Days of Our Lives sees Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) wakes up in bed with Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) this week. But do they really go all the way with each other? Do they really do the deed, or is Gabi just going to let Philip think that they do?

Days of Our Lives: Gabi Hernandez Teams Up with Tony DiMera

It’s been a few weeks since Gabi decided to accept an offer to team up with Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis). He and Gabi are scheming to reclaim DiMera Enterprises and get it away from Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Philip. We’ve already seen fashionista Gabi trying to weasel her way into Xander’s good graces. And now Gabi is making moves on Philip.

But when Gabi spoke to him the other day, Philip seemed very skeptical of Gabi just suddenly being nice to him. So the question is, can Philip stay one step ahead of the very motivated Miss Gabi Hernandez? I kind of don’t think so. Philip should absolutely be on high alert where Gabi is concerned, especially when she’s being nice.

Gabi’s Deceptive Charm: Targeting Xander and Philip Kiriakis

Recently, Gabi cozied up to Xander. First, she was helping him calm down a fussy Victoria in his Titan office, which turned into daddy daycare. Then, Xander was Gabi’s strong shoulder to lean on when her daughter Arianna Horton (Marissa Reyes) briefly went missing, thanks to the thugs that were chasing Doug III.

But Gabi may have pushed things too far when she grabbed Xander for a kiss at the bistro right when his estranged wife, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), walked in the door with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). Of course, Sarah was annoyed and announced that two could play that game, kissing Brady to make Xander jealous. And boy, was he!

Chaos at the Bistro on DOOL

All heck broke loose. And Gabi and Xander are now banned from the fancy bistro after he nearly punched Brady. Later, Philip was grilling Gabi about the incident. Of course, Salem’s a small town; word gets around. And that left Philip very suspicious of Gabi’ sudden interest in having a business dinner with him.

But she’s quick on her feet. And Gabi insisted that she and Xander are just good friends, so Gabi covered very smoothly. In the end, Philip agreed to go out to eat with Gabi just as an old friend. But Philip is very much right to be suspicious. Gabi’s only interest right now is to drive Philip and Xander further apart as part of her and Tony’s big plan to get DiMera away from Titan Industries.

Uncovering Secrets: Gabi’s Investigation into the Titan-DiMera Merger

Philip doesn’t know it yet. But he may be in serious trouble. Because Gabi has hired Black Patch to investigate the Titan-DiMera merger. Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) is digging into a lot of things, including the court case when Philip sued Xander for Titan Industries and said that his late father, their late father, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), wanted him to have it.

Remember, Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) had forged that letter. And it all came out later. But now Xander can’t do anything about it, or else it’s going to mess up the merger. So, what this means is Gabi and Steve could find out soon about Philip’s forgery scheme, and that could be very troublesome.

Did They or Didn’t They? Gabi and Philip’s Bedroom Mystery

In the meantime, Gabi may be working another angle. Because this week the promo shows Gabi and Philip hitting the sheets. Or do they? Actually, to be more specific, what the promo shows is Gabi waking up in bed next to Philip. And they seem to be completely undressed. It’s kind of like, “Oh, hey, you’re in bed with me.

Yeah, I’m in bed with you.” So, maybe Gabi and Philip do the deed. Or maybe Gabi just wants Philip to think that they did as part of the plot to mess with Titan. Our leaker, who’s very reliable, mentioned that despite the way the promo looks, there’s a chance that Gabi did not have sexy time with Philip.

Just because they woke up in bed together does not mean that those two people had any nookie. But Gabi may let Philip think they slept together to further her agenda with Tony and to make things worse between him and Xander. So, poor Philip may think his dry streak with women ended when he wakes up next to sexy Gabi, only to find out, nope, still dry.

Love Triangle Trouble: Philip, Gabi, and Belle – Complicated Romance

This scenario with Gabi even if it’s fake, could cause a lot of confusion for Philip and a lot of trouble. This week’s Days of Our Lives spoilers also show Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Philip getting flirty and spending a day playing hooky and having fun together. Belle and the Kiriakis bad boy have a long history together.

This new thing with Gabi on Days of our Lives, whether it’s real or not, could cause some hurt feelings if Philip isn’t careful. It looks like he’s hanging out with Belle and then later that night, or maybe the next night, is when Philip is in bed with Gabi.

If she lets it slip, accidentally or on purpose, to Belle that she spent the night with Philip, Belle might be upset with him for hanging out with her all day and then going and getting naked with Gabi. So, if it is just a big fake out, I wonder how long Philip will be fooled into thinking he and Gabi were intimate.

The Future of “Phabby”: Love, Lies, and Corporate Control on Days of Our Lives

Our leaker also told us that Philip and Gabi are eventually going to fall in love with each other sometime later this fall. With Philip and Gabi you never know, a romance may just work out. They’re both family-oriented and goal-driven. Plus, Philip and Gabi have checkered pasts; they understand each other on that level. Because they’re both schemers.

However, Philip may feel pretty stupid if he falls for Gabi’s lies. Philip could be irritated if Gabi makes up a big story about their wild night in bed, especially if Philip actually has a shot with Belle and that ruins it. Philip was kind of already savvy to Gabi’s shenanigans when he was talking to her about her and his brother Xander. 

Gabi Fools Phillip on Days of our Lives?

The thing is, Gabi could absolutely fool Philip long enough for her and Tony to swipe DiMera and get Gabi Chic out from under Titan’s control. That’s the plan. At any rate, if that happens and Philip finds out Gabi lied to him about their supposed intimacy and that Gabi used him, Philip may be hurt. He may be confused.

At the same time, he may actually admire that Gabi was able to pull it off. Philip is quite the schemer himself, so he would at least have to appreciate it on a professional level, from one part-time con artist to another. Gabi is going to need to play this game with Philip very strategically if she wants to get DiMera away from Titan so that she can be DiMera Enterprises’ new CEO.

In the end, Gabi may have to choose between love and money. She may have to choose between business and pleasure because if the leaker is right and Gabi and Philip catch true feelings for each other, then she may not get away with everything. And she may have some very tough choices to make. So, do you think Gabi is going to fake it to make it, or is she really getting intimate with Philip this week?

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Victoria’s Fussy Day and a Potential Deal

All right, getting started. On Wednesday, July 16th, little Victoria is fussy at the office. Xander Cook‘s (Paul Telfer) multitasking, taking a very important phone call while rocking her stroller back and forth, but she is not having it. This is not where she’s used to being. And Gabi may actually help out because she shows up to talk Gabi Chic to Xander while she’s up at the office and she loves little babies.

EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) may strike a deal about her moving into the mansion. After all, you know, they are related through marriage. Dimitri von Leuschner DiMera (Peter Porte) is EJ’s nephew, right? Because his mom Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) is EJ’s sister. I’m doing the family tree while I’m sitting here making sure I have the math correct.

Intrigue and Investigation: Rafe’s Suspicions and Stephanie’s Surprise

Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) meet at his office to look into EJ’s finances using ISA and FBI resources. He gives Cat an earful about EJ’s very colorful past. I mean, Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) already told her a little, but Rafe is going to tell her a lot. Meanwhile, after this talk with Cat, we have Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) heading home.

He runs into Gabi who says Ari Hernandez (Marissa Reyes) left for the senior lake trip, and uh-oh, she’s going to find out very soon that Ari didn’t make it there. Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) gets a surprise from Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson). He had her book published, it looks like, electronically. He’s showing her the ebook cover.

Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) gets a peep at it, too, but she doesn’t know it’s Stephanie that wrote it. And obviously, she’s going to freak out when she finds out her mom and dad were doing sexy things from the pages of her book. That is just so gross to me. I don’t even know why Days of our Lives is doing that. That just gives me the ick so bad to think about just writing sexy stuff and your parents acting it out. Like that’s just gross.

Anyway, Thomas DiMera (Christopher Cary) asks Cat if she will play ball with him and his dad Chad in the park, but Cat probably knows or is assuming that Chad doesn’t want her there. So, it’s like, oh, you know, should she stay? Should she go?

Jurors, Lies, and Kidnappings: The Drama Intensifies on Days of Our Lives

Thursday, July 17th. Belle Black (Martha Madison) and EJ are choosing jurors for Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) attempted murder trial. Now, they both think he’s innocent, but Belle is mad because she thinks EJ was getting sexy with her to get her to drop the charges. I don’t think so – I think EJ was getting sexy with her because he wanted to get sexy with her.

I think he made her the eggs benedict to try and get her to drop the charges and it didn’t work. But Belle’s cooled off since then, and she makes a suggestion to EJ when he says he wishes he could remember the shooting so he could find the real shooter and exonerate Johnny. So, I’m wondering if Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall is going to hypnotize him.

Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) and her fake belly continue to lie to her mother Amy Choi (Shi Ne Neilson) about being pregnant and pushing forward with adoption plans. She’s getting ready to make a trip out of town with Melinda to try and wrap this up and tie off the loose ends. The kidnapper is really scaring Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Ari. They need to remain calm and use their heads to stay safe.

Meanwhile, Tate Black (Leo Howard) and Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) get into a physical altercation over the girls. Doug insists he doesn’t know where Holly is, but Tate thinks he might know. So Doug absolutely knows who has them. He just doesn’t know where he has them. And Doug is going to try again to get into Gwen’s room this week. He’s desperate to get the necklace, but she seems to keep it on her and she may be moving out soon. So we’ll see if he gets it away from her.

Missing Girls, Awkward Encounters, and a Chickening Out: Days of Our Lives Cliffhangers

On Friday, July 18th, Gabi gets some much-needed comfort from Xander after she finds out Ari is missing. Our leaker says, “Don’t read too much into Gabi and Xander that there’s not going to be real sparks there. She is headed in Philip Kiriakis’ (John-Paul Lavoisier) direction instead.”

Chad and Cat are feeling even more awkward. Is this still about the Thomas incident, or is Cat feeling a little more awkward because she’s investigating Chad’s brother, EJ. She really can’t tell him, right, because it’s ISA business. And the search gets underway to find Ari and Holly. Hopefully they’ll get there in time. Their lives are at stake. Rafe pitches in and he’s with Doug and Tate as they start looking for the girls. So maybe Rafe arrests the mustachioed kidnapper soon.

And on Friday, Sophia is chickening out of the plan. She may be losing her nerve and doesn’t want to go to Chicago with Melinda to do the fake adoption thing, but I think Melinda may talk Sophia into sticking to the plan because of what happens soon with Tate.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Kidnapping Aftermath, Trial Turmoil, and Corporate Coups

The week of July 21st through the 25th. I’m wondering if Doug comes out of this kidnapping unscathed. I mean, there’s really unless he’s caught stealing the necklace, there’s nothing to get him arrested. It’s not his fault that bad men are pressuring him. You know, he paid off the original debt and then they came back with extra interest. That’s what lone sharks do. And Doug was really trying to protect Ari and Holly. He wasn’t doing anything bad to them. He was just trying to stop the trouble. But now that the girls have talked to each other, I do think Doug may be out a friend in Holly and out a girlfriend in Ari.

Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) back soon to support Johnny during the trial and she needs to see Marlena as soon as possible because they never got to grieve John Black (Drake Hogestyn) together. And Hurricane Sami probably is not going to be good for Bell and EJ’s relationship. She may be livid that her little sister is still with EJ after she basically warned her off while he was shot and in a coma. Kristen is stressed out about Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) having to testify in court.

She’s not happy that EJ was suggesting that Rachel could be manipulated to change her testimony about what she saw going on between Johnny and EJ DiMera. Kristen was definitely hoping she wouldn’t have to bring her daughter to the courthouse, but she is going to have to go on the stand and that means Belle Black is going to have to grill her niece Rachel. I’m sure she will do it as gently as possible, but she has to ask tough questions about the night Uncle EJ DiMera was shot.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Tony and Gabi Plot

Tony and Gabi start cooking up plans for their corporate coup to take back DiMera Enterprises and get it away from Philip and Xander. Gabi has a lot of info to give Tony about Xander and Philip. And it looks like they’re going to try and pit the brothers against each other when honestly they really are already pitted against each other. But at some point soon, Xander and Philip are going to find a path forward.

Sophia is soon going to tell Tate that she gave birth to a baby girl, and the adoptive parents took the little girl straight from the hospital. Obviously, Sophia’s going to stun Tate when she tells him this because he really wanted to meet the baby before the adoption happened.

A custody battle continues to loom unless Sarah and Xander can find a way forward. Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) love little baby Toro, and I’m wondering if they’re going to try and keep him. Gwen under the same roof as Kristen and EJ DiMera could be calamitous. And on the stand as the trial kicks off, we’re going to see not only Rachel), but also Marlena and Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) all on the stand, among others.

Days of Our Lives sees Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) and Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) are just about to launch a big plan to take back the family business. And it all centers on a honeypot scheme.

And if you don’t know what that is, I’m going to lay it out for you while I give you these spoilers. We’re going to talk about why Gabi and Tony are the best ones to get DiMera Enterprises out of Kiriakis’ hands.

Days of Our Lives: Gabi’s Risky Plan to Reclaim Gabi Chic

So, if you have been keeping up with today’s episodes. And I know some of you do and some of you don’t, you just listen here, which thank you. You know by now that Gabi is super stressed out that Gabi Chic is under the Titan umbrella of companies and that she is under Xander (Paul Telfer) and Philip Kiriakis’ (John-Paul Lavoisier) thumb.

She has tried several things to wiggle her fashion and lifestyle brand away from Xander and Philip, but nothing works so far. She talked to Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson). She’s talked to Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). She’s tried different things.

Tony DiMera’s Strategy: Saving DiMera Enterprises from Chaos

And you might have seen that Tony really wants to get control of his father’s legacy back away from the Kiriakis’. But at the same time, I think that he’s unsure that his brother EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is the best one to involve in this because Tony wants the family business to be legit.

And EJ wants it to be business as usual but with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) as CEO. And we know business as usual is dodgy. So, right now, while EJ is distracted, manipulating Belle Black (Martha Madison) with edited video footage and getting Johnny off on murder charges by any means necessary, I think Tony is going to take a totally different approach to saving DiMera Enterprises while EJ is busy elsewhere.

Fighting Fire with Arson: Gabi and Tony’s Explosive Strategy

So, in the summer promo, Gabi and Tony are talking at the DiMera mansion. And she talks about fighting fire with fire, which is of course an age-old cliche. But then Tony flips it on the ear and tells Gabi, “No, they’re gonna fight fire with arson.” As in, Tony wants him and Gabi to burn down the Kiriakis’. Not fighting fire with fire. He wants to put accelerant on it and just really blow it up.

Targeting the Kiriakis Brothers: Xander and Philip in the Crosshairs on Days of our Lives

So, specifically, Tony is cooking up a scheme with Gabi to target the Kiriakis’ brothers, Xander and Philip. Those two have already had a lot of problems already because Xander found out Philip lied and stole part of his inheritance and then Xander beat him almost to death and then Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) dumped Xander and he was arrested and he was released because Philip is covering for him.

So honestly it’s a total chaotic mess at the house of Kiriakis’ and Philip and Xander are still at odds but they are determined to make a success of Titan DiMera but they’re at each other’s throats. It’s just very problematic.

Gabi’s Honeypot Scheme: Seducing Xander and Philip on Days of our Lives

It looks like Gabi is going to try to take everything away from them. She is going to go all in on Tony’s plan and she is toying with Hunky Philip and Hunky Xander to ruin them, possibly ruin their lives to get her fashion brand back under her own control and help Tony get DiMera back.

So Gabi is soon locking lips with both Xander and Philip. She’s going to be pitting one brother against the other. That’s all part of her and Tony’s game plan. The brothers are already shaky and then Tony’s got Gabi as his secret sexy weapon.

Titan DiMera’s Fragile State: Blackmail and Tension

Xander and Philip used EJ shooting if you don’t remember and Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) issues keeping control of the company and her own sketchy background to convince Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) on the board that he should let Titan Industries take over DiMera. And that included its subsidiary Gabi Chic.

They gave him a big incentive, but now Li Shin is a little worried. Things haven’t been great at Titan DiMera. Not since Xander kicked Philip’s butt and almost killed him. And now Xander and Philip are kind of mutually blackmailing each other. So things are fragile. Alex is feeling the tension. Johnny is feeling it as the newest employee. As I said, it’s a big mess.

Tony’s Vision: Rehabilitating the DiMera Legacy

But now we’ve got Tony back in Salem with a more level head. still a devious DiMera, but he is trying to do the right thing by the family. He wants what rightfully belongs to the DiMeras. Now, Tony doesn’t love that DiMera Enterprises was a front for a bunch of criminal activities over the years.

You know, their dad, the late great nefarious Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) was a villain. He was a criminal. So, Tony wants it back, but he wants to rehab that image. So, I’m curious to see if Gabi drops by to conspire with Tony or he invites Gabi over to test the waters. Tony may have heard that Gabi’s very dissatisfied with what went down and thinks that she might be the person to help him defeat Xander and Philip.

Decoding the Promo: Gabi’s Kisses and Sarah’s Reaction

So Tony and Gabi plan to pour gasoline on the dumpster fire that these siblings have going, you know. And we actually had to pause and look at the new big super promo about four times to see Philip with Gabi because they were in this little horizontal bar and they were getting horizontal, but it was you had to kind of pause it to look at the cheekbones because Philip and Xander both have these very dramatic cheekbones and you know they don’t look a lot alike but when you’re looking at them in profile So, we ran that back several times.

We’re like, “Okay, yeah, it’s both brothers.” And looks like with Philip, she may be doing more than just locking lips. As for Gabi and Xander, they’re at the bistro. Gabi pulls him in for a kiss right in front of Sarah and Brady. And I am curious to find out if Gabi knew that Sarah and Brady were going to be there and she sat this up on purpose on Days of our Lives.

Sarah sees Xander kissing Gabi and then Sarah decides to smooch Brady in front of Xander who then decides to punch Brady. Clearly that Titan HR anger management course isn’t having the intended effect. Or maybe Xander ditched and never went even though Philip told him to go get some help with his anger issues.

Honeypot Dynamics: Will Philip Fall for Gabi?

And some days fans are actually wondering if Philip and Gabi are going to fall for each other during the honeypot plot. And if you’ve not heard that phrase before, a honeypot, sometimes it’s also called a honey trap. It’s usually in like secret agents, spy films, and real life as well. It’s when a usually a female agent is working undercover using sex or romance to compromise the person or persons they’re targeting to take them down or get information out of them or, you know, weaken them in some way.

So, I do think Philip is far more likely to fall for a honeypot than Xander because Sarah still has Xander’s heart. But Philip is single. He’s never dated Gabi before and she’s undeniably gorgeous. And she dumped Jack Junior (JJ) Deveraux after he accused her of shooting EJ, although JJ had good reason.

So, she’s single, too. And in the end, Gabi and Tony could win back DiMera, but Philip could win the girl. However, if he finds out Gabi was honey trapping him, he might be angry. Maybe, you know, then again, Philip’s a schemer, too. So, I don’t know if he would actually hold it against her at all or for too long. He might just be too happy to have a a woman in his life like her.

Days of our Lives The Ultimate Showdown – DiMera vs. Kiriakis

So, needless to say, I don’t know about you guys, but I’m super stoked to see Gabi and Tony fight fire with arson and pit Xander and Philip against each other. We’re going to see if the brothers win or if the ex-in-laws are going to pull off a big scheme, rip apart this Titan DiMera merger and bring DiMera back home to the family.

Days of Our Lives Summer Promo: A Sneak Peek into Salem’s Hottest Storylines

So, Days released a brand new summer promo. It actually has some scenes going all the way into Halloween, interestingly, and it’s everything that you need to know about what awesome summer story lines are coming. We’re going to drop all that for you, give you all the pictures, everything you need to know.

So, I’ll say up front, this is a real treat because this promo is almost as good as the annual Day of Days mega promo they put out every October. There’s a lot to unpack. A few things we saw recently, but most of it is material coming this week later into July into the heat of summer as we get closer to the 60th anniversary of Days of Our Lives in November.

Shocking Revelations: Sophia’s Secret, a Fire Station Baby, and a Web of Lies

So, the promo has Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) going into labor all by herself, that happens this week. She tells the baby, looks like it’s a girl, that she can’t let anyone see her. And then Tate Black (Leo Howard) is asking Sophia “Where’s their baby?” Cuz she’s obviously given birth. And she says, “The adoptive parents were with me when I gave birth, and they wanted to take her home right away.”

Poor Tate is shocked and confused. And of course, Sophia is lying through her teeth. Cut to Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) in his firefighter EMS uniform talking with Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) up at the hospital. Javi says the baby was dropped in the safe haven box at the fire station.

Days of Our Lives: Sophia’s Love Means More?

So Sophia gave birth and dumped the baby because she was worried Tate was going to not go through with the adoption plans and she didn’t have a lawyer because Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) threatened Melinda Trask (Tina Huang). It was a big mess. So Javi takes the baby home to Casa Hernandez and he and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) read a letter that Sophia left with the baby. It was unsigned, of course, saying how giving her up was very difficult, but was done out of love.

The EJ Shooting Mystery: Johnny’s Arrest, Rachel’s Secret, and a Mother’s Dream

Next, we’re going to get into the EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) shooting, attempted murder mystery portion of the promo. EJ and Belle Black (Martha Madison) are in court. The theme is the truth is in ashes, although we saw it happen already this week. We’ve got Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) being arrested by Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) and getting his mug shot done in the promo.

And then Belle is going to be prosecuting the case, which is kind of awkward since the accused shooter, Johnny, is her nephew and the son of her boyfriend. We’ll see if she and EJ split over this or not.

In court, Mayor Paulina Price (Jackee Harry), testifies that her son-in-law, Johnny, said his father got what he deserved. That is what he said. So, we all know though that EJ wasn’t shot by Johnny. The real wpukd be killer is likely little Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) and she’s in the promo as well. Leo tells Javi that somebody bribed him.

Days of Our Lives: Rachel Blocking Out the Trauma?

So maybe EJ is paying Leo to write an article in the spectator shedding doubt on the case against Johnny, which is just a lot of circumstantial evidence. Although Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) did turn the gun over this week, so we’ll see what ballistics say. And obviously Johnny’s prints are going to be on the gun.

So, the promo has EJ telling the judge that Belle has a major conflict of interest, but obviously she’s still going to get to try the case. There’s a split-second scene of EJ and Belle locking lips before we see Rachel on the stand and Belle asking her, “What happened next?” Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) also has to deal with stress from her daughter when Rachel asks Kristen “What if Johnny goes to prison because of me?”

There’s a scene that’s a little blurry. It’s a flashback of the night EJ DiMera was shot and Rachel was standing in the door peeking into the DiMera living room. So, it looks like we are going to get to finally see her memory of watching Johnny and EJ fighting. Our leaker insists that Rachel shot her uncle, but doesn’t remember it. So, Grandma Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) may get more info from Rachel through hypnosis because in the promo, Belle realizes her mom knows who shot EJ.

Days of Our Lives: Marlena’s Health Crisis

Speaking of Marlena, she passes out in court. She’s leaning on Abe Carver (James Reynolds). Belle rushes over trying to revive her mom as Johnny and EJ look on. Later, Marlena is at the hospital. Everybody’s worried. Marlena had a dream about being Stefano DiMera‘s (Joseph Mascolo) queen of the night. Talk about a blast from the past. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) tells Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord), “There’s a reason Stefano is known as the Phoenix.”

And Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) tells Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) she claims your father is alive and he’s kind of chuckling. So maybe they’re talking about Malrena. Sounds like the grief is really getting to Doc since Stefano is definitely dead – at least as Joseph Mascolo is definitely dead.

Corporate Battles, Conspiracies, and the Return of Gwen Rizczech

Then we’ve got Xander and Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) in a plotline about Empire’s combusting. Brady tells Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) that he spent most of his adult life vying for the top spot and says we all have. Obviously that’s the CEO job at Titan.

Also, Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) questions her dad Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) about him investigating DiMera and EJ orders someone, looks like Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and says find out what he knows and stop him. So, she is back on July 7th and it looks like EJ and Gwen may be co-conspirators which is exciting.

Days of Our Lives: Cat Greene’s Mission

Next, Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) meets with ISA director Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy). This is actually the scene we already saw from not long after John Black‘s (Drake Hogestyn) funeral when Cat was asking why Shane needs her back as an analyst. And remember, he told Cat to find out where EJ got the funds to buy the hospital. Rafe has her FBI contact on the case.

So, Alex questions Xander about some files and if they’ll cause trouble. Alex is grilling him. Xander looks troubled and Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) rants at Xander saying she will stop him. Maggie says she owes it to her family and Victor Kiriakis‘ (John Aniston) memory.

Revenge, Hookups, and Kidnappings: Salem’s Summer of Scandals

We’ve got Gabi and Tony plotting at Casa DiMera. And this is leading up to the Xander and Gabi hookup situation. Gabi tells Tony, “We fight fire with fire.” But Tony says, “No, we fight fire with arson.”

And we’ve got Mike Horton back as Jennifer Horton (Cady McClain) is announcing the opening of the Dr. Tom Horton (Zach Chyz) free clinic. And Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) reminds Maggie once a Horton, always a Horton. And then we see Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) is back in Salem. Hurricane Sami has got a scene with her ex, EJ, and then she is all weepy as she reunites with her grieving mother Marlena. Also, Sami’s hanging out with her brother Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and asks where does the time go.

Days of Our Lives: Steamy Hookup Ahead

Okay, now back to some juicy stuff with the hookup I mentioned earlier. There’s a quick shot of Gabi kissing Xander and it looks like they are horizontal which is a definite sign of a steamy hookup and this could be the arson that Tony wants Gabi Hernandez to engage in to blow up Titan. Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Tate are kissing in the square. They reconcile this week as Sophia tells Ari nothing turned out like she thought it would.

Sophia is doing something bad to Holly while she’s sleeping. She’s kind of half undressing her and Sophia is snapping pics of Holly Jonas in her lace bra. Ari advises Sophia to move on with her life, but it looks like she may do something bad instead. All right, back to steamy.

Brady and Sarah walk into the bistro and see Gabi kissing Xander. Sarah flies into a rage and tells Xander he can spend his time doing whatever he wants. But then Sarah kisses Brady and it looks like Xander can’t handle that. He lunges at Brady, looks like he’s trying to punch him in the face.

Days of Our Lives: Tony & Gabi’s Arson Plot

So, this arson plan of Gabi and Tony seems to be scorching the Kiriakis family. Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) kisses Cat and Johnny and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) kiss. She is standing by her man despite the criminal charges. Alex Kiriakis tells Stephanie he loves her.

That looks like it’s going to be July 4th because there are literal fireworks. Things take a turn for the dangerous as Gabi tells Javi that Ari is missing. She’s been kidnapped along with Holly by a masked man. No doubt that’s about Doug III and his debt because Tate confronts Doug III demanding he tell him everything he knows.

Halloween Horror: A Glimpse into Salem’s Spooky Future

We’ve also got a quick shot of Halloween action. So some of this promo is tiptoeing into fall. Alex screams look out and pushes Chad and Cat who is in a Halloween costume out of the way of a psycho waving a butcher knife in Hortontown Square.

If this is from the Halloween episode and days sticks to its tradition, this would be killer with the knife could slaughter all of Salem, including Alex, Cat, and Chad, and anybody else. But, it wouldn’t really happen and just would be someone’s nightmare.
