This is because she recently shared an intimate night with her new flame, Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson), not long after a passionate encounter with her husband, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), following a period of marital dryness. The latest General Hospital promo, which you may have seen, showed a blurred figure holding a positive pregnancy test. Official spoilers corroborate this, stating that Portia receives life-changing news this Thursday. This leak aligns seamlessly with the unfolding episodes.

Timing is Everything: A Marriage on the Brink

The timing of this news couldn’t be worse. Curtis recently provided Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) with his alibi for the night of Drew’s shooting, which included time spent with his ex, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper). This led Portia to believe Curtis had made his choice, seemingly favoring Jordan, and causing her to declare their marriage over.

If she’s six weeks along, Curtis is the more probable father. However, if she’s only a few weeks pregnant, it’s anyone’s guess whether Isaiah or Curtis is the father.

Unraveling the Truth: DNA and Deception

If the conception timeline is indeed muddled, a DNA test will be the only way for Portia to know for sure. This could become complicated, especially with Jordan waiting in the wings to reconcile with Curtis. Curtis would likely be furious with Portia for her infidelity with Isaiah during their marriage, especially while she was accusing him of pursuing Jordan. Once Portia confirms her pregnancy with a positive test, she’ll need to act quickly. She’ll face significant explanations for both Isaiah and Curtis, though likely less so for Isaiah.

It’s hard to imagine Trina explaining to her mother, “Oh, Kai and I just happened to be at Drew’s house during the shooting, and we took it.” Until Trina reveals the truth, Portia will remain anxious about the potential loss of her medical license and possible imprisonment.

Adding to her turmoil, her marriage to Curtis is effectively over, and he’s a suspect in Drew’s shooting. Portia’s life is in disarray, and a pregnancy, as the leaker suggests, will only amplify the chaos.

A New Beginning or a Complicated Future?

Then there’s Isaiah, who appears smitten with Portia. However, they weren’t officially dating and aren’t in a position to start a family yet. But who knows? Her death hits Jason and Tracy the hardest. Those two and all the Quartermains and the extended family and friends are all going to be absolutely heartbroken and devastated, as are fans.

Danny finding Monica is just one part of the leak. The source also says that we are going to see Dr Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), Dr Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), and Dr Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) all representing General Hospital at the funeral.

It’s going to be Monica’s son, Jason who reportedly delivers the eulogy at her memorial service, according to the leak. I’m sure other family members will want to speak: Tracy, Ned, and others.

One strange part of the leak that seems off to me says that Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) may speak as well. That would be a very strange choice given their past animosity over AJ Quartermaine (Sean Kanan). So, we’ll have to wait and see.

Jason’s Eulogy – Will Drew Crash Monica’s Funeral on General Hospital?

In terms of the leak about Jason delivering the eulogy for his adoptive mom, that makes a lot of sense. He’d been estranged from his mom and from the other Quartermaines for so long.

From the time that he had that traumatic brain injury when AJ injured him when he was driving drunk. He came back from the not-so-dead a year and a half ago. And Jason’s been very close to Monica since then, even moving back into the family home.

One thing I’m wondering about is whether Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) will be allowed to attend Monica’s funeral. Technically, she is not Drew’s mom, even though she is Jason’s mom and they are twins.

These are Alan Quartermaine’s (Stuart Damon) kids by another woman. Monica adopted and raised Jason. But Drew was secretly adopted out to another family, and no one knew about him until he was an adult. He’s a retcon invention.

Plus, Drew tried to bulldoze the Q family crypt. But I could see Drew crashing the funeral and being stupid. Right now, he’s laid up at General Hospital recovering from two gunshot wounds to his back but he’ll be out by the time Monica Quartermaine passes away, I’m sure.

Erica Slezak Joins General Hospital: A Shocking Claim to the Quartermaine Estate

In addition to the leak about Danny finding Monica passed away, another prior leak said that soap icon Erica Slezak is going to be playing Monica’s sister. She’ll show up at the funeral to make big claims.

Erica’s character is a sister that they’re also inventing as a retcon. If you remember, Monica was adopted by Gail, and we never saw any of her bio family. But now it turns out she has a sister.

She wrote the letter Martin Gray (Michael E Knight) found at Drew’s house. Remember Martin read it and was shocked. So, he ran to see Monica but he didn’t get access. I think it’s going to relate that letter back to what her sister claims at the funeral.

Erica Slezak’s character is going to claim that the Quartermaine estate is hers: the mansion, the property, everything. That’s going to send shock waves through the entire Quartermaine family. The leaker says Tracy flips out and makes a scene.

Monica’s Legacy and Impact on GH and the Quartermaines

Monica’s death and funeral are going to be very sad. But they’re also going to bring a lot drama that’s going to be very soapy. The chain of motion set into effect by Danny finding Monica forces Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) to deal with her estranged mom.

We know Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) is definitely going to be back for Monica’s final goodbye on General Hospital. Other spoilers for BLQ say Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) working on the Drew shooting investigation causes problems for her marriage.

I would have expected her death and funeral for November sweeps, which runs October 30th through November 26th, but it looks like it’s actually going to be sooner. Leslie Charleson’s tragic passing was January 12th of this year from complications of a head injury after a fall, and she had had several falls. We knew, of course, we were going to get a Monica scene where she passed.

But obviously it has to happen off-screen. It’s been since December 2023 that we last saw Leslie Charleson as Monica on General Hospital. That was in scenes where she was wheelchair-bound because she was having balance issues. So, her off-screen death and her on-screen funeral are going to be very sad. This new leak says it’s going to bring some big shockers.

Erica Slezak Joins General Hospital as Monica’s Sister

The leak says someone unexpected shows up. One Life to Live alum Erica Slezak is joining General Hospital this fall for a short arc. She is not playing her One Life to Live character, Victoria Lord. Erica’s representatives confirmed she was going to play a new character. Then, in late July, a leak revealed she would be playing Monica’s sister. Now, we’ve got much more tea to spill with brand new leaks all about this.

Monica’s Off-Screen Death and On-Screen Memorial

The first part of the leak says General Hospital has already filmed Monica’s off-screen death and on-screen funeral. That means it should be about four to six weeks or so before we get the death storyline of Tracy’s sister-in-law. We’re going to find out soon how Monica passes, and then, of course, we’ll get her memorial service.

For a while now, we’ve had mentions from Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Tracy, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), and others that Monica has been sick and bedridden. We’ve seen Tracy being very protective of Monica and the Q’s mention her often, but we haven’t seen her in two years. We’ve heard Tracy saying lately that Monica’s been feeling a bit down.

So, Tracy’s been running interference to minimize stress on her. As far as her character’s death goes, I would guess that Tracy or somebody else in the family is going to report that they went to check on Monica, and maybe she passed away peacefully in her sleep or from heart failure. I would expect it to be natural causes tied to these ongoing illnesses that we’ve seen and heard about.

Jason Morgan Delivers Eulogy Amidst Potential Drew Drama

The next part of the leak is about Monica’s memorial service. We’ve heard it will be her beloved adopted son, Jason, who delivers the eulogy for his mom. He’s going to be heartbroken to lose Monica, Jason loves her. He’s been closer to the Quartermaines recently than he has been in a long time. Jason is even living under her roof, so this is a big deal.

I do wonder if Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) is involved. He’s supposed to be attacked this week as part of Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) sinister plot. So, maybe Drew is going to still be recuperating, assuming he doesn’t die. I know fans would like to see him dead, though.

Presuming Drew’s alive and well, but still a pariah among the Quartermaines, I could see him crashing the funeral. That’s not part of the leak. That’s just me talking about what I expect “Terrible Drew” to do. I certainly wouldn’t put it past him to show up at Monica’s funeral and make a scene, making things harder on the family than it’s already going to be.

A Shocking Revelation: Monica’s Mysterious Sister

The last thing I want to talk about regarding the memorial service is that there is supposed to be a big shock at the funeral. As I said before, One Life to Live’s Erica Slezak is playing Monica’s sister, whom we’ve never seen. I am curious if her last name is going to be Adamson, which is Monica’s biological mother’s name, or Bard, which was Monica’s maiden name.

This could be a sister who reconnected with her later in life. If you recall, Monica herself was adopted by Gail Baldwin. I don’t remember a lot about that, none of it really, because Monica’s introduction predates when I was a kid and my big sister started me watching when I was a little kid during the Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) heyday.

So, I don’t remember anything at all about any mentions of Monica’s biological family, but GH writers have done a retcon and invented this sister. I’m betting that Erica Slezak’s character is the one who wrote the letter that Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) found at Drew’s house. If you remember, Martin picked it up.

Drew said the kids were coloring on the back of the page and didn’t even look at it. But Martin read it, looked absolutely shocked, and hightailed it to the Quartermaine mansion to try and talk to Monica. Martin didn’t get to talk to Monica, but he did ask Yuri some questions about this and whether she had talked about her family outside of the ones we know in Port Charles.

The Quartermaine Mansion Inheritance Drama

The big leak shocker is that Erica Slezak, playing Monica’s sister, stuns the Quartermaines by saying Monica left the mansion to her. The leaker said Tracy’s going to flip out and say she can have the house over her dead body. I find it hard to believe Monica would leave the Q estate to somebody outside of the immediate family there, but you never know.

Or it could be some kind of strange wording in her will. It could be that it was supposed to go to her closest blood relative, and her sister might qualify. Monica only had two biological children, Dawn Winthrop and A.J. Quartermain (Sean Kanan); they are both dead. Monica did legally adopt Jason, but not Drew, and neither of them is blood-related. But Jason presumed dead in the past.

So maybe he was excluded from the latest version of Monica’s will, and she never updated it when he came back from the dead. Her blood relatives are this mystery sister, and then Michael, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver), and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) all through A.J.

Monica & Tracy’s Long-Running Feud on GH

If you’re a longtime General Hospital watcher, you know it’s been a huge bone of contention between Tracy and Monica for decades that Alan Quartermaine (Stuart Damon) gave Monica the house way back in the day.

Occasionally, Monica would take joy in tossing other Quartermaines out of the mansion, sometimes Tracy. So, the very idea that anybody but Tracy is going to have that mansion is going to bother her. I’m sure she’s going to have lawyers working on it.

Martin Gets Revenge on Tracy?

I do wonder if Martin will offer to represent Erika Slezak’s character because he despises Tracy. In the end, let’s hope the estate stays within the Quartermaine family. Especially since Monica’s sister isn’t going to stay around on General Hospital forever unless something changes.

Sometimes they hire people, and they stick around for a lot longer than expected. So, it’s sure to be very dramatic. I’m sure Tracy’s reaction is going to be something to see. I think it’s a nice twist and an homage to Monica’s character.

The whole subject of the mansion’s ownership has been a thorn in Tracy’s side for years. It led to a lot of arguments between her and Monica. So, I think this old wound being reopened with Monica’s sister is kind of brilliant.

Drama and Sadness on General Hospital

While Monica’s death and funeral will definitely be sad, and we’re going to need our tissues, it sounds like they’re going to make it into something that’ll last a few weeks with this house drama. This leak does have me looking forward to that part of it, even though I know it’s going to be super sad to say goodbye to the incredible Monica Quartermaine and a final farewell to the amazing Leslie Charleson.

General Hospital Mystery: Who Is Britt Westbourne’s Sinister Boss?

So, don’t tell me somebody can’t come back from the dead and be the boss.

She’s not dead. She’s living in Croatia at that posh resort that doubles as a sinister science center. Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) ex-lover is on a very short lease. She is being forced to work in the lab or else she won’t get her life-saving Huntington’s drug that she needs to keep going.

WSB, Five Poppies Resort, and the Evil Science Plotline

We know that Pascal (Marc Forget) is the manager of the Five Poppies Resort. He seems to be a minion of the big boss and the guy who’s handling Britt on a day-to-day basis. But Pascal is not Britt Westbourne’s boss. He’s middle management in this wicked regime.

Plus, we know bad guy Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) and Evil Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) are also working either with or for this mystery boss. The whole cabal is on Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) radar and the WSB’s radar because whatever work they’re doing is dangerous and illegal.

GH History: WSB’s Past with Anna Devane, Valentin Cassadine & Andre Maddox

However, I think the WSB wants this scientific research to use for their own purposes. We know from Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), and Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) that there’s been a lot of sketchy stuff in the past with WSB related to experiments, mind control, and all kinds of dodgy science.

Britt Westbourne herself was brought back from the dead. That’s another reason we’re wondering if General Hospital resurrected a villain from the past to be her big boss.

Theories: Who Could Be Britt Westbourne’s Big Boss?

We’ve heard some rumors about casting that have us thinking the mystery man might be somebody whose name we know. Even if they have a new face, the known name is significant.

The first person to consider as the big boss is Britt Westbourne’s dad, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). If you’re a longtime General Hospital fan, you know that he’s Britt’s father and Liesel’s ex. He is a top-tier villain, one of the worst in GH’s history.

Cesar Faison: Could GH’s Infamous Villain Be Back?

Faison was absolutely diabolical. He was totally obsessed with Anna Devane. He was known for kidnapping, brainwashing, wearing masks to impersonate people, torture, and murder—all the bad stuff.

Faison was head of the DVX Cartel, which was kind of the flip side to the WSB. They had double agents working there. Anna Devane’s sister, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), was working with the DVX and at one point, Anna was too.

There was some stuff about their memories being overlapped. It’s messy. Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) was part of that with the DVX. She’s another top villain I would love to see as the mystery boss.

Except we know it’s a man, not a woman. A bunch of people have clearly said “he” when talking about this person, including Sidwell, Britt Westbourne, Pascal, and others.

Is Britt’s Dad Controlling Her With the Huntington’s Drug?

Plus, Faison passed that Huntington’s disease gene on to Britt. The boss is supplying her with medication to control that illness. So maybe Faison developed the drug for himself and he’s using it to keep his daughter alive, keep himself alive, so she can work for him. So yeah, the bad dude may be Britt Westbourne’s bad dad.

Peter August: Could Wes Ramsey Return as Henrik Faison?

The second person to consider as the boss is Faison’s horrible son, Henrik Faison (Wes Ramsey), who is better known by the name Peter August. And yes, he’s also dead. But death is not an obstacle on a soap opera. Plus, he was taken away right after he expired, so that’s open-ended to me.

Peter is Britt’s half brother, so I could see him, in his own sick way, wanting to be close to his sister but also bullying her. Peter was always desperate for Faison’s approval, but that’s something he could never have. At one point, Britt Westbourne also wanted Faison’s approval, but she figured out that that wasn’t possible.

Peter August’s Dark Influence Over Britt Westbourne

Peter wanted to get to know Britt as his sister, but he did so many horrible things to so many people in Port Charles. There’s no way that she would ever trust him. But in Peter’s twisted mind, maybe this is his way of having Britt in his life, even if he is forcing her to be there. You know, I mean, that sounds like something Peter August would do.

He wants affection and attention desperately, but he goes after it in the most diabolical way. Don’t forget that Peter August was played by Wes Ramsey, who is still dating Laura Wright, who plays Carly Corinthos Spencer. So he does have that in with Frank Valentini. He could be back.

Could Nathan West Be the Big Boss on General Hospital?

Here’s another thing to consider while we are looking at the twisted branches of the Faison family tree. What if the boss is Britt Westbourne’s other dead brother, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey)? It’d be a big shocker since, despite being Faison’s son, Nathan was a truly good guy.

Liesel made sure that Nathan did not grow up around Faison. If you remember, Nathan West was raised by his aunt Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) and thought she was his mom and that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was his sister.

Nathan West’s Redemption or Downfall?

Of course, Nathan West was beloved and fans hated when he was killed off. Back then on General Hospital, Nathan West was trying to save his pregnant wife Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) from Faison. But then Faison shot Nathan. That was right before Faison found out Nathan was his son and that he had killed him.

Recently, we heard a rumor that Ryan Paevey might be back to General Hospital. I was wondering if he might be someone that was resurrected and this science is being practiced on him. Maybe he’s the big boss. That’d be cool. It would be a massive twist because Nathan West was good, and the big boss is bad.

A Dark Twist: Nathan West as GH’s Newest Villain?

It could be that Britt’s brother was resurrected and turned dark or was intentionally made to go dark. I think a dark Nathan West would be amazing to see. Amazing for Ryan Paevey to play, especially if he later somehow got redeemed.

If it’s a more Faison-esque version of Nathan West, that would explain him tormenting his sister Britt, which he ordinarily wouldn’t do. I would say the only way it’s Nathan is if something’s been done to turn him villainous.

Now, if you remember, after Faison died, General Hospital’s shrink Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) had Faison’s brain in a jar to study it. That made me think about the WSB memory mapping. It’d be bizarre if it’s Faison’s memories inside of Nathan West.

Could the Cassadine Family Be Behind Britt’s Ordeal?

Now, if it’s not a Faison family member, another legacy family full of creepy characters is the Cassadines. There are plenty of dead family members that fans might enjoy seeing back. As we said, it’s not going to be Helena Cassadine because the boss is a man. A Cassadine makes sense because Liesel and Britt Westbourne both have ties to Cassadine men.

Victor Cassadine: Is He the Mysterious GH Villain?

So, they could have resurrected Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). He’d be great. He was obsessed with Liesel. It could be Victor saved Britt Westbourne from the hook toxin and the Huntington’s because maybe Victor thinks that would get him in good with Liesel. Of course, Victor Cassadine was bombed to death by the WSB. But hey, you know, death doesn’t matter so much.

Spencer Cassadine: Could There Be a Shocking GH Comeback?

Our fifth and final idea kind of in the same vein as good guy Nathan West coming back is if they brought back Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez). Everybody would love to see Spencer Cassadine back even though Nicholas Chavez is not returning.

He’s way too busy, so the role would have to be recast. Now, Spencer is presumed dead and he generally was pretty good up to the time of his death. But first, his memories might have been mapped over with Victor Cassadine’s.

Also, Spencer had a pretty dark side as a kid. He is a Cassadine, so he’s chock full of evil genes. Also, Spencer was super close to Britt at one point. We’ll see who it is. But who are you hoping to find out is the big bad boss running the show?

General Hospital spoilers for July 28 – August 1, 2025 see Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) being smug and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) lashing out in anger.

Let’s dive right into it as we always do an early edition day. We start with what is coming the rest of this week.

General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Fixated on Britt Lookalike

On Wednesday, July 23rd, we’ve got Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) really focused on that woman he saw who looks like his dead ex, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). Jason tells Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) that he thinks he saw Britt Westbourne, and she wants to know where.

So, on a flight to Croatia, which is kind of random. I just wonder how long until Jason and Carly find out that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is in town, which seems like strange timing, right? Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) are stunned by what they discover.

This could be something about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) possibly taking Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) based on a conversation he has with his dad on Wednesday, or it could be about Rocco Falceroni (Finn Frances Carr) seeing Obrect.

General Hospital Spoilers: Portia Spills to Willow

Also, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) really wants to talk to Drew and Nina is telling him that someone targeted Daisy. This could be her plotting with Liesl, or she may wonder if it could be Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) based on what Liesl saw about the smirking. That would seem extreme, but definitely Nina wants to try and tap the brakes on this wedding. Drew is not going to say yes to that.

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) tells the truth, and it looks like she’s going to reveal to Willow the leverage that Drew is holding over her head. She mentioned it on Tuesday, but she’s going to go into it more on Wednesday, reiterating that Drew wants Portia to fake an opioid test on Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson). She’s expecting Willow to be horrified. Well, she’s not. Instead, she tells Portia that Michael didn’t fight fair, so why should she? It looks like Willow is endorsing Drew’s dirty tactics. This is a match made in hell.

Obviously, everybody is starting to get really concerned about Willow’s actions. Nina may listen to Liesl and suspect that Willow had some sort of hand in what happened with Michael losing Daisy. Portia is going to be shocked by Willow’s approval of Drew’s actions. She may tell Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) that Willow knows and just doesn’t care that Drew is evil. That may be what pushes Curtis to do what he does later this week on her wedding day.

General Hospital Spoilers: Marco Gets a Glimmer of Hope

DA Turner asks Sidwell if he believes that his son Marco is in danger. Sonny is up at the PCPD, and Sidwell is worried about Marco. I wonder if he’s going to have to lie to the DA since Sonny is there and holds all the power. Watch these scenes carefully, which I’ve been waiting to see. These two have scenes because DA Turner and Carlo Rota, those two actors, are married in real life. Carlo Rota is married to Nazneen Contractor, and they have been for years. They have kids together. I think this is going to be really cute. But Sidwell may have to lie and say he has seen Marco or something like that to keep Sonny from hurting his son. I wonder if the DA will buy it.

Sonny tells Dante up at the PCPD that this is a conversation they don’t want to have. That seems pretty much like almost a confession of Sonny letting Dante know without saying it that he does indeed know something about Marco going missing. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) got that address, that key. He’s banging on the door yelling to Marco if he’s in there. So, if indeed Lucas is at the door where Marco was, which seems likely, the question is who gave him the info? Was it Jason trying to avoid a war? That seems unlikely. Maybe Carly found out somehow.

General Hospital Spoilers: Key Plot Twists and Character Developments for July 23-25

On Thursday, July 24th, Liesl spends time reconnecting with Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). Of course, they both cared a lot about Franco (Roger Howarth). I wonder if Liesl will find out she has been seeing Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and say, “Don’t do that.” Liesl knows exactly how bad Ric was for Nina. So, if she does find out, she may warn Elizabeth away, which is good advice.

Willow and Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) are chatting before the wedding, and Willow may reassure Scout that she’s not trying to replace her mom, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), but wants to be a good stepmother. Of course, I think Drew is looking for Willow to replace Sam. I still suspect that he may be looking to have his new wife adopt his daughter.

General Hospital Spoilers: Willow & Drew’s Big Day

Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) knows she made the right choice, and I think this is about dumping Kai (Jens Austin Astrup). Nina realizes that she’s got to step in and may resolve to tell Willow about shagging Drew in a desperate attempt to stop the wedding. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Drew have an encounter that may get heated. She slaps him with her opinion, and it’s not very nice. I wonder again if this is about Scout and Willow and just replacing Sam on General Hospital.

On Friday, July 25th, it’s Drew and Willow’s wedding day. Things are going to be chaotic. Nina planned the whole wedding. There aren’t going to be very many guests there. She may also be planning to ruin it, even though she doesn’t want to hurt her daughter. Both Curtis and Nina are going to talk to Willow before the wedding. I wonder who is going to spill the beans because Curtis makes a specific effort to see her and try to talk sense to her. But there’s no sense to be talked there. However, revealing that her groom slept with her mom could potentially be a gamechanger.

General Hospital Spoilers:

I know a lot of fans are hoping that Willow is going to pull a runner. She was talking to Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) a lot about that cabin, and she doesn’t have her kids, so she totally could run off. But I don’t know. I feel like Drew has got her pretty thoroughly gaslit.

Lucas and Carly face off, and he is certain that Sonny took his boyfriend. If he confirms the kidnapping, whether he finds Marco or not, I’m sure Carly will lie, deny, and cover for Sonny, even if she knows it’s true.

Michael leans on Kristina. He may be upset that it’s Willow’s wedding day and that she’s gotten so far from the woman he used to love. He’s probably still upset about Daisy. Something rattles Ava Jerome (Maura West), and it could be Nina vowing to blow up Drew at all costs to save her daughter, or it could be something that Ric says when he brings Ava as his date to the wedding. Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) invites someone along. She may want Sidwell to be her plus one at Drew’s wedding, although he has his own invite, I believe, but Lucy is supposed to be officiating.

General Hospital Spoilers: Wedding Guest List

Wedding guests include Alexis, who brings Scout, Drew’s lawyer, Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight), standing next to Kai, Lucy as the officiant, Liesl, and Nina. It looks like Ava is his plus one. It’s a pretty sparse crowd. Curtis shows up to see Willow before the wedding, but I don’t know if he and Portia are actually going to walk in the doors. Willow seems like she can’t be deterred, but you never know. So, the big question is fight or flight.

General Hospital Wedding Drama and Fallout: Drew Cain Quartermaine and Willow Tait’s Controversial Wedding Week

From July 28th through August 1st, Nina is going to face fallout from what happens at the wedding. Between her and Curtis Ashford, it definitely looks like Willow is going to find out the truth about Nina and Drew. Curtis and Nina were plotting to take down Drew. Portia was too. But we’ll see if there’s anything that can turn Willow away from her psycho fiancé because there’s going to be big aftermath in the wedding between Drew and Willow. Whether that wedding actually takes off is going to be the big thing.

It looks like the drama will carry over into Monday. Kai pays for his actions, and Michael Corinthos feels like he’s got no choice but to move forward. Lucas remains angry. Sidwell is going to hit back really hard once he knows Marco is safe. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) have to convince Port Charles that they’re the real deal and are lovers. But Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is on to this game. The Britt clone drama intensifies. Jason digs deeper and may corner Liesl and he won’t stop until he talks to her. Plus, Britt is in Croatia, the same place as the courier, which is interesting.

General Hospital sees Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) is feeling guilty about Gio Palmieri‘s (Giovanni Mazza) anger at Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). And there’s quite a few people in Port Charles that really dislike Lulu right now. So, she may be looking for a path to redemption after ripping so many lives apart.

We’re going to talk about whether Lulu can heal the fracture between Dante and Gio, and maybe even with BLQ, too. So, obviously, if Lulu can help Dante bond with his new son, Gio, I think it could redeem her in Dante’s eyes.

General Hospital Spoilers: Lulu’s Meddling and Its Consequences

So, you remember not long after the Gio bomb exploded, Dante ripped into Lulu for her part in spilling Brook Lynn’s secret. We saw Lulu insist she was only trying to help and how she didn’t mean for Gio to find out like that.

But Lulu admitted that Gio overheard her confronting Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) about all her lies. And then Dante was ranting at Lulu and saying she made everything worse. All true. Dante said Lulu could have just told him. Also true. But then Lulu tried to blame it on BLQ, saying she promised Brook Lynn she wouldn’t tell him.

But then Dante accused Lulu of wanting to hurt BLQ and make her look bad. And while Dante was angry that Brook Lynn kept the secret for so long, you know, and he’s upset at Chase (Josh Swickard) a little bit too, he’s not nearly as mad at them as he is at Lulu, especially once Brook Lynn explained herself.

You know, Dante called Lulu petty, talked about all the lives she upended, and then Dante suggested that Lulu did this to make BLQ look bad and to try and win back Dante. That really, really ticked off Lulu.

And then Dante basically said Lulu ruined any chance for him to have a relationship with Gio. And then Lulu got really mad. Told Dante she didn’t want to reconcile with him. She didn’t even want to be his friend. And then Dante told Lulu (Alexa Havins) stay out of his life. Stay out of Gio’s life.

After Dante stormed out, Lulu of course was bawling and heartbroken. And now after her confrontation with BLQ, it’s easy to see Lulu is feeling pretty bad about Gio rejecting both Dante and Brook Lynn. But obviously, she’s more concerned about her ex.

Lulu’s Potential Redemption: Can She Fix What She Broke?

And of course, we all heard Dante tell Lulu “Stay away from Gio.” But we all also know that Lulu doesn’t listen to anybody ever. Lulu does what Lulu wants to do. And her son, of course, Rocco Falceroni (Finn Frances Carr), was stunned by this whole reveal. And I suspect he’s part of why Lulu might keep on meddling in a situation she should never have been a part of simply because she hates BLQ and has been jealous. We all know that’s why she was in it.

So Lulu may soon be on a mission to try and make things right, at least for Dante. If she can reconcile Gio and Dante so they can have a father and son bond, you know, Lulu might be able to redeem herself. And if she can get Gio to open up to Brook Lynn maybe, you know, that would actually really be something as well.

The Rocco Connection: A Playdate to Mend Fences?

And Lulu may actually have the perfect way to put this in motion. She can start with Rocco since he’s Gio’s half-brother. Of course, Rocco is going to want a brotherly relationship with him. And I definitely don’t see Gio rejecting Rocco on General Hospital. I mean, Gio’s got no reason at all to be upset at Rocco. And if he’s being unreasonable, Gio could say, “Well, Dante chose Rocco and rejected him.” But Gio knows that’s not accurate or fair. So hopefully he won’t say that.

And of course, Lulu is going to want Rocco to know his brother. So maybe Lulu can arrange for a playdate, you know? So Gio and Rocco can spend some time hanging out. Obviously, I’m joking. They’re too old for a playdate, but you get the idea.

If Lulu can get Gio to come over to her house to hang out, to see Rocco then she could get the chance to try to talk to Gio and get him to see that Dante is 100% innocent in all this. And Lulu can tell him that Dante would have loved to be his dad all along. And Gio knows Dante had no idea he fathered a baby as a teenager, but it’s all just it’s a shock to his system.

Unveiling the Truth: Lulu’s Strategy to Win Back Dante’s Affection

And a big part of Gio’s anger is that his beloved dead mom, Camila, lied to him for 12 years all the way up until her death. Lois and Gloria Cerullo (Ellen Travolta), who he’s always trusted, well, turns out they’re also liars. And even though Lulu is no fan of Brook Lynn’s, she might fill Gio in on some things, you know.

I mean, heck, Lulu might even tell Gio about her own teen pregnancy when she chose to terminate the baby. Lulu might even tell Gio that BLQ made a brave and difficult decision to carry him to term and give him up for adoption because that was a hard choice. And Lulu may also tell Gio that up until she told Brook Lynn that she had a son, she didn’t even know that piece of info.

General Hospital: Lulu Works on Gio?

So, I think Lulu might work on Gio to get him to at least hear what Dante has to say. Maybe Brook Lynn, too. But I think her primary focus would be Dante And if Lulu can make this happen, I think it would definitely change Dante’s attitude about his ex-wife. And of course, Rocco will be on board to help.

I think Lulu will see that she has to make this right. Not even for Dante and BLQ, but for her own role in blowing up Gio’s entire world. And if Lulu decides she’s going to help Dante get close to his new son, she’s not going to stop until she makes it happen.

Orchestrating a Reunion: Will Lulu’s Plan Work?

You know, Lulu might even set it up. So, Gio’s at the house with Rocco and she makes sure Dante drops by. So, it’s an innocent run-in with neither of them knowing that Lulu set it up. Rocco would probably help Lulu if she enlists him in her plan to get Gio and Dante closer together. Clearly, none of this is going to happen overnight, but I don’t think Lulu is going to be able to leave things the way they are with her and Dante which of course is deeply, deeply broken.

Ever since the big reveal about Gio, it’s clear Dante doesn’t look at Lulu the same way. A couple of weeks before that, that was when Dante told Lulu he still loved her, but he loves Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and he was still grieving Sam.

So, he wasn’t even in a place where he could think about anything. But now it’s got to be clear to Lulu that she damaged that love that Dante did hold for her. So if Lulu can help Dante get close to Gio, I think that would redeem her in his eyes and maybe restore some of that love that Dante had for Lulu.

General Hospital: The Unlikely Friendship – Could Lulu and BLQ Ever Get Along?

And my gosh, imagine if Lulu could get Gio to open up to BLQ. That would be incredible. She would forgive Lulu for sure. Right now, what Brooklyn wants more than anything is to be Gio’s mom. Imagine if it was Lulu that could make that happen. Could you see? Could you even conceive of a day where Brook Lynn and Lulu actually wound up as friends?

Or okay, maybe not friends, but maybe not enemies that despise each other. Also, if BLQ forgives Lulu or at least softens up on her, that could sway Dante. So, we’ll see how it goes. But I think fixing things with Gio might be the fastest way that Lulu can get back into Dante’s good graces.

General Hospital sees the rumor mill is churning and I’ve got some scoop about possible backstage intrigue related to Jonathan Jackson’s fate as Lucky Spencer on the ABC soap and how it might also tie into Rebecca Herbst who plays Elizabeth Webber. We’re going to talk about the possibility of Lucky and Elizabeth maybe exiting.

General Hospital Rumors: Jonathan Jackson’s Possible Exit as Lucky Spencer

All right. So, this rumor comes from a source I don’t have a lot of info on. I’m not going to give them a lot of sunshine and oxygen because I don’t know them. They’ve been around a few years doing GH podcast. I don’t know their track record for reliability on scoops. I just want to say that right up front.

But at the same time, this chatter about Jonathan Jackson seems plausible and it aligns to a lot of known information about his new time and tenure on General Hospital. We’re going to get into the rumor and then I’m going to tell you why I think this could have legs.

And to be clear, I’m not trying to upset anybody, not trying to upset fans, but I’m a journalist and my job is to report news and that includes rumors. We were one of the first ones talking about Kelly Monaco’s exit rumors and it turned out true. So, I’m doing what I do. Don’t shoot the messenger.

Three-Part Rumor: Jackson’s Departure, Valentini’s Plea, and Herbst’s Fate

Let’s get into it. First thing to know, this rumor has three parts that are kind of tied in together. So, part one, it spilled on this GH podcast that Jonathan Jackson supposedly decided he’s going to leave General Hospital around August or September of this year. If you don’t remember, he came back as Lucky Spencer August 23rd, 2024. And Jonathan Jackson’s exit rumor saying August or September makes sense if he only signed on for a one-year stint to bring back Lucky.

And can I just say, I can’t believe it’s been almost a year since Jonathan Jackson came back. It feels like he’s only been back a couple of months. So, the first part of the rumor that Jonathan Jackson could be leaving in 3 to 4 months, that’s plausible, but just to be clear, not confirmed, but the timing lines up. Year to year, one year, that makes sense.

General Hospital: Rumor Part Two – Johnathon Out?

So, the second part of this three-part rumor is that supposedly showrunner Frank Valentini is trying to get Jonathan Jackson to stay on as Lucky until February. Now, for the timing of part two, that would equate to a sixmonth extension for Jonathan Jackson if he signed a one-year deal. Six-month term extensions are fairly common in the soap world. So, again, plausible, not probable, not guaranteed, plausible.

Here’s part three of the rumor. The allegation is that Jonathan Jackson’s decision to stay or go could be tied into Becky Herbst’s fate on General Hospital and her long-running role as Elizabeth Webber. Now, I will say part three of this Jonathan Jackson rumor is particularly concerning and unfortunately not necessarily surprising given how the ABC soap has done Becky in the past and not in a good way.

Rebecca’s History with General Hospital: Contract Negotiations and Fan Outrage

You know, she’s been on General Hospital as Elizabeth Webber for almost 30 years. She has a huge and loyal fan base as a longtime legacy character. But several times over the last 10 plus years, the powers that be have, you know, left her hanging and not necessarily, if talk can be believed, had not treated her well during contract negotiations and have even fired her.

If you don’t remember, the powers that be fired Rebecca in early 2011. Fired. In case you don’t know that. And the Liz actress did an interview after that talking about how she was utterly blindsided when they called her into a meeting and said, “We’re writing you out.” That sparked fan uproar and outrage.

And guess what? Four weeks later, the showrunner at the time, who’s long gone, rehired Becky. And then five years later, it was like a bad flashback to the same plot, Daytime Confidential, spilled in March 2016 that GH was putting Becky through the ringer on her contract negotiations and was thinking about letting her go again. And again, fan outrage surged after that report. and Frank Valentini reportedly backed down because Becky wound up with a new multi-year contract..

Potential Exit Strategy: Lucky and Elizabeth’s Future on GH

So, those two pieces of history make part three of the Jonathan Jackson rumor very problematic for me. If Frank’s trying to keep Jonathan Jackson around till February, it could be to set up a March exit for Liz because we know Becky Herbst’s renewal period is in March. It’s in early early in the year, like in the January to March range. So, something could happen like Lucky and Elizabeth they head off on an adventure, she retires as a nurse, Aiden Spencer (Colin Cassidy) is off to college.

I mean, it would work. I don’t like the idea of it. And there’s some debate about whether Jonathan Jackson really is on a one-year contract. When they brought him back to play Lucky he said it was a long-term gig with no timeline ever publicly confirmed. So Jonathan Jackson may think that one year is a long-term soap gig compared to say a multi-month arc as Lucky which I would consider short-term or a guest arc. So the language is very open to interpretation.

There’s somebody on soap social media insisting that Jonathan signed a three-year deal. They don’t really have any credibility that I’ve seen and a long-term contract has not been confirmed by any source that I consider credible. So, we just simply don’t know how long he came on initially. Sometimes GH will say they signed a long-term deal. I think they did it when Steve Burton came back as Jason Morgan, but with Liz’s return, it was non-specific. Jonathan Jackson never said either way. And just to be clear, this is a rumor, not a spoiler.

Liz’s Hesitation: Exploring the Future of Lucky and Elizabeth’s Relationship

So, this comes hot on the heels of Lucky proposing to Liz. She said no. We’re left hanging on why. As of the time I taped this video, she had not explained herself to Lucky. We don’t know if Liz’s answer is no or just not right now.

And it seems pretty quick to me, kind of out of the blue for Lucky to propose to Liz especially since he’s been lying about her rack and covering for Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi). I’m personally torn on whether I even want a long-term Liz and Lucky reunion. I liked her better with Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) or Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). You know, she and Lucky struggled in the past.

I don’t always like the way he treated her or the way that Lucky spoke to Liz. If you don’t recall, Lucky and Liz were married twice before. Both times ended in divorce. So, that could be why she’s hesitant to say yes to the proposal. And again, this Jonathan Jackson/Rebecca Herbst thing is only a rumor.

The timing makes it plausible, but people that start fake rumors, if they do their research, you know, they can spread something around that seems plausible. So, at this point, I’ll say it’s nothing to get worked up about, but it is something to keep an eye on. That’s what I will say.

Concerns for Becky Backstage Politics and Screen Time

I’m neither here nor there on whether Jonathan Jackson is staying a year or three. For me, he can stay or go. I don’t love any of his storylines. Lucky’s romance with Liz has been mostly offscreen and to me not particularly passionate and his defense of Kristina is really icky to me because it meant he was lying to Liz’s face for a good long while. I have a much stronger opinion about Rebecca’s future on GH.

I’ll say that the soap I think has done her wrong a couple of times in the past and not just about her contract. At the GH fan weekend in 2023 at Graceland, both Kelly Monaco and Rebecca Herpst got fan questions about why they didn’t have more episodes, more screen time, more storylines, especially given how long they’d been on the soap.

That was October 2023, and neither could really answer that because they don’t control it. And they both continued to be back burnered until a year later, October 2024, when Kelly Monaco was written out for good as they killed Sam McCall off for no good reason. So, lots of rumors about backstage politics swirled around her exit. So, I just hope this same regime isn’t plotting against Rebecca again. That’s why this rumor really bothers me. We’ll see how it goes. And if I hear anything related to her or Jonathan Jackson’s contract status, I will let you know.
