Days of Our Lives sees Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) is back in Salem and up to no good. And we’re wondering if she’s working with Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) and if there’s a big Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) twist coming, too.

Gwen’s Shocking Return to Salem: Diamonds, Divorce, and Dimitri’s Drama on Days of our Lives

All right, at the end of Monday’s day’s episode, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) was stunned to see Gwen at the door of the Horton house, and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) was doubly stunned because Gwen had the Horton family heirloom diamonds around her neck. She left town as the scorned Mrs. Dimitri von Leuschner DiMera. However, we are assuming that Gwen divorced that cheater and took a big chunk of Dimitri’s change in the split, but you never know.

Last we saw Gwen, she was hopping a jet to Alamania on a gold digging expedition in October of 2023. Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) ex bestie left Salem heartbroken because Gwen’s hottie husband Dimitri von Leuschner DiMera (Peter Porte) had been playing hide the salami with her BFF Leo behind her back even on their honeymoon.

And then cheater Dimitri went on to cheat on Leo as well. Now you know they say how you meet them is how you lose them. And now Dimitri has moved on to some other guy if I recall. I think somebody he met while in prison and he wrote Leo a letter and Dimitri said basically thank you next.

Days of our Lives: Gwen’s Got Money?

So Leo has moved on with Javi Hernandez and Gwen moved on to Alamania for a while and it looks like she may have come back a wealthy woman. When she left town, she wanted nothing more to do with either Leo or Dimitri. But Gwen did grab a blank check from her hubby’s checkbook, and Dimitri was arrested for trying to kill Stefan and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez).

So Gwen left Salem to try and claim Dimitri’s inheritance from his family. Remember, the marriage was all a precursor for him fully inheriting. And if you remember, in October of 2023, Emily O’Brien walked out of the airport as brunette Gwen and got onto a flight and then she walked back in the door as Recast Theresa Donovan in a blonde wig. Presumably though, Gwen’s been in Alamania all this time and that’s where things get really interesting.

Vivian Alamain’s Conspiracy: Gwen’s Alliance and the Anti-Kiriakis Plot on Days of our Lives

So, you know who else is there? Vivian Alamain because that’s her family territory and also her son Stefan is there as well. Gwen’s ex right. So if you recall Vivian had Ivonne shove Stefan DiMera in a car trunk and Vivian had him hijacked back to Alamania to cool his heels. And Stefan’s mom signed his name on the divorce papers and had them delivered to Gabi, breaking her heart. So the big question is whether Gwen has been conspiring with Vivian.

So a while back our leaker told us that Gwen was returning and was plotting with Vivian against the Kiriakis family and that Gwen would mostly be the one on the front burner of the plot because Louise Sorel couldn’t do much filming. I shared that with you guys quite a while back when I first got the leak. And that leaked info from months ago coincides with things from the summer and fall promo and things we’re seeing this week because it looks like EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is conspiring with Gwen and part of that may be an anti-Kiriakis plot.

So we know she’s still hot for Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) who split up from Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) right now. Plus, Vivian’s got a grudge against the Kiriakis family since Philip claimed half of Xander’s inheritance using the document that Vivian forged. But then, Philip’s mom, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), ratted Vivian out to the cops, and Philip refused to kill Xander as Vivian demanded. So, messy, angry, salty, all those words describe her right now.

Salem Spoilers: Gwen’s Kiss, Custody Battles, and ISA Investigations

So, bottom line, there’s a lot to unpack here, and it sounds pretty twisted. Plus, it kind of seems random that Gwen wanders back into Salem at this precise moment. This week, she sees Chad and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), who of course aren’t thrilled to see her.

And Gwen gets a shock when she runs into her ex bestie Leo in Hortontown Square pushing a baby stroller. Plus, she’s got on Julie’s necklace that Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) has been trying to find. Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) stole it. Leo fenced it. Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) bought it. Then she resold it. And now Gwen’s got it.

This week, after tormenting Julie by showing off the Horton Diamonds, Gwen gets some alone time with her hunky ex, Xander. And Days of Our Lives spoilers confirm that Gwen gives Xander a big kiss, but we know Sarah is his person, so he may shut it down. Plus, Xander wants full custody of Victoria, and he may realize rekindling anything with greedy Gwen could make him look bad in custody court.

Days of our Lives LEAK: Surprising Team

And our leaker also said that she’s going to be more heavily involved with Chad and Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord), which is kind of interesting because Gwen seems to be plotting with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). And we know Cat Greene got orders from Shane Donovan at the ISA to find out where EJ DiMera got the money to buy University Hospital because Shane is certain it’s dirty money and Rafe Hernandez (is also working with Cat Greene.

Now, spoilers hint that Chad DiMera finds out Cat Greene’s involved with the ISA and Chad DiMera may actually help her make a case against EJ. You never know. One reason Chad’s not involved with the family business is because of all the shady and illegal going on. Tony DiMera doesn’t like any of that either. So, he’s going to get involved in this soon and he’s plotting with Gabi.

Umbrella Plots and Stephano’s Return: Summer Preview on Days of Our Lives

So, lots of stuff coming. It looks like it’s an umbrella plot and it could be that Gwen is trying to thwart the ISA investigation. I mean, really, the money for the hospital buyout could come from the Alamains or some other sketchy source that Gwen’s tied to. But with Gwen involved, you know, she may be protecting an Alamanian investment in EJ and the hospital.

Plus, we’ve got scenes from the promo for Summer with Marin getting sick and having dreams about being Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) queen of the night. And somebody else says Stefano O is still alive. But maybe they don’t mean Stefan as in Joseph Mascolo since the actor passed away years ago. Maybe they mean Stefan, middle initial O, as in Vivian’s son.

I mean, heck, they could even implant Stefano’s memories into his son Stefan. Remember, they did that with Steve and he was roaming around acting like Stefano with that bionic eye. And if you remember, they were calling him Stepheno. But Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) dug out the microchip in Steve’s neck and he was back to being Patch again.

But given that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Vivian know each other well and Rafe escaped from Salem in a submarine a couple of years ago, but still works for the DiMera’s, this could all align for a wild and woolly summer storyline. And remember, Gwen really liked Jake Lambert, who turned out to be Stefan.

So, she might be involved with him with or without Stefano’s memories, as well as being involved with wicked Vivian Alamain. Our leakers spilled the Vivian Gwen stuff to us months ago. I shared it here. Hopefully, you heard it. Madame Vivian has always wanted her son Stefan to be in control of the DiMera Empire.

So, Vivian could have helped EJ with the funds to buy the hospital and Gwen could be on the job to stop Cat and Chad from learning the truth. I know. I would be thrilled if Brandon Barash was back to Days of Our Lives, whether he’s playing Stefan DiMera or a version of that with his dad’s Stefano’s memories implanted in him. It sounds like a fun time.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Chad’s Deepening Bond and Custody Battles Heat Up

On Monday, July 7th, Chad DiMera deepens his bond with Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord). He’s starting to get really into his feels with her. And we have got Chad kissing Cat and that smooch is coming soon. Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) is bickering with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) again.

It’s about Victoria and custody. Both of them were advised to make peace. Sarah was told by Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). Xander was told by Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) that them fighting like this is only going to hurt their daughter, but they just can’t seem to help themselves. You know that saying, there’s a thin line between love and hate. And I think they are right on that line.

Sophia Choi struggles with her feelings about giving up the baby. And of course, soon she has to tell Tate Black (Leo Howard) she gave birth. And all this drama, you know, we’ll see. She could be struggling with postpartum depression because she is going to be doing some really sketchy things this summer.

Tate and Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) make plans to do this senior camp trip. They are going away for a week, but it looks like Tate’s just going to go away for like a day or so because he’s concerned about Sophia (Rachel Boyd) giving birth, having no idea she already has. Watch for Tate and Holly to be kissing under the fireworks soon.

Gwen Rizczech’s Shocking Return and Romantic Fireworks in Salem

On Tuesday, July 8th, we have got Gwen Rizczech  sweeping back into Salem. Emily O’Brien is back. Gwen has got money, attitude, and it looks like Julie Williams’ (Susan Seaforth Hayes) precious necklace around her neck. Chad and Julie are absolutely stunned to see Gwen show up at the Horton House all smug and entitled and just, you know, being Miss Gwen. I’m excited about this more so than I was her as Teresa. So, we’ll see.

Ari is busted by her uncle Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) when she’s up to something. Looks like she’s trying to sneak over to make out with Doug Williams 3 (Peyton Meyer) in his room above the Brady Pub. There’s going to be some action over there between those two this week. Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) tells Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) that he loves her as they enjoy the fireworks and some romance under the July 4th night sky.

Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) is worried when the baby won’t stop crying at the Hernandez house. Ari is not enjoying the noise. And we’ve got Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) pitching in to try and get the little guy to calm down. But Leo is actually worried that the baby may be sick. Now, he may just be overreacting because this whole situation is stressing him or legit it could be happening that way. We’ll see.

Leo’s Past Trauma, Forbidden Kisses, and Health Scares Unfold

Wednesday, July 9th, Leo opens up to Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) some more about his past. And maybe his emotional baggage is causing issues with Leo bonding with the baby and being able to deal with it. His terrible mom, Diana Colville (Judith Chapman), is just the worst. And Leo has got mommy issues and daddy issues, and none of that can be helping in this situation.

Doug 3 rejects Ari. She is over there trying to make out with him. He wants Ari to stay away. Doug Williams 3 is trying to keep her safe, but she’s just insulted. And of course, Doug 3 hasn’t told Ari or Holly that he still owes these dangerous people money. They have sent him those photos of the girls. So, you know, he’s not the brightest bulb. He thinks just by kicking them out of his life that’s going to protect them. It’s not. Xander gets some time alone with Gwen at the Salem in and she plants a lip lock on Xander who she’s still clearly hot for.

Belle Black (Martha Madison) worries about Marina when she seems dizzy and close to collapse at home. Plus, Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis brings some rough news to Sarah. They’re chatting at the Kiriakis mansion and I wonder if this relates to the custody battle and whether Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will be taking Xander’s case or not. Maggie would be very upset if he was.

Criminal Charges, Family Conflicts, and Shocking Discoveries Rock Salem

Thursday, July 10th, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) is facing criminal charges, of course, but Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) is loyal. She believes in his innocence. EJ DiMera is standing by Johnny, too. He’s considering trying to find a way to shift the blame onto Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) for his shooting. And we do know that Kristen is headed to prison later this summer, but I don’t think it’s going to be a direct accusation situation on Days of our Lives.

Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) warns his brother EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) not just about the Johnny trial, but also that Tony intends to take back the company and the two brothers discuss CEO options. EJ thinks it’d be a good fit for Johnny. You know, presuming he gets him off on these attempted murder charges.

Plus, that would get Johnny away from working for the Kiriakis’s over at Titan. Hopefully they can get Dearra out from under that umbrella. And of course, don’t forget Cat’s been tasked with investigating the source of funds that EJ used to buy the hospital. And that’s for the ISA with Rafe helping out as the FBI liaison.

Belle and Jada Hunter are stunned by what is on the memory card that Belle was sent. And the big question is who sent it and why? because last we saw it, it was in EJ’s hands. So maybe he’s setting her up. You can’t put anything past that, ma’am. Xander argues with Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier). And no doubt it is about Titan.

Johnny’s Trial Looms as Secrets and Manipulations Intensify

On Friday, July 11th, Jada (Elia Cantu) asks Chanel some tough questions. And I wonder if it is about Johnny’s whereabouts the night of the shooting. The gun that Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) handed over isn’t going to help Johnny at all because he wiped it down for Prince.

They obviously can’t test Johnny for gunshot residue because it’s been so long. And the bullet should match. I remember they were having some problems with past ballistic tests like on Kristen’s gun and stuff. Something about the bullet being partially damaged. Sometimes if it hits bone inside a body, it can warp it. So, we’ll see if they get a ballistics match.

Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) offers Johnny an update and EJ’s playing dirty games and he’s manipulating Belle. He’ll obviously do anything to help Johnny. Sarah demands that Philip come clean about Xander beating him and Xander and Maggie are arguing about Sarah and Victoria again.

Days of Our Lives: Trial Secrets, Unexpected Returns, and Dark Turns Ahead

The week of July 14th through the 18th, we’re headed into Johnny’s criminal trial soon. Little Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) is nervous about testifying, but she’s also sitting on a secret that both Marina and Sarah may find out soon. Of course, it’s that Johnny is not the shooter, and the truth about who did it is buried inside little Rachel.

Word spreads that Gwen Rizczech is back, and I think very few people are going to be happy to see her. I am curious to see if Gwen gives Leo the cold shoulder since we know he wants to rekindle their friendship and feels super guilty about banging her hunky husband Dimitri von Leuschner DiMera. Sophia has to come clean to Tate about giving birth. She’s going to lie and say it was a little girl and that the adoptive parents wanted to take the baby right away, so she let them.

D.A. Melinda Trask may try and fake some documents to help support these fibs she’s telling to take. That woman’s going to lose her law license, I tell you. Doug Williams There’s debt collectors amp up soon, and the senior trip takes a darker turn. Belle and EJ may both play dirty in court.

Philip wants to help Xander and Sarah fix things. Cat and Chad continue to get closer, and Julie’s frustrated that Gwen’s got the Horton necklace, and Javi may want to keep the baby as long as possible.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Gabby and Ari’s Sweet Moment & Johnny’s Arrest

So on Monday, June 30th, Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) and Ari have a very nice mother-daughter moment, which is very sweet since she generally doesn’t want to give Gabby the time of day. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) discuss their worries about Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), who is started on Friday. It carries over onto Monday’s episode.

EJ insists that Johnny did not shoot him, but Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) goes ahead and she arrests Johnny anyway. Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) rushes out of Sweet Bits in time to hear from her husband Johnny that he is being arrested for EJ’s attempted murder.

Paulina’s Mayoral Powers & Rafe’s Disagreement in Days of Our Lives

So Chanel then goes running to her mama, Mayor Paulina Price (Jackee Harry), and she may be trying to push her to use her mayoral powers to get the charges dropped. Obviously, Jada got that info from Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), and I’m sure she discussed it with district attorney Belle Black (Martha Madison).

But you know, Belle has a lot of conflicts of interest since Johnny is her nephew, and she’s sleeping with his dad, the murder, attempted murder victim. So, Rafe, meanwhile, isn’t very happy with Jada.

It looks like he thinks she arrested Johnny without enough proof. He’s not her boss anymore and he shared the anonymous info, you know, about Gabi overhearing it. And that just doesn’t seem like enough to go and arrest him on Days of our Lives. So, we’ll see. Johnny looks like he’s back out. So, I don’t know if they’re forced to drop the charges or at least give him bail.

July 1st Spoilers: Mob Debt Collectors, Brady & Kristen’s Disagreement & Chanel’s Blame Game

Tuesday, July 1st, Ariana has some questions for Doug Williams (Bill Hayes). He’s obviously worried about the photos that he was mailed by the mobbed up debt collectors. I wonder if he’s gonna cut ties and dump Ari to try and protect her from the bad guys. Plus, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) disagree about Rachel Black (Alice Halsey).

They never ever agree about their daughter. And I suspect this is about Johnny, what she saw him being arrested and whether Rachel could be called in to testify because really she’s the only witness that had Johnny with the gun in his hand and EJ’s denying it.

So Chanel is bickering with EJ. Obviously, Chanel’s going to blame all the bad things that have befallen her and the man she loves, Johnny, on his awful dad, EJ, because the only reason Johnny held a gun on him was because of the whole him raping his mom, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) thing. Plus, Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) updates Tate Black (L1eo Howard).

And I wonder if it is about DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) bailing as her lawyer. And I wonder if Sophia I don’t think she knows that it was Brady that threatened her. I’m trying to remember. I don’t think she does. Maybe just Melinda backed off because Brady did threaten her, which is insane because she was the only lawyer willing to take on this case without any kind of retainer.

Days of Our Lives: Sophia’s Secret Birth & Maggie Comforts Sarah

Wednesday, July 2nd, Sophia absolutely freaks out when she goes into labor. Looks like she is alone at home and she gives birth right there in her bedroom. However, Sophia doesn’t want anybody, but especially Tate, to know that she gave birth. She doesn’t want them to see the baby until she gets the adoption sorted out because she thinks Tate’s going to back out of the adoption and that’s a problem for her.

So, it looks like Sophia may actually leave her newborn baby at the fire station because that same day, Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) heads home with a baby and he and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) are fussing over it. And I don’t know where else he would get a newborn baby, just randomly. And Javi is working at the fire station. Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) gets Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) to open up to her.

Obviously Sarah’s upset about Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and his demands to see Victoria, which of course he’s going to demand that Mama Maggie is there to comfort Sarah. She’s not happy with Xander either. Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) has an update for Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), and I wonder if it’s about the family necklace or Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) or some other issue.

Holly & Tate Reunite, Xander & Maggie Argue & Sophia Needs Help

Thursday, July 3rd. Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) is happy as she and Tate reunite romantically, but don’t forget Holly was looking at colleges overseas. So, is that still the case? Because Tate was looking at local and you know, are either of them going to notice that Sophia is, I don’t know, got a pillow under her shirt now since she’s given birth and it seems like she wants to delay people finding out.

Xander and Maggie are arguing and it’s very tense. Obviously, it’s about Victoria and Sarah. And of course, Maggie doesn’t care that Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) claims that Xander didn’t beat him. She’s quite certain he did. Everybody really knows he did it, but they can’t do anything since Philip is covering for him.

Sophia really, really needs Melinda’s help, and I think Sophia may tell her she gave birth and ditched the baby. Brady comforts Sarah, and there is more of this dynamic to come as she remains estranged from Xander.

Days of Our Lives July 4th Spoilers: EJ Supports Johnny & Belle Receives a Memory Card

Friday, July 4th is a holiday, but we’re still gonna have a brand new episode of Days of Our Lives. So, we’ve got EJ supporting Johnny and he is vowing to keep his son out of prison. But, of course, Johnny is wondering if EJ is going to do something crazy. Chanel doesn’t like this and she thinks Johnny has made a deal with the devil by bargaining with his dad.

And Chanel is really upset about Johnny and what’s happening. And her stepdad, Abe Carver (James Reynolds), is there for her. Belle Black gets the hidden cameras memory card sent to her anonymously and then she makes Paulina a promise. And I wonder if she’s vowing to make sure that Johnny won’t go down unless he’s clearly guilty.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Kristen and Brady go to Marlena

Belle needs to recuse herself because that is the son of her boyfriend and he’s accused of shooting her boyfriend. She can’t be the DA on this case. I hope they’re not going to do that. And I also am wondering who sent Belle the memory card. Was it Rachel? Was it Kristen? I mean, it doesn’t look good for Johnny since it shows him at the mansion holding the gun on his dad, even though it doesn’t show him pulling the trigger on EJ.

Kristen and Brady go to Marlena for advice about Rachel, and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) tries to talk Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) into something, and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) asks her point blank if Stephanie is the one who wrote the dirty book that Alex wants her to publish at Titan.

Days of Our Lives July 7-11: EJ’s Shooter Trial, Gwen’s Return & Sophia’s Secret

July 7th through the 11th, EJ’s shooter case is just getting started. Johnny’s going to be the first accused, but not the last. There’s going to be a a whole summer trial thing. And of course, it still looks like Rachel Black may have actually done the deed. Sami is heading for Salem soon. She needs to see Marina and offer her condolences on John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) passing.

And Sami’s also going to want to check in on Johnny about this arrest. Xander won’t back down about Victoria and Philip and Xander are busy trying to revive struggling Titan Deth. Gwen is back in Salem and it looks like she’s got money that she got from somewhere, maybe from Dimitri von Leuschner DiMera’s (Peter Porte) family and an agenda.

According to our leaker, Gwen is excited to hear that Xander’s marriage is crushed and she wants another shot at Xander, but it’s probably not going to work out that way. And there’s something that happened while she was away that put her in an unusual position. We’re also going to have fallout from Sophia’s decision to hide that she gave birth. Doug’s debt collectors are not going to give up either.
