Hey Sister Wives fans, let’s talk about how Kody Brown stepped in it again—this time with his oldest son, Logan Brown. But before we get into Kody shocking everyone with his behavior toward Logan, keep in mind what Kody said about fixing things with his family on the latest episode.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown – All Consumed With Setting Things Right

In recent episodes of Sister Wives,  we saw Kody Brown look right into the camera to talk about his alleged attempts to make amends with his estranged kids. We’ve really only got Kody’s word on that – until Janelle said something later on. But at Garrison’s funeral, we saw Kody pull a rather sad stunt involving his oldest son, Logan.

So, Kody’s giving this version of events that sounds like he’s trying to fix things with his grown kids. And some of this comes from that tale he told Robyn about when he went to Utah to see his “girls,” presumably referring to his daughters with Christine Brown.

The Sister Wives patriarch also said he saw his boys by “another mother,” which sounds like his sons with Janelle Brown.

Kody Reports Back to Robyn Brown

Some of the hardest scenes to watch from Sister Wives were those involving Garrison’s death. The pain coming from everyone was not easy to watch for many viewers. Then there is Kody, who seemed consumed with trying to find a way to make things more bearable for himself. As you know, he was reportedly still estranged from Garrison when he died.

And part of Kody’s mission seemed to be the Utah trip he took without Robyn that happened before the funeral. It sounded like Garrison’s death made Kody realize he couldn’t put off fixing things with his remaining kids. We learned about this trip from Kody reporting all the details to Robyn.

Sister Wives | TLC

So he told Robyn about the trip and made it sound like a success. But in a more recent episode, Janelle had a different take on the great reunion tour he bragged about to Robyn.

Janelle said Kody remained estranged from many family members after this trip, including at Garrison’s funeral. If you watch how Kody’s children reacted to him at the funeral service, it seems to back up what Janelle said.

For one thing, the Sister Wives adult kids seemed to basically ignore him at the cemetery—all but one, his oldest son, Logan Brown.

Logan Brown Never Spoke Ill About His Father In Public

Now I do want to make one thing clear before we talk about the interaction between Logan and his dad, Kody at the funeral. You know a lot of the Sister Wives estranged kids have said some things publicly.

Paedon Brown, Gwendlyn Brown, and Gabriel Brown are just three of the kids who vented about their father on TV and/or social media. So many of the Sister Wives brood have spoke out about Kody and Robyn in no uncertain terms.

I say that to draw attention to the fact that Logan has not voiced his opinion of Kody publicly on social media like some of the other kids have. So, going into this, Logan’s said nothing to embarrass, upset or criticize Kody on social media.

And from all accounts through the seasons of Sister Wives on TLC, Logan’s been a wonderful son to Kody and Janelle – treating his parents with kindness and respect. All the kids seem to adore their shared moms, but it’s their dad Kody they’ve taken issue with – to be clear.

Sister Wives: Logan Shunned By Kody

Okay, so what happened with Logan and Kody at the funeral that has people talking? It was a quick little scene on the Sister Wives screen; blink and miss it, but still, it was kind of a big deal. During the funeral service, Kody climbed down into the hole he dug for Garrison’s urn. Then Janelle handed the urn to Kody, who was about knee-deep in the hole.

While holding Garrison’s urn carefully in his hands, Kody placed it into the ground. Then, as Kody was climbing up out of the hole – Logan reached out to Kody and said “let me give you a hand dad.”

t the funeral and to absolve himself in front of everyone from the animosity between father/son with this supposed dream. Either hooey or wishful thinking.”

Another Sister Wives fan not only doubted Kody’s dream about Garrison ever happened, but also said the other Brown children likely felt the same.

This viewer tweeted, “I’m not sure I’m buying that and by the looks on the kids faces, I don’t think they did either.”

The overwhelming tone of fan comments on social media is that since Kody never made amends with Garrison – Kody figured out a way to do this for himself.

Sister Wives Patriarch In Competition With His Older Boys

But despite Kody’s dream forgiveness he conjured up about Garrison, that doesn’t mean Kody can’t still mend his relationships with the other Sister Wives kids. It was heartbreaking for fans to see him turn Logan away—basically rejecting a hand held out in love.

Other fans shared their thoughts on why Kody dismissed Logan’s help. If you’ve never noticed, Kody is quite competitive with his older boys, we have seen this in the past on Sister Wives.

Logan Steps Into Kody’s Shoes…

With Logan being the oldest of Janelle’s six children, he often stood in as the father figure when Kody was away so often doing his rotation at the other Sister Wives’ homes, back when Kody had other wives.

Earlier seasons showed Logan gathering up his rambunctious younger siblings for bedtime while Janelle worked. He often got them up and fed in the morning – preparing them breakfast and then shuffling the kids out the door for school, before leaving for his own classes. That’s all daddy work that Logan Brown was doing. Things that Kody should’ve done.

So, it stands to reason that these kids might still run to Logan who was an always-present father-type figure in the house even when Kody was around. So, some Sister Wives fans wonder if Kody felt jealous that Logan stepped up when Kody fell short as a father.

Sister Wives: Jealousy Goes Way Back…

But other fans think this presumed resentment towards Logan dates back even further. If you remember, Kody’s first born was Logan Brown. And Meri, Janelle, and Christine all doted on Logan, the first child born into the family.

Some fans wonder if Kody was jealous from the get-go because Logan got a lot of attention from all three wives as a baby. It’s an interesting theory about Kody’s insecurities, if nothing else.

And also, let’s be clear, Logan had what Kody didn’t – a loving relationship with his brother, Garrison, until the day he died. This is something Kody desperately wished he had but when he estranged himself from his grown kids during COVID, he lost that.

So we’re left with that awful scene of Logan reaching out with love and understanding to Kody at Garrison’s funeral and basically getting his hand slapped away. It’s just sad for everyone – for Kody, for Logan, for Janelle, and for it to happen at Garrison’s funeral.

Sister Wives: Toe-Curling Comparisons in Tell-All http://livelaughlovedo.com/sister-wives-kody-uses-robyn-for-toe-curling-comparisons-in-tell-all/ Thu, 20 Nov 2025 03:50:29 +0000 http://livelaughlovedo.com/2025/05/26/sister-wives-kody-uses-robyn-for-toe-curling-comparisons-in-tell-all/ [ad_1]

Sister Wives star Kody Brown reaches a new height for toe-curling behavior when he uses a bizarre comparison to explain his love for Robyn Brown. We heard Kody say some strange things in the past, but the new scenes for this season’s Tell-All episodes will likely top his previous words of wisdom.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown Compares Robyn Brown to What?

Kody Brown said he is tired of defending his love for Robyn Brown on the Sister Wives Season 19 Tell-All. He seems to try to normalize loving Robyn more than the other wives for the Tell-All interviewer, Sukanya Krishnan.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown - Sukanya KrishnanSister Wives: Kody Brown - Sukanya Krishnan
Sister Wives | TLC

A very angry Kody says to Suki, “You find higher love, and then everybody just slaps you down for it?” Then he goes a little further and says, “I’ll tell you what. There’s a divine aspect about my relationship with Robyn, and we have been bitch-slapped for it.”

Suki asks Kody if polygamy includes loving each wife equally. But the Sister Wives celebrity goes off on her, saying, “Try that, try that.” In other words, he suggests that Suki try to love two partners equally. Apparently, Kody doesn’t think it is possible.

Kody Favors Certain Kids and Friends?

Kody originally led Sister Wives fans to believe that he loved each wife equally. Then in the last few seasons, he confesses to loving only Robyn.

So, a very irritated Kody Brown now cuts it down the middle. His new message seems to be that while he loved his other wives, he loved Robyn the most. Not only does he put Robyn coming to him as a “divine” aspect of his life, but he also compares loving Robyn to other scenarios fans can equate to in their lives.

He starts making comparisons to having children and friends and how each one stands out a little more than the others for different things. Apparently, kids and friends, much like his wives, stand out for their different traits.

But with Robyn, he loved her more because that is where his heart led him. And that seems okay with Kody, coming from his take on polygamy. He said he found “higher love” with Robyn… but then compares this love to being a salesman.

Sister Wives: Murder a Salesman?

Kody really is fit to be tied during this season’s Sister Wives Tell-All. He is trying to make a point through his growing anger and then comes out with something bizarre.

It is so off-the-wall that people can’t make the connection Kody is trying to make. Getting back to finding a “higher love” with Robyn… he says there’s always going to be a better salesman than him. Now that’s a jump…

But he continues and asks if this means, “I am supposed to go murder that better salesman because he is getting all the deals?”

Fans wonder if he refers to Robyn as the better salesman in this Sister Wives scenario he spins. And where does murder come in? Well, Suki couldn’t get a word in through Kody’s rapid and loud speech.

But one thing the fans took away from this clip… Kody is very angry, and it sounds like this is still due to the world’s outlook on Robyn.

The Sister Wives‘ battle continues today between Christine Brown Woolley and Kody Brown, but not on the TLC screen. Instead, this new phase of their battle happens in the headlines. It started after Christine burst on the scene with her new book earlier than expected. So, you can only imagine how Kody’s bubble might burst when his ex squeezes him out of his Special Forces headline news.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown Who?

Sister Wives star Kody Brown is a contestant in the newest season of Special Forces on Fox. For the fans, that was big news. But then Christine Brown‘s new book hit the shelves last week.

Before her new book came out, Kody talked about crying on Special Forces and enduring the impossible, but then Christine’s book surfaced.

Christine’s memoir went on sale earlier than the original release date. So, this put Christine in the headlines front and center. And at the same time, it seemingly pushed Kody’s appearance in the Special Forces series into the background.

Christine Brown Woolley Goes After Kody Brown…

When Sister Wives fans first read about the many things Christine had to say about Kody and his last wife, Robyn Brown, they flooded social media.

From the stories about Robyn and Kody doling out punishment to the original three wives, to the sad honeymoon Christine experienced, she hit on many topics in this book.

At the same time that Christine’s book burst onto the scene, the social media buzz was all about Kody Brown doing a gig on Fox’s Special Forces. So, you can only imagine how he felt when he took the backseat to his ex in the headline news.

This is a guy who confessed his need to be the center of attention. And he said this as his Sister Wives cameras rolled. So when the headlines about Kody seemed to vanish and Christine’s tell-all book took over, fans assumed this made him jealous.

Apology Tour…

Christine puts up with meeting Kody face-to-face during his apology tour for the three wives. He hits each one up to say he is sorry for they way he acted and what he said in the past when Season 20 rolls out.

Christine doesn’t want to talk to Kody, but the previews show that she does. It also shows her husband, David Woolley, spending time with Kody. But they aren’t visiting; no, these two guys are in a competition. They drive race cars around the track, and it looks like each wants to emerge as the winner.

So, even on the new season of Sister Wives, Christine is taking front and center. And she does this along with David in a couple of episodes. But one of the many questions for fans after watching the latest Sister Wives preview is what Robyn is doing while Kody fraternizes with his ex and her new hubby.

So, it appears that Christine haunts Kody both in the headlines and in the new season of the TLC series.

Head back to Soap Dirt for the latest buzz on Sister Wives.

Sister Wives: Kody’s Face Raises a Red Flag for Fans In Real Time (PHOTO) http://livelaughlovedo.com/sister-wives-kodys-face-raises-a-red-flag-for-fans-in-real-time-photo/ http://livelaughlovedo.com/sister-wives-kodys-face-raises-a-red-flag-for-fans-in-real-time-photo/#respond Mon, 21 Jul 2025 15:21:52 +0000 http://livelaughlovedo.com/2025/07/21/sister-wives-kodys-face-raises-a-red-flag-for-fans-in-real-time-photo/ [ad_1]

Sister Wives star Kody Brown’s new video sparked a buzz online for fans after they got a look at his smiling face in real time, away from the cameras of his TLC series.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown Is Usually a Big Spender

Fans of the Sister Wives series are a bit confused over Kody Brown‘s presentation in his recent video. Reports indicate he just bought himself a new Mercedes sports convertible. Plus, he purchased that million-plus mansion that he and Robyn Brown now call home.

Sister Wives fans learned of Robyn’s expensive hobbies during the last few seasons. Her artwork and doll collection cost a small fortune. Kody’s daughter, Gwendlyn Brown, reported that her father and Robyn spend way beyond their means.

So, we have a good idea that the remaining couple from this polygamous marriage tends to go after the finer things in life. So why would Kody settle for less when it came to what he takes pride in the most—his looks?

 Kody’s Smile Making the Rounds?

Sister Wives fans are having a field day over Kody Brown’s new smile, and it is not because it is dazzling everyone. From the looks of the screenshot making the rounds on social media, fans think Kody got some new veneers for his teeth.

But there is a problem with this for many of the fans. While his smile shows those bright white capped teeth, it also makes something else clear.

It looks as if Kody Brown had only four teeth done. So when he smiles, the color of his veneers sticks out, showing a different color than the other teeth in his mouth.

Sister Wives: Why a Budget Version of Dental Work?

Sister Wives fans are amazed that Kody Brown looks like he’s flashing what some are calling a budget version of dental work. Others thought that it looked like he purchased the veneers online and did this himself.

But most Sister Wives fans who hopped online to comment couldn’t figure out why Kody didn’t spend the money to have all the teeth that you can see in his smile covered.

But from what you see in the screenshot above, it sure looks like he didn’t. So, for a man who seems to spend money like water, red flags fly with fans suggesting his outrageous spending might be catching up to him.

Sister Wives: Christine Accuses Kody – Turns Out She’s Right http://livelaughlovedo.com/sister-wives-christine-accuses-kody-turns-out-shes-right/ http://livelaughlovedo.com/sister-wives-christine-accuses-kody-turns-out-shes-right/#respond Wed, 18 Jun 2025 05:31:53 +0000 http://livelaughlovedo.com/2025/06/18/sister-wives-christine-accuses-kody-turns-out-shes-right/ [ad_1]

Sister Wives star Kody Brown tends to paint a picture of life in the colors that suit him at the time, and Christine Brown called him on one of his recent embellishments in the last One-on-One from Season 19.

Kody got all emotional when talking about meeting Robyn, and he said he had never felt like that before. But he seems to forget he told a different story years back, and it’s documented in his own words.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown Shoots Fireworks More Than Once

On the last Sister Wives episode of the season, Kody Brown became overwhelmed with emotion talking about Robyn Brown. A trip down memory lane had Kody telling a one-of-a-kind story, or so he said.

Lightning struck, and fireworks went off, for the man with ringlets. It was an amazing connection Kody felt with Robyn Brown, even without laying a hand on her. But here is the kicker: Kody tells Suki his reaction to Robyn is the first and only time he felt that way.

Suki showed this Sister Wives clip to Christine Brown Woolley, who was stunned to hear Kody attach this reaction to Robyn and Robyn only. He tells Suki he never felt like this with any of his other wives. But Christine remembers differently.

Christine Brown Woolley Blows Up…

Christine did the Sister Wives One-on-Ones with her husband, David Woolley, by her side. She blew up when she saw Kody’s tears of emotion while saying none of the other wives made him feel that way.

Christine squirmed a little as she blasted that clip as false. She took a stance that almost looked like, “How dare he!” At first Christine looked as if she was still a bit jealous over Kody holding Robyn above the other woman.

Sister Wives | TLC

Kody had just said to Suki that Christine has to stop comparing herself to Robyn. Then when Christine took offense to what Kody was saying about being so awestruck by Robyn, it was like it pushed Christine’s buttons.

Sister Wives: Is Christine Still Jealous—Or Does She Know the Truth?

Sister Wives fans were stunned that Christine became so adamant about this not being true, with David right next to her. It has to be hard on this new husband to listen to all this rehashing of the old husband.

But David seems like a real trooper and very much in love with Christine. While many times what we hear from Kody and his ex-wives boils down to he-said-she-said.

So, at times, Sister Wives fans think the truth falls somewhere in the middle. But not this time… Christine remembered correctly, where it seems Kody didn’t.

The Written Truth From Kody About Christine

Christine has proof that Kody was rewriting history about his immediate feelings for Robyn. He claimed he felt something with Robyn that he didn’t feel when first meeting the other wives.

In a book the Sister Wives spouses penned several years ago, Kody gives that same kind of drooling talk about meeting Christine.

From the book “Becoming Sister Wives—The Story of an Unconventional Marriage,” Kody pours out his emotions. When first meeting Christine, Kody writes, “There was an undeniable spark between us.”

Kody even remembered what Christine was wearing the first time he saw her. He also said that he knew right away she would be his wife one day. He was quite enamored by her.

Sister Wives: Meri Growls and Kody Put the Brakes On

Kody was a newlywed with Meri at the time he first met Christine, so he wasn’t wife hunting to start his Sister Wives family just yet. In fact, when Christine yelled out praise for Kody at one of the church outings, Kody said he could hear Meri “growling.” She wasn’t ready for wife number two either.

But then wife number two turned out to be Janelle, and Christine made it into the Sister Wives plural marriage later down the line as the third bride. She was also Kody’s last wife for a couple of decades until Robyn came along.

So, there you have it; Christine might have seemed a little jealous over Kody declaring a lightning bolt struck him over Robyn. But Christine was right. She said Kody described seeing her for the first time the same way he described his eyes meeting Robyn’s from across the church.

Sister Wives: Robyn Goes Against Three Ex-Wives in Final One-on-One (VIDEO) http://livelaughlovedo.com/sister-wives-robyn-goes-against-three-ex-wives-in-final-one-on-one-video/ http://livelaughlovedo.com/sister-wives-robyn-goes-against-three-ex-wives-in-final-one-on-one-video/#respond Sun, 15 Jun 2025 17:09:55 +0000 http://livelaughlovedo.com/2025/06/15/sister-wives-robyn-goes-against-three-ex-wives-in-final-one-on-one-video/ [ad_1]

Sister Wives Season 19’s final episode is a doozy as Kody Brown, Robyn Brown, Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, and Christine Brown Woolley continue their sit-down with Sukanya Krishnan. At one point, it is Robyn against Kody’s three ex-wives. The final words of this season get uncomfortable and maybe even ugly at times as the five Sister Wives spouses navigate their new lives and shake off their old one.

Sister Wives: Robyn Brown is Odd Wife Out…

The Sister Wives preview shows Robyn Brown as the odd one out when she goes up against what Meri, Janelle, and Christine have to say. Kody Brown is asked questions, but he deflects most of them and doesn’t respond to what Suki is looking for as an answer.

At one point, we will see Robyn stepping up and speaking about her husband, defending him. She’s not in agreement with what the other women say. So, Robyn seemed compelled to speak up on behalf of Kody Brown.

Last Sister Wives Episode—No More Sobbing

Sister Wives Season 19 is the longest-running season in the history of the TLC series. For the previous three episodes, Suki sat down with the five main characters of this show in a one-on-one format. And while she continues with this, things get dicey in the final episode of the season, and there’s plenty of drama.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown - Robyn BrownSister Wives: Kody Brown - Robyn Brown
Sister Wives | TLC

Uncomfortable, you bet, as this family of spouses had a lot to say about one another in the safe surroundings of the One-on-One episodes. But now, as they each see the clips of what the others had to say, Suki questions them on this.

In earlier Sister Wives seasons, the fourth wife, who today is the only wife left, would usually do these episodes with some sobbing involved. But this time, she’s like a new Robyn with a “who cares” attitude. The only allegiance she has is to Kody, and she makes that clear.

Sister Wives: Ex-Wives Put It on Kody Brown

On the next Sister Wives episode, Suki asks all five of the spouses if they would go for a polygamous marriage again, knowing what they know today.

Janelle pipes up with, “I’m not sure I would have married him [Kody]. Honestly.” She believes if she had gotten to know him for a year or so, she would not have become his bride. But Christine didn’t mince words and barked, “All he did was lie.” Meri closed the circle of the exes with, “I am not going to live polygamy again.”

And it seems Kody has a lot to do with these ladies’ change of heart for their religious beliefs on living polygamously.

Kody & Robyn Drive the Other Way…

Kody didn’t answer the question about living polygamy again. Instead he deflected by saying, “Polygamy doesn’t work if you fall in love.” Suki bites after Kody threw out that diddy to her. She said to him, “And you fell in love.”

Kody’s straight reply was, “I fell in love hard.” But Robyn’s reply was more like retaliation for what Christine, Meri and Janelle said.

She had a different outlook from the women who once shared her husband. Her outlook was also different from what she led fans to believe since the beginning of the series.

Robyn tells Suki, “I always choose Kody.” Well, that is a bit different than her long-running stance about her sister wives’ relationships being the most important.

So for Robyn today, it is Kody. And as the fans suggest, it better be, because this is all she is left with – Kody Brown.  The train wreck in slow motion continues, so tune in for the Season 19 finale on TLC at 10 pm Sunday night.

Sister Wives: Kody Gets Huge Leg Up to Keep Series Going – 20 & Beyond? http://livelaughlovedo.com/sister-wives-kody-gets-huge-leg-up-to-keep-series-going-20-beyond/ http://livelaughlovedo.com/sister-wives-kody-gets-huge-leg-up-to-keep-series-going-20-beyond/#respond Sat, 07 Jun 2025 07:59:43 +0000 http://livelaughlovedo.com/2025/06/07/sister-wives-kody-gets-huge-leg-up-to-keep-series-going-20-beyond/ [ad_1]

Sister Wives fans debate whether or not Kody Brown has more shelf life left in his TLC series, and while we know they are filming Season 20, many viewers don’t see it going past that mark. Why? Well, first of all, the show about polygamy doesn’t have any polygamous characters to offer anymore.

Plus, the family is now scattered across the US, so we see very little of the interaction between the five main characters, other than Kody and Robyn Brown. And… this interaction among Kody, Meri, Christine, and Janelle is a huge chunk of where the drama came from that kept us entertained.

Kody faced problems with his wives, but now all those problems are gone. All we get out of Robyn are excuses for Kody Brown’s behavior. Fans suggest that hearing the negative words towards each other in the confessionals is growing old. No one is face-to-face anymore.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown And Robyn Brown Bashing

Sister Wives had a different story when it first burst onto the TLC screen with Kody Brown at the helm. Curiosity about a man with three wives getting ready to take on another is what originally drew the fans in. But after seeing there was not much difference in the family, other than Kody bedding down four women, fans kept coming back to see the different interactions.

At first, people liked Kody, but that changed. The majority of the fans liked the original three wives from the start and still do. Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, and Christine Brown have a hefty fan base today.

But Robyn Brown was always seen as the home wrecker, which is something she has said on the screen. And now that Kody is estranged from a number of his kids, she’s also seen as part of that problem today.

As the Sister Wives seasons rolled by, the spouses’ layers started to peel back, exposing their real personalities. And then the marital problems weren’t light and fluffy anymore. So, fans picked their favorites, and the debates started.

Viewers talked about who is victimized and who is doing the bullying. Much like watching a train wreck in slow motion, the extra drama sparked viewers’ interest, and the rest is history. Viewers came back for the over-the-top drama, but that is starting to run dry. The series still gives fans plenty to bash Kody Brown and Robyn Brown, which is almost like a sport among some folks. But what next?

Kody’s Popularity Takes On Different Forms

Sister Wives fans have kept Kody Brown a popular reality show personality. At first, his popularity grew out of amazement for his lifestyle and his ability to keep four wives happy most of the time. But as the seasons rolled along, he seemed to get more popular for his negative behavior.

Today, many people consider Kody just downright mean, including Janelle Brown. She told Suki last week that she had never seen Kody so mean. So, now fans tune in to see how Kody’s meanness plays out next.

Despite fans thinking that Kody will soon find himself without his Sister Wives series, that might not be the case, as his popularity still seems to expand today, but as a villain.

Sister Wives Gets Big Nod from Major Publication

The TLC series has the distinction today of a major publication critiquing it. They write, “The most quintessential American TV show is ‘Sister Wives”. Plus when you search the social media sites for Sister Wives, you find that they are alive and well in the tons of comments.

So, no matter if there are good or bad comments buzzing around about Kody and the Sister Wives series, it is still popular; it is usually found in the top two for TLC shows. The same goes for the headlines – good or bad, Sister Wives shows up in bulk. Despite the show being nothing at all like it started out to be, people keep tuning in to watch “the most quintessential American TV show,” and it happens to air on TLC.

Sister Wives: Kody’s Baby Routine Installed By Robyn? http://livelaughlovedo.com/sister-wives-kodys-baby-routine-installed-by-robyn/ http://livelaughlovedo.com/sister-wives-kodys-baby-routine-installed-by-robyn/#respond Wed, 04 Jun 2025 15:31:47 +0000 http://livelaughlovedo.com/2025/06/04/sister-wives-kodys-baby-routine-installed-by-robyn/ [ad_1]

Sister Wives fans have commented on Robyn Brown‘s mothering style with her kids, but now it looks like Kody Brown may get some of that coddling as well. Fans applaud Sukanya Krishnan for calling Kody on his behavior during the most recent One-on-One episode. She told this 56-year-old grandfather to stop acting like a baby, and the viewers loved it.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown’s Baby Act Disgusted Fans

Sister Wives host Suki asked Kody Brown some uncomfortable questions, and when he didn’t want to answer, he did something weird. He acted like a preschooler who thought he was being cute.

Kody crossed his legs, flipped his head up, and then put his finger in front of his mouth. Once in that pose, he told Suki he won’t answer if he doesn’t want to. Fans could almost see a child of five emerging from within this grown man.

Sister Wives fans thought he looked ridiculous. But next came the analyzing, with fans speculating how he got to this point, and some hit on a theory that sounds interesting.

One of the first things people jumped on was Robyn Brown and her mothering style with her kids. And they thought that Kody might get some of that same coddling behavior from Robyn at home.

Robyn Brown Hovers

The original three Sister Wives moms all had similar styles when raising their kids. While they each had their own way of doing things, they were much more laid-back than Robyn. This is something they’ve discussed through the seasons.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown - Robyn Brown - FamilySister Wives: Kody Brown - Robyn Brown - Family
Sister Wives | TLC

Robyn describes her style as being very protective of her kids. The other ladies thought it was a bit too much, but they took a “to each his own” approach to it. But Sister Wives fans called Robyn everything from a helicopter mom to someone who coddles her kids way too much.

Sister Wives: Robyn See Kody Like One of Her Kids?

Sister Wives fans not only cheered Suki for her baby comment to Kody, they think they know why he is acting like that. Kody himself admits he has to be the center of attention, so you can imagine what it must be like at home when Robyn gets distracted by her kids. And don’t forget, he’s down to one wife when he once had four doting on him.

We have seen Robyn babying Kody on the show. In a recent scene she is picking stuff out of his hair as he talks into the camera. That scene is captured in the feature photo above. It is just like a mom fixing strands of hair on her kid’s head. It was odd that Kody thought nothing of it. So that leads fans to believe he is used to it.

So, Sister Wives fans suggest that Robyn’s over-the-top mothering doesn’t stop with her kids. They think Kody gets in on the act too, slipping in and insisting on Robyn’s attention, especially if she is busy with one of her five kids.

Seeing Kody take on the behavior of a young child and then having Suki call him on it was an eye-opener. This guy once took pride in himself for striving to be a strong man for his wives and kids. Now to see him revert to child-like behavior, it was creepy for some fans.

Well, you can’t ignore the hissy fits he’s had on Sister Wives. So you can’t say this is the first time he’s acted childish. But maybe his hidden child found another way to surface, and Suki happened to bring that out in him. Or, as fans suggest, Robyn nurtured the little boy in Kody Brown, and now we get to see the results. But did he have to do it on the TLC series for all the world to see?

Janelle Brown’s Brutal One-on-One Confession Proves ‘Sister Wives’ Was Never What It Seemed http://livelaughlovedo.com/janelle-browns-brutal-one-on-one-confession-proves-sister-wives-was-never-what-it-seemed/ http://livelaughlovedo.com/janelle-browns-brutal-one-on-one-confession-proves-sister-wives-was-never-what-it-seemed/#respond Tue, 03 Jun 2025 23:23:17 +0000 http://livelaughlovedo.com/2025/06/04/janelle-browns-brutal-one-on-one-confession-proves-sister-wives-was-never-what-it-seemed/ [ad_1]

‘Sister Wives’ has turned into a ruthless case study on why polygamy doesn’t work in today’s cultural landscape. After premiering in 2010, as a rare example of the foundation and structure of a family thriving to live within the confines of polygamy in a world that didn’t always understand the concept, the entire mission of the show has failed miserably. Kody Brown, a man living with three women and 18 children, was a curious outlier for some and aspirational for others, presenting a lifestyle that most reality fans were clueless about. Sister Wives immediately became a hit, with fans tuning in to observe the dynamics of a polygamist family with wives working together to provide a cohesive life for themselves and their children.

Initially, Kody appeared to be a man with the world at his fingertips, married to three submissive women dedicated completely to him. Somewhere over the last fifteen years, Kody lost the respect of his women and children, resulting in him losing his perceived control over his home. He brought a fourth wife, Robyn, and her three children into the fold and that move proved to be the shift in the dynamic that caused the bottom to fall out. As the wives left one by one, Kody’s control and confidence left with them, leaving him currently desperately clutching his remaining wife and attempting to be her everything.

Parade Magazine focused on Janelle recent one-on-one session with host Sukanya Krishnan, to talk about her feelings about Kody’s recent behavior towards her and the other wives. “I’ve never seen him be this mean before,” Janelle explained. “I feel like a lot of people want to pin the blame on Robyn. I don’t think she is necessarily innocent in this. It takes two. I think in a lot of ways he’s even more villainous, I guess, to kind of take away some of the blame from her.” Janelle’s perspective on her ex-husband’s actions being a response to his need to protect his current and only wife, proves her maturity. Where many women would look for an opportunity to blame the woman in the situation, Janelle offers Robyn grace and, although she acknowledges Robyn isn’t blameless in the situation, she holds Kody responsible for his actions, even if they are an attempt to shield his wife from any blame.

No time was wasted…

Kody proved Janelle’s theory correct during a conversation with Robyn as the two prepared to film their individual one-on-one sessions. Kody asked Robyn how she felt about heading to the one-on-one sessions, and she said she’d rather have a root canal at the dentist’s office than go through the interviews. Robyn’s downcast eyes and defeated shoulders as she got into the passenger seat to head to set spoke volumes about her mood. Kody took in her depressed posture and attempted to lift her confidence. “Is there anything I can do to protect you from this?” he asked. Robyn responded without hesitation. “No, God will protect me,” she replied. Kody’s face fell as he realized that not even the wife by his side trusts his protection or his ability to fix things for her. TheFairyGodboss.com defines someone with the Superman complex as someone who feels useless if they can’t help someone else. When Kody realizes that he is unable to be Robyn’s superman, it could potentially cause him to lash out at the others to attempt to regain her trust.

The scene with Kody and Robyn gives context to his repeated behavior of late and proves Janelle’s point. Most of Kody’s grandstanding against his ex-wives and even his children is an attempt to regain Robyn’s trust in him, therefore restoring his confidence in himself. Fans have criticized the ultimatum Kody has given his children, stating if they don’t accept and embrace Robyn, they can’t have a relationship with him. He has also received backlash for his gratuitous comments on how physically attracted he is to Robyn, when he never made those types of comments about his previous wives.

In one scene, Kody suggested Robyn looked “delicious” and made a slurping sound, suggesting his physical reaction to her looks. Besides his comments being in extremely poor taste and somewhat out of character, fans of the show assume they are fueled by Kody’s need to constantly affirm Robyn so that she doesn’t take a page out of the other women’s books and leave him too.

Janelle’s intuition about her ex-husband appears to be spot on as the series has gone from a huge thriving family to a battlefield consisting of the three ex-wives and their children versus Kody, Robyn and her children. There doesn’t seem to be any boundaries to the extent Kody will go to in an effort to hold on to Robyn’s love and loyalty, even if it means completely alienating his former family. “I’ve never seen him this mean. All the rewriting of history, trying to hurt people,” Janelle repeated. “I feel like it’s a smokescreen.”

If Kody is attempting to champion and protect Robyn at the expense of his past, chances are he is going to end up eventually losing her. If that happens, he’ll be forced to deal with himself and finally acknowledge the many mistakes he made in showing up for his former wives and his children. For anyone considering a polygamist lifestyle similar to the one Kody has become famous for, his story should play out like a cautionary tale. All that glitters is definitely not gold and just because a man has multiple wives under his thumb doesn’t mean he can keep them there forever.

Sister Wives fans got a full helping of Robyn Brown during this week’s One-on-One with Sukanya Krishnan. If it wasn’t Robyn giving flippant answers to the questions, then it was Kody Brown, as he condemned the other wives for their mindset regarding Robyn on the latest episode of the TLC series.

Sister Wives: Robyn Brown Dismisses Legitimate Complaints

Sister Wives fans already know how Kody Brown and Robyn Brown‘s behavior led to the demise of this plural marriage. So there’s nothing new here. But to hear each of the Sister Wives‘ spouses offer their thoughts on Kody and Robyn Brown, well, it’s an eye-opener.

And it’s an even bigger eye-opener to hear Kody and Robyn dismiss the negative comments. That’s because fans saw the behavior with their own eyes, which is the behavior that Robyn and Kody deny on the show.

Robyn and Kody have different approaches to these negative comments. Kody Brown gets angry, but Robyn Brown has a dismissive, snarky thing going on.

Robyn the Sacred Cow… ‘Moo’

Suki tried to drum it into Robyn that Janelle had some legitimate complaints while married to the Sister Wives patriarch. But Suki explained to Robyn that Kody shut Janelle down when she tried to talk to him about it.

Janelle then said it was as if Robyn was Kody’s sacred cow; you couldn’t say a thing about her to him.

Sister Wives - Robyn BrownSister Wives - Robyn Brown
Sister Wives | TLC

When Suki asked Robyn how she felt about Janelle’s sacred cow statement, Robyn’s first response was “Moo.” And fans describe Robyn’s presentation of that “Moo” as coming with a snarky smile pinned to her face.

This is different from the typical Robyn response when she was still in a polygamy relationship. When she had co-wives on board, Robyn would sob and sob over anything less than stellar she heard about herself.

Sister Wives Fans See Kody Brown’s Last Wife Right Where She Wants To Be

Sister Wives fans saw Robyn like they haven’t seen her before. Sure, viewers suspected that her crying wasn’t sincere. But now with her “who cares” attitude on the screen this week, it was the concrete proof.

Kody got angry over anything said about Robyn. He worked himself into a frenzy. Even Suki told him he was acting like a baby with that childish pose he made when refusing to answer Suki’s questions.

So, the Sister Wives once-shared husband went to bat for Robyn Brown, and her attitude was that she didn’t care. Today it looks like Kody digs himself in deeper defending a woman who he thinks has his back.

But fans think he might want to take stock in Robyn’s attitude before it’s too late and the rest of the family’s relationships are beyond repair. And so far on the TLC show this season, we don’t see much mending of his relationships with his children, so maybe it is already too late for a cordial friendship with his ex-wives and a loving father relationship with his children.
