind the founding of the Tom Horton free clinic

It will be later this summer or possibly early Fall when Kayla announces the grand opening of the Tom Horton free clinic in front of family, friends, and colleagues. The big question is whether doctors are going to be leaving University Hospital and bailing on EJ to head over to the Horton Clinic instead.

Potential Drama Surrounding the Horton Clinic Dedication and Stephanie’s Past

Also, just a quick side note: Mike Horton’s son is Jeremy Horton (Trevor Donovan). We know Mike Horton is coming back for the dedication of the clinic. I wonder if his son Jeremy is going to be coming. He’s that crazy ex of Stephanie’s that Steve was just talking about.

Stephanie was worried about an ex of hers recognizing a passage of her book and thought he sent that package. It seems like Jeremy is going to be the awful ex. Her other awful ex, Everett Lynch (Blake Berris), is dead, so Jeremy is the top contender. The bottom line: EJ is poking a stick into a hornet’s nest at University Hospital. And he might get stung soon by Kayla.

Days of Our Lives sees EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is rich. But not enough to buy University Hospital. So, we want to talk about whether Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) is the secret partner that helped him get his hands on Salem’s Medical Center. And we’ve got some breadcrumbs. We’ve got some leak info. We have lots to talk about.

We’re going to dive into whether EJ DiMera turned to somebody who’s family adjacent to help him buy the hospital or maybe that person brought him into the deal. And it could be an off-campus jilted Madame Vivian Alamain who supplied enough funds for his winning bid.

EJ DiMera’s Financial Investigation: Unraveling the Mystery of University Hospital’s Purchase

Now, you may be aware that EJ’s finances are under investigation by both the ISA and the FBI in a joint project with Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) leading the charge if you’re current on today’s episodes. I know some of you guys say you just come here and you don’t really watch. So, that’s currently what’s happening if you’re not watching.

Ever since EJ DiMera won the bid to purchase the failing University Hospital, you know, people have wondered how he did it. And it’s one thing for Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) to put in a bid. He has got the buying power of the combined forces of Titan and also DiMera Enterprises, the merged company behind him. But EJ, that hospital purchase would have come out of his own personal pocket. But even his pockets aren’t that deep. And Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) told Cat Greene she needed to come back as a ISA analyst and work with newly reinstated FBI guy Rafe Hernandez to figure out if EJ used dirty money to buy the hospital.

Days of our Lives: Rafe Ratted Out EJ

And Rafe Hernandez of course just spilled the tea to Cat Greene about EJ putting a doppelganger in his place and just a whole bunch of other schemes he’s done. But following the money trail already, Cat Greene and Rafe Hernandez see that EJ didn’t have enough money of his own to buy the hospital outright. Plus, the hospital wasn’t doing well on Days of our Lives. It was failing. So, it’s not a great investment.

There’s the Versix drug that could bring in billions. But that’s like years down the road. It takes so long to get pharmaceuticals out. So, I’m really wondering if somehow Vivian Alamain is involved and she’s working on this with EJ DiMera and there may be a third conspirator.

The Web of Deception: EJ, Family Secrets, and Potential Conspirators

So, obviously, you know, Vivian Alamain is the mother of EJ’s brother, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), who is missing but alive. But first, before we dig more into the whole Vivian Alamain dynamic, I want to talk about EJ DiMera because he’s swamped right now. He’s trying to exonerate his son Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) from those attempted murder charges.

And of course, right now he does not know. But he will soon that people are hot on his trail digging into his finances. Cat Greene and Rafe Hernandez It looks like Patch (Stephen Nichols) might be digging into it as well. And they’ve done this whole retcon, which is a historical rewrite to make a current plot plausible if you don’t know the word retcon.

So, the retcon has made Cat Greene an expert financial analyst for the ISA and Rafe Hernandez is a seasoned FBI agent. He’s a former police commission. So, if anybody can trace where the big check EJ DiMera wrote came from, you know, I think those two stand a good chance.

Days of our Lives: Who Has an Agenda?

So, they need to figure out which rich Salemite has an agenda for the hospital and who might be involved. You know, who else in town could afford to throw cash in that big a pile to fund the hospital purchase? And not only who has that much money. But who it would actually be willing to work with EJ DiMera since he’s the face of the operation and he’s, you know, kind of one of the public enemies in town.

It’s clearly not Xander Cook or Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier). Now, you can’t forget that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) has a pile of von Lochner money. But I don’t really see her having a reason to invest in University Hospital. But that’s not to say that she’s not entirely uninvolved. And also, based on Gwen’s chat with EJ DiMera, they don’t seem to be in cahoots about any sort of mutual investment or business project.

Days of our Lives: EJ on Top

So, I think EJ DiMera is the face of the plan. But not the finances behind the plan. Because remember, he had to play nice with the board members to get their votes, too. So, it wasn’t just money, it was EJ DiMera against stiff competition from Xander Cook, who was also vying for votes. And lucky for EJ DiMera, Xander Cook was arrested for beating Philip Kiriakis more than half to death.

So that cost Xander Cook a whole lot of votes. If not for that brutal attack on Philip Kiriakis and then Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) arresting him, Xander Cook might have won the vote. And of course, to make matters worse, Jada Hunter arrested Xander Cook at the hospital in front of people that either had a vote or that were very close to board members. So the board voted for EJ DiMera. The hospital got the buyout funds. And even though Philip Kiriakis didn’t press charges, Xander Cook never could get the deal undone.

Vivian Alamain: The Secret Benefactor Behind Salem University Hospital?

So, here’s why we suspect Vivian Alamain might be the source of the money behind EJ’s DiMera’s hospital buyout. First of all, Madame Vivian Alamain is loaded. Second, she had close ties to EJ DiMera through his dad, Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo). Because she gave birth to twin sons Jake DiMera (Jake Lambert) and Stefan DiMera, who are EJ’s half brothers.

Sadly, if you don’t remember, Jake DiMera died at the hands of an armed mugger in July 2022, right after he proposed to Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). And then in October 2024, Vivian Alamain had her manservant, Ivonne, kidnap her other son, Stefan DiMera, outside the DiMera mansion.

Days of our Lives: Vivian’s Part in it All

That’s because Vivian Alamain didn’t want Stefan DiMera to reunite with Gabi Hernandez (currently Cherie Jimenez). You know, Vivian Alamain thought no woman was ever good enough for her sons and definitely not Gabi Hernandez. So Vivian Alamain forged divorce papers, sent him to Gabi Hernandez, had Stefan DiMera stuffed in a trunk and forcibly deported to Alammania.

So Vivian Alamain may want the hospital to secure a future for Stefan DiMera in Salem. And the medical facility with its research lab could be very lucrative, especially once the FDA approves the life-saving sepsis drug, Versix. Plus, Vivian Alamain could be involved with the DiMera’s twisted mad scientist, Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) working on a new and improved version of the very dead patriarch Stefano DiMera.

Days of our Lives: Marlena Dreams of Stefano

So the Summer/Fall promo showed Marlena dreaming of being Stefano’s queen of the night again. And Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) told Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) she thinks Stefano DiMera is alive. She meaning Marlena. So, I would be totally down for Vivian Alamain having Ralph shove Papa Stefano’s memories into somebody else’s head, like maybe his son Stefan DiMera and him coming back all evil, like a Stefano DiMera 3.0. I think we have to count Steeno when they put Stefano’s memories into Patch as Stefano DiMera 2.0 plus.

And I mean, gosh, have there been more along the way? So many versions. But Vivian Alamain may also want revenge on her surrogate son, Philip Kiriakis, to punish him for rejecting her after she forged the documents so he could steal half Xander’s inheritance. And Philip Kiriakis didn’t give Vivian Alamain the big payout she wanted. So she might have helped fund EJ DiMera as a slap at Philip Kiriakis and his brother Xander Cook, basically so they couldn’t have the hospital just to be petty and vindictive.

Alliances and Conspiracies: Unmasking the Truth Behind the DiMera Empire

And don’t forget, Vivian Alamain was released from prison the same day EJ DiMera was shot. Now, I know some people think Vivian Alamain might have shot EJ DiMera. But I just don’t see a clear motive there. And our very reliable leaker told us Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) put a bullet into Uncle EJ DiMera. But Vivian Alamain may be conspiring with him.

You know, I could see her creeping into the hospital, talking to EJ DiMera after he woke from his coma. And Vivian Alamain might have found out the hospital was for sale, decided to throw in with EJ DiMera. Because he’s got the excuse to buy it, saying they just saved his life.

Days of our Lives: Unexpected Conspiracy

Plus, our leaker told us Vivian Alamain may be conspiring with Gwen Rizczech. That’s why she’s so hyped up about moving into the DiMera mansion. Vivian Alamain might have plotted with Gwen Rizczech while they were both in Alamania. Vivian Alamain might have gotten Gwen Rizczech to agree to monitor EJ DiMera and make sure nobody takes him down.

So, Gwen Rizczech might actually be there to protect EJ DiMera from things like Cat Greene and Rafe Hernandez and Patch trying to take him down. And our leaker said that Gwen Rizczech and Vivian Alamain would plot together. But Gwen Rizczech would be the front woman. Because Louise Sell was not available to do much filming. So, that is one more reason to suspect Vivian Alamain could be EJ’s DiMera’s silent partner. What do you guys think?

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Gabby and Ari’s Sweet Moment & Johnny’s Arrest

So on Monday, June 30th, Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) and Ari have a very nice mother-daughter moment, which is very sweet since she generally doesn’t want to give Gabby the time of day. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) discuss their worries about Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), who is started on Friday. It carries over onto Monday’s episode.

EJ insists that Johnny did not shoot him, but Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) goes ahead and she arrests Johnny anyway. Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) rushes out of Sweet Bits in time to hear from her husband Johnny that he is being arrested for EJ’s attempted murder.

Paulina’s Mayoral Powers & Rafe’s Disagreement in Days of Our Lives

So Chanel then goes running to her mama, Mayor Paulina Price (Jackee Harry), and she may be trying to push her to use her mayoral powers to get the charges dropped. Obviously, Jada got that info from Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), and I’m sure she discussed it with district attorney Belle Black (Martha Madison).

But you know, Belle has a lot of conflicts of interest since Johnny is her nephew, and she’s sleeping with his dad, the murder, attempted murder victim. So, Rafe, meanwhile, isn’t very happy with Jada.

It looks like he thinks she arrested Johnny without enough proof. He’s not her boss anymore and he shared the anonymous info, you know, about Gabi overhearing it. And that just doesn’t seem like enough to go and arrest him on Days of our Lives. So, we’ll see. Johnny looks like he’s back out. So, I don’t know if they’re forced to drop the charges or at least give him bail.

July 1st Spoilers: Mob Debt Collectors, Brady & Kristen’s Disagreement & Chanel’s Blame Game

Tuesday, July 1st, Ariana has some questions for Doug Williams (Bill Hayes). He’s obviously worried about the photos that he was mailed by the mobbed up debt collectors. I wonder if he’s gonna cut ties and dump Ari to try and protect her from the bad guys. Plus, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) disagree about Rachel Black (Alice Halsey).

They never ever agree about their daughter. And I suspect this is about Johnny, what she saw him being arrested and whether Rachel could be called in to testify because really she’s the only witness that had Johnny with the gun in his hand and EJ’s denying it.

So Chanel is bickering with EJ. Obviously, Chanel’s going to blame all the bad things that have befallen her and the man she loves, Johnny, on his awful dad, EJ, because the only reason Johnny held a gun on him was because of the whole him raping his mom, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) thing. Plus, Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) updates Tate Black (L1eo Howard).

And I wonder if it is about DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) bailing as her lawyer. And I wonder if Sophia I don’t think she knows that it was Brady that threatened her. I’m trying to remember. I don’t think she does. Maybe just Melinda backed off because Brady did threaten her, which is insane because she was the only lawyer willing to take on this case without any kind of retainer.

Days of Our Lives: Sophia’s Secret Birth & Maggie Comforts Sarah

Wednesday, July 2nd, Sophia absolutely freaks out when she goes into labor. Looks like she is alone at home and she gives birth right there in her bedroom. However, Sophia doesn’t want anybody, but especially Tate, to know that she gave birth. She doesn’t want them to see the baby until she gets the adoption sorted out because she thinks Tate’s going to back out of the adoption and that’s a problem for her.

So, it looks like Sophia may actually leave her newborn baby at the fire station because that same day, Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) heads home with a baby and he and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) are fussing over it. And I don’t know where else he would get a newborn baby, just randomly. And Javi is working at the fire station. Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) gets Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) to open up to her.

Obviously Sarah’s upset about Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and his demands to see Victoria, which of course he’s going to demand that Mama Maggie is there to comfort Sarah. She’s not happy with Xander either. Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) has an update for Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), and I wonder if it’s about the family necklace or Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) or some other issue.

Holly & Tate Reunite, Xander & Maggie Argue & Sophia Needs Help

Thursday, July 3rd. Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) is happy as she and Tate reunite romantically, but don’t forget Holly was looking at colleges overseas. So, is that still the case? Because Tate was looking at local and you know, are either of them going to notice that Sophia is, I don’t know, got a pillow under her shirt now since she’s given birth and it seems like she wants to delay people finding out.

Xander and Maggie are arguing and it’s very tense. Obviously, it’s about Victoria and Sarah. And of course, Maggie doesn’t care that Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) claims that Xander didn’t beat him. She’s quite certain he did. Everybody really knows he did it, but they can’t do anything since Philip is covering for him.

Sophia really, really needs Melinda’s help, and I think Sophia may tell her she gave birth and ditched the baby. Brady comforts Sarah, and there is more of this dynamic to come as she remains estranged from Xander.

Days of Our Lives July 4th Spoilers: EJ Supports Johnny & Belle Receives a Memory Card

Friday, July 4th is a holiday, but we’re still gonna have a brand new episode of Days of Our Lives. So, we’ve got EJ supporting Johnny and he is vowing to keep his son out of prison. But, of course, Johnny is wondering if EJ is going to do something crazy. Chanel doesn’t like this and she thinks Johnny has made a deal with the devil by bargaining with his dad.

And Chanel is really upset about Johnny and what’s happening. And her stepdad, Abe Carver (James Reynolds), is there for her. Belle Black gets the hidden cameras memory card sent to her anonymously and then she makes Paulina a promise. And I wonder if she’s vowing to make sure that Johnny won’t go down unless he’s clearly guilty.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Kristen and Brady go to Marlena

Belle needs to recuse herself because that is the son of her boyfriend and he’s accused of shooting her boyfriend. She can’t be the DA on this case. I hope they’re not going to do that. And I also am wondering who sent Belle the memory card. Was it Rachel? Was it Kristen? I mean, it doesn’t look good for Johnny since it shows him at the mansion holding the gun on his dad, even though it doesn’t show him pulling the trigger on EJ.

Kristen and Brady go to Marlena for advice about Rachel, and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) tries to talk Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) into something, and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) asks her point blank if Stephanie is the one who wrote the dirty book that Alex wants her to publish at Titan.

Days of Our Lives July 7-11: EJ’s Shooter Trial, Gwen’s Return & Sophia’s Secret

July 7th through the 11th, EJ’s shooter case is just getting started. Johnny’s going to be the first accused, but not the last. There’s going to be a a whole summer trial thing. And of course, it still looks like Rachel Black may have actually done the deed. Sami is heading for Salem soon. She needs to see Marina and offer her condolences on John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) passing.

And Sami’s also going to want to check in on Johnny about this arrest. Xander won’t back down about Victoria and Philip and Xander are busy trying to revive struggling Titan Deth. Gwen is back in Salem and it looks like she’s got money that she got from somewhere, maybe from Dimitri von Leuschner DiMera’s (Peter Porte) family and an agenda.

According to our leaker, Gwen is excited to hear that Xander’s marriage is crushed and she wants another shot at Xander, but it’s probably not going to work out that way. And there’s something that happened while she was away that put her in an unusual position. We’re also going to have fallout from Sophia’s decision to hide that she gave birth. Doug’s debt collectors are not going to give up either.

Days of Our Lives sees it has been a really twisted week with little Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) seeming so tormented. But is she really tormented, or is Rachel the one who’s doing the tormenting? Because it looks like she’s playing twisted games to get payback on her uncle EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).

And while Rachel seems so tragically haunted, looks may be deceiving. We had a leak so juicy that the Day’s press office actually hammered me about it, and now it’s all unfolding just like my leaker said. So EJ better watch his back because it is getting real.

Days of Our Lives: The Rachel Black Shooting Leak and Press Office Backlash

So, it was back in early February that I first revealed I got a leak that Rachel was the one who shot EJ And the Day’s press office, who actually only work Monday through Friday, emailed me upset on a weekend, which was kind of interesting.

They weren’t happy and, by the way, banned me from future Days events. So, basically, I got blackballed for doing what journalists do, reporting on scoops and inside info and leaks. That’s what journalists do. But at any rate, I’m not going to stop doing it because I’m a journalist.

So, if they hadn’t said anything to me when I published that Rachel leak, I might have thought, you know see how it goes. But after the reaction from the press office, you know, of course, I thought, huh, well, I think this leak’s pretty legit about Rachel shooting EJ. And now, months later, things keep unfolding and events are starting to move faster. And I’m more certain that my leaker was right on the mark about rotten little Rachel and her revenge plan.

Rachel Black’s Devious Behavior: Threatening Texts and a History of Revenge

So, we all saw Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) daughter acting strangely at her birthday party and we’ve seen Rachel kind of struggling with anxiety. She’s been getting sick to her stomach. But at the same time, we all know that the little Rachel is psychotically devious. I mean, she is Kristen’s daughter for real. Do you remember those threatening texts that she was sending Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) to get her out of Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) life? You know, unhinged stuff.

And if you remember, EJ snatched Rachel sent her away to keep her from testifying against him about Rafe Hernandez‘s (Galen Gering) kidnapping. So EJ exiling Granny Rachel Blake (Roslyn Gentle), likely infuriated little Rachel, and then EJ got shot. And that wasn’t long after Kristen begged him to give back her mom, Rachel. Of course, EJ refused because they were betraying him and planning to send him to prison. And you know, DiMera’s do each other dirty, but they’re supposed to be loyal to each other.

Days of Our Lives: Johnny’s Confession and the Missing Bullet Mystery

And then, you know, fast forward a couple of episodes ago, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) saw Rachel saying, “Don’t shoot him,” during a nightmare when she was napping on the sofa and the little girl confessed to Marlena she saw Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) pull a gun on EJ.

And yeah, I’m sure Rachel did see that because it did happen. But the question is, was Rachel having a nightmare or was she faking sleep so that she could say what she said knowing that Marlena would ask about it? And of course, she did ask and Rachel confessed her dream to Marlena.

Days of Our Lives: Johnny’s Confession Chaos

And then Doc trotted over to see her ex-husband Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) about their grandson. Of course, they’re worried. Johnny shot EJ and left him for dead. But when Marlena and Roman confronted him, you know, for me, Johnny’s confession seemed sincere and his grandparents also seemed to believe him. So Johnny told Roman that yeah, he took the gun from the lock box behind the bar and went to confront EJ.

And then Roman said he found the weapon stuck in a planter outside and that’s where things were getting hanky because Johnny didn’t stick it there. He left the gun in the living room where he had confronted EJ finger on the trigger but then couldn’t shoot him. Laid down the gun left.

Sticking it in a planter though is something you know like a little kid might do. H think about that. So Johnny told Roman and Marlena he didn’t fire the gun and they believe him and they’re wondering who did fire the gun because Roman said one bullet is missing.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Johnny’s Arrest and EJ’s Memory Loss

Later this week, Johnny and his dad are both shocked when Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) arrests Johnny for shooting EJ. So the police commissioner herself slaps cuffs on him. And by the way, EJ does not remember Johnny pulling the trigger, just that he held the gun on him. So, his memories are not all back from that night.

And at this point, I also suspect EJ has not watched all of the video on that memory card that he just showed Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis). You know, maybe EJ couldn’t bear to see Johnny hating him so much that he pulled the trigger.

So, I’m left wondering, how does Jada get the info to arrest Johnny. You know, maybe somebody was eavesdropping, or Rachel could tell Kristen or Brady about it. And I don’t know if that would do it because Kristen and Brady both know. So, at this point, I also don’t think Rachel’s actively trying to punish Johnny.

If anything, she’s trying to punish EJ. And if our leaker is correct, and I feel strongly they are again because of the press office incident, then you know Rachel did shoot EJ out of anger. I believe that part was a crime of passion. Some sort of momentary insanity, just this flash of anger. But what’s happening now with Johnny’s arrest, that’s something else entirely.

Days of Our Lives: Rachel’s Revenge or PTSD?

So this could go one of two ways. So, because EJ survived, maybe Rachel decided she needs to punish EJ another way since he took someone that Rachel loves, her crazy grandma Rachel. You know, maybe Rachel is going to take someone that EJ loves, his son Johnny.

Since EJ sent Rachel Blake away, little Rachel may think sending Johnny away to prison is a tit for tat fair exchange. However, it may not be that simple. So maybe the shooting was a momentary mental break and then things have gotten worse in her head. What’s happening now could be PTSD and fragmented memories in young Rachel’s mind.

Days of Our Lives: Rachel’s Mental Meltdown?

So of course we’ve got questions. First, is Kristen’s daughter evil enough to carry out this plot? Or has she just blanked out on what she did that night? And the trauma of shooting EJ has just broken her little brain. you know, maybe Rachel shot her uncle EJ and the stress just fritzed it all out. It was overload. She doesn’t remember it, you know, and so Rachel may only remember seeing Johnny with the gun that night and not what she herself did.

I mean, it’s scary to think Rachel intentionally shot EJ and trying to kill him and then deliberately framed Johnny. You know it’s funny. My husband doesn’t get scared when we watch horror movies. Unless it’s an evil kid like that movie Bad Seed or the little undead toddler in Pet Cemetery. Those always terrify him. So, is Rachel just as wicked and devious as her mom Kristen. Or she just kind of messed up and is a little kid suffering a mental health crisis? You know, maybe she legit thinks Johnny shot his father.

Days of Our Lives: EJ’s Quest for Answers and Kristen’s Fate

So, another question is this. Uh, how is EJ going to get the answers he needs? He does actually think Johnny shot him, but I suspect either Johnny or Marlena assure him that no, that’s not what happened. You know, EJ may go back and look at the whole contents of the memory card.

EJ could go to Marlena to hypnotize him to help recover his memories. The memory card is a better option because that’s actual evidence that could be submitted in court. So, also we have this behind the-scenes photo that kind of accidentally leaked Kristen’s fate. If you look at that, and this is from, I think, I don’t know, like 7 months ago.

It was back when Thaao Penghlis came back to film more scenes. And of course, he’s back on the air now. So, if you look at all their outfits, that is clearly Kristen in Salem, Statesville, prison blues, no makeup on, looking very plain like she does when she’s incarcerated.

Days of Our Lives: EJ Finds Out?

So, I suspect EJ finds out Rachel shot him. And he, of course, is not going to let Johnny go to prison. He may try and talk Belle Black (Martha Madison) out of prosecuting, and that doesn’t work. And then he watches all the video after Johnny insists he didn’t shoot him.

Then EJ goes to Kristen and is like, “Look, I’ve got video of your daughter shooting me. You know, “,That little psycho is going to juvie and I’m saving my son.” And I can see Kristen saying, “Don’t do it. I’ll confess to the crimes. Send me to prison instead. I’ll make sure Rachel gets intensive psychotherapy. Brady will arrange it, but don’t put my daughter behind bars, you know.” And Kristen still has some leverage against EJ in the kidnapping and other bad deeds he’s done.

So, I think he might be inclined to take that deal because the idea of putting his little niece in prison might be hard for him to swallow. And Kristen yeah, I think she would definitely sacrifice herself for Rachel. We’ll see how it goes. But my biggest question overall is whether Kristen’s daughter cooked up a scheme and is gaslighting all the adults around her, which is twisted and terrifying and also very interesting, or is Rachel simply a little girl haunted by guilt and trauma over a bad thing she did in the spur of the moment.
