Days of Our Lives early weekly spoilers for August 25th through the 29th see Rachel Black (Alice Halsey)’s wrath and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) being arrested.

As we always do on Early Edition Day, we start with what’s coming this week, then dive into what’s coming next week. So let’s get into it.

Days of our Lives: Kristen DiMera Faces the Truth About Rachel Black

On Wednesday, August 20th, Kristen has to face the truth. Rachel shot EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) because of her namesake grandma, Rachel Blake (Roslyn Gentle), going missing. If you remember, EJ told little Rachel he didn’t even know where she was. I don’t know about that. He definitely knew that he had had her sent away.

But this is all back to the modeling that Kristen has done as a mom for her child, which is not good. EJ and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) talk about next steps. EJ remembers the night of the shooting. I think Marlena already suspected that Rachel pulled the trigger. EJ may feel somewhat responsible for why Rachel did what she did, but he’s got to protect Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) from going to prison.

Steve Johnson and Gabi Hernandez Dig Up Dirt on Titan and Xander Cook

Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) talks to Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) about his findings in the investigation she ordered. I can’t wait to see what he has to say about Titan, about Xander Cook (Paul Telfer), and about Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier).

We know the mischief he found about Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), but it’s Xander and Philip that she needs the dirt on. Speaking of Alex, she wants to hire Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein). Maybe it’s to do Titan PR work. But will that be a conflict of interest since she is working for EJ at the hospital and he’s a rival? Since they have both the companies, I don’t know.

Philip Kiriakis and Belle Black’s Unexpected Moment

Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Philip share a moment on Wednesday. He tells her she deserves better. I’m assuming that means better than EJ. I just wonder if Belle is going to take a second look at Philip, even for a moment. He has his eye on another woman soon.

On Thursday, August 21st, Kristen is begging EJ for more time to deal with this terrible truth about Rachel. At the same time, we’re going to see Marlena distracting Rachel so they can talk. Plus, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and the rest of the jury deliberate Johnny’s fate.

The question is, will they find him guilty or not guilty? If they were going to find him not guilty, then they probably could have handled the whole Rachel shooting mess in-house. But we know from a behind-the-scenes photo we shared with you guys months ago that Kristen is indeed headed to Statesville Prison.

Tate Black, Sophia Choi, and Tesoro’s Baby Secret Unravels

Also on Thursday, Tate Black (Leo Howard) has a heart-to-heart talk with his dad, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). Tate is really struggling because he has no closure. He never got to meet his little baby. Of course, Tate doesn’t even know that he has met Tesoro.

Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) is also struggling with this. She knows that Tesoro is their baby, so every time she sees Tate near the kid, she starts to freak out. I don’t know how long she can handle this.

Meanwhile, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) circles back around to Sophia and encourages her to tell the truth. The problem is those were fake adoption papers. It was a scam. Sophia abandoned her and Tate’s baby

Sophia Choi’s Dilemma and Melinda Trask’s Involvement

There are just a lot of things he is not going to handle well. I don’t think Sophia would necessarily face any criminal charges just because she is allowed to give up her baby the way she did. The fake adoption papers are kind of down to Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) and her influence on her.

But still, it feels like a risk. So we’ll see if Sophia finally does the right thing. I kind of feel like she won’t, and Tate is going to stay in the dark for a while longer. But we’ll find out. We still have to figure out the fate of baby Tesoro.

Friday on Days of our Lives: Courtroom Confessions and Kristen’s Fate

On Friday, August 22nd, EJ is ready to blurt out the truth in court that little Rachel shot him. But EJ may hold his tongue for his sister Kristen and niece Rachel’s sake, at least for a few minutes. Kristen is asking Marlena for help, likely with Rachel, while she takes the fall and goes to prison for the shooting. Hopefully, Marlena l can help Rachel through the trauma as Kristen is sent away.

Brady Black, Sarah Horton, and a Chaotic Verdict

Brady interrogates Sarah, maybe about Tate and the baby, maybe about Rachel. Of course, Brady is going to be crushed to find out what Rachel Black has done, and I’m sure he is going to blame Kristen. That’s who I blame. Let me know what you think in the comments.

The trial is cut short. Foreperson Leo Stark is about to read the verdict that he and the other jury members came to, but then Kristen bursts into the courtroom and makes a scene. She’s going to confess to save Rachel. Kristen is off to Statesville. We reported this outcome back in February from a leak.

Days of our Lives Spoilers: The Leak, PR Blacklist, and Aftermath

Just real quick, if you haven’t listened here regularly: When I first published the leak that I was sent by what I now know is a very reliable leaker, Days of Our Lives‘ PR office contacted me, really ticked off about it. Giving you guys that leak got me blacklisted with them.

So kind of funny. If they had never said anything, I wouldn’t have been so certain all this time that it was true. I don’t know what they were thinking, you know, approaching a journalist like that, because it just let me know that I’d hit the nail on the head.

DOOL: Fallout for Rachel Black, Marlena, and Kristen DiMera

The week of August 25th through the 29th, with the truth about Rachel out, at least to some extent among certain people, the question is, what’s next? It seems like Rachel family and her friends are going to circle the wagons to protect the kid. But she also needs to get some help, quite clearly.

So I’m interested to see if Kristen tries to get EJ and Marlena to take a vow of silence about this issue and protect her daughter while Kristen DiMera is gone away, paying the price. Tate Black may learn the truth about Tesoro soon. We’ll know more once we see how it goes when Sarah confronts Sophia.

Hospital Showdowns and Dr. Tom Horton’s Clinic Arrives in Salem

EJ is now going to have more time to focus on the hospital with the help of his minion Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney). She’s a lot of fun. Backlash is coming though in the form of the Doctor Tom Horton (Zach Chyz) Free Clinic. It feels like Salemites might have two choices for medical care.

Marlena’s Queen of the Night dreams could restart soon now that the nightmare of the trial is over and her brain is somewhat clear. Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) and the ghost of him and the past might be back to haunt her.

Gabi Hernandez, Philip Kiriakis, and the DiMera CEO Plot Thickens

Philip is going to wake up in bed with Gabi soon. This is part of the plan she has cooked up with Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis). She kissed Xander, and I feel like that was definitely part of the plan.

I still feel like she kind of likes Xander as a person but is stringing him along because, bottom line, she wants the merger broken up so she can have Gabi Chic back. Plus, Tony has promised her the CEO seat at DiMera, a seat she has warmed before. Now that she has it in writing, Gabi is ready to make it happen.

Soap Surprises: Leo Stark, Javi’s Secret, and Julie Williams’ Bookstore

I don’t think that Gabi out here, like, corporate prostituting herself or anything. Maybe she and Philip just have a few too many drinks. Or maybe Gabi, stone cold sober, just lets Philip think that something happened. I mean, that sounds pretty chaotic. Sounds like a soap plot.

More of Javi’s past is revealed. We should be finding out more about his secret daughter soon, especially now that Leo is out of sequester. Now that the trial is over, he’s headed back home.

I wonder if Javi is going to come clean to him or if reporter Leo Stark is going to be lurking around and overhear something. Plus, Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) is buying the bookstore in the square. I wonder if Stephanie is going to be stunned to see her sexy book in Horton Town Square for sale.

Kristen DiMera’s Confession to Protect Rachel Black: Days of Our Lives Spoilers and Predictions

Our very first prediction, Kristen confesses to save Rachel. So, in recent episodes, Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) trial is rocking on and little Rachel has been bracing herself to get on the stand and testify. She is understandably nervous. Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) tried to ease her mind last week with a fun-filled daddy and daughter movie date, but she’s still on edge.

This week, Rachel takes the stand, and Kristen comforts her daughter when Rachel worries that Johnny will go to prison because of her. Tuesday spoilers say Brady and Kristen worry about Rachel. And in Thursday Days spoilers, Rachel is acting out in a way that shocks Kristen. Also this week, Rachel and Kristen run into Dr. Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) outside of the pub.

Days of Our Lives: Kristen Takes the Stand

Our leaker told us months ago, back in February, that Rachel shot EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and that Kristen is going to be heading to Statesville to take the rap for her wicked little kid. Kristen is on the stand this week. And if she knows by then that Rachel shot EJ, you know, Kristen might confess if she thinks it’s all going to come out.

Rachel also takes the stand this week. She saw Johnny holding a gun on EJ but didn’t see Johnny firing. I do wonder if Rachel’s mind has blocked out that she shot her uncle EJ after the confrontation. The shooting may have been an accident or something else entirely because Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) is all woo woo about Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) back from the dead. So, who’s to say that Rachel wasn’t possessed when she shot him? I mean, it’s Salem.

Kristen will do anything to protect her only child. She may sacrifice her freedom to protect her daughter and keep Rachel out of juvie. Brady’s been busy trying to help Rachel during this time. And of course, Brady would put his life on the line for his kids. But in this case, there’s not much he can do. But if Kristen’s willing to go down for what Rachel did, I’m sure EJ will let her do it.

Xander Cook Shuts Down Gwen Rizczech: Days of Our Lives Relationship Drama and Spoilers

Our second prediction, Xander shuts Gwen down hard. So recently on Days, Gwen and Xander had a hot moment when they were drunk and Gwen nearly got Xander back into her bed at the Salem Inn. But at the last minute, he zipped it up and walked out. Since then, he’s made it perfectly clear he does not want to get back into any kind of thing, much less a relationship with Gwen.

This week’s spoilers tell us that Sarah’s jaw drops as Gwen tells her that Xander is moving on with her. And then Thursday Days spoilers have Xander on the defensive while talking with Sarah. Obviously, Gwen would get back with Xander in a heartbeat, but he shut Gwen down once already.

Gwen’s not Getting Xander’s Message on Days

Unless Xander changes his mind and really does want Gwen back in his life, he needs to shut her down harder and do it with all caps this time so she gets the message loud and clear. Xander and Sarah still love each other even though they are legally separated. So, when Xander hears from Sarah what Gwen was saying, he may lay into her for lying to Sarah, saying he’s moving on with her.

Of course, this might be really hard for Sarah to hear about Xander right after seeing him kiss Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez). She may think, “Oh, wow. He’s just, you know, doing everybody in town.” Our leaker said that Xander and Sarah are going to find their way back to each other again, but it’s going to take some time. It’s going to be a rough road and it’s going to be closer to the holidays.

Chad DiMera and Cat Greene’s Growing Romance Amidst Illness: Days of Our Lives Spoilers

Our third prediction, Chad gets strep and Cat returns the favor. On Days of Our Lives last week, Cat and Chad were stuck overnight in an elevator and they almost kissed. Later, Chad bumped into Cat at the hospital. He found out Felicity Greene (Kennedy Garcia) has strep throat and then Chad took Cat home and noticed her fever and symptoms. Looks like she has got it as well.

Chad was really sweet and he took care of Cat, which turned into a passionate kiss, which isn’t what you should be doing with someone who’s infected. She’s worried Chad’s going to catch it. Looks like it’s too late. Spoilers for Monday have Chad continuing to take care of sick Cat, but spoilers for Wednesday say Chad needs her to return the favor and Cat is there for Chad.

Cat Getting Closer to Chad on Days of Our Lives

Cat and Chad have been getting closer over the past few months. They could be in a relationship by this fall. Chad told Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) to mind her business when it comes to Cat. It looks like he has forgiven her for posing as Abigail Deveraux (AnnaLynne McCord), and he thinks Julie should let it go, too. But I don’t think Julie’s going to like Cat helping Chad through an illness.

He may quarantine at Cat’s apartment to keep the kids and Julie and JJ Deveraux from catching the nasty bug. We’ll see. Once Julie hears that Cat had strep first, she may figure out pretty quickly that Chad was up close and personal with Cat for him to get infected.

Marlena’s Deception and Hypnosis Sessions: Unraveling the EJ DiMera Shooting Mystery

Our fourth prediction, Marlena lies to Belle. We saw Belle encouraging EJ to get hypnosis, but he couldn’t see the person’s face no matter how hard Marlena tried to help him. Since then, he got even more desperate and he threw Belle under the bus trying to get a mistrial.

Will Marlena find out more about the shooter and lie to Belle? Spoilers for Monday say Belle talks to Marlena, probably about Belle telling EJ she hates him. Marlena gets a new patient and I wonder if it’s little Rachel. Maybe Brady wants Marlena to use hypnosis to calm Rachel’s nerves before court.

Tuesday spoilers confirm that EJ goes back for another hypno session. Whatever comes out of it must be big because spoilers for Wednesday have EJ hitting Marlena with a subpoena for her to testify in Johnny’s case. Thursday spoilers see Marlena offering Belle a new theory. In the promo, Belle’s asking Marlena if she knows who shot EJ.

Will Marlena Tell the truth?

But I just wonder if Marlena is going to be honest. Obviously, Belle’s mad at EJ, but if she finds out Rachel shot him, she’s going to bring it to court. Marlena may be hoping reasonable doubt will save Johnny. And if she finds out Rachel’s the shooter, she may try and cover for her.

Marlena already knows Rachel probably needs therapy, but going to juvie isn’t the best way. Marlena has had a lot of loss in her life already. I wonder if Marlena figures out Rachel shot EJ and tells Kristen the truth, and that’s why she confesses on the stand. Marlena may lie to Belle, but I doubt she would lie on the witness stand.

Sophia Choi’s Schemes to Steal Tate Black: Days of Our Lives Summer Drama and Predictions

Our fifth and final prediction, Sophia’s plotting to steal Tate. Sophia right now is stressing because of all of her lies about the baby and the adoption. On Wednesday, she sees Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Tate kissing and tells Arianna Horton (Marissa Reyes)  that nothing’s turning out the way that she thought. Friday spoilers have Sophia trying to comfort Tate. In the summer promo, Sophia is there when Holly’s asleep.

She’s kind of adjusting her clothes and showing off her bra and taking some naughty pictures while Holly’s sleeping. Sophia made a massive mistake by lying to Tate about their son. In the past, we have seen Sophia play dirty games to try and get Holly away from Tate. I doubt Sophia listens to Ari when she tells her just forget him.

This photo thing that Sophia does may be to make Holly look bad so Tate will dump Holly and come running back to Sophia for comfort. It’s pretty sketchy that she’s taking pictures of Holly when she’s out of it, though. But given all the other things that Sophia has done, who’s to say what she’s capable of and not capable of doing, right?
