As we always do on early edition day. We talk about what’s coming the rest of this week and then dive into what’s coming the week ahead.

Bold and the Beautiful: Brooke Loses It

If you are behind on episodes this week, I’ll catch you up real quick. Everybody is in Italy for Forrester. Everybody that matters. And we have seen Nick desperate to get over to Capri so he can steal Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) away and hopefully steal her heart. But Eric Forrester (John McCook) tried to kick him out of the event. Meanwhile, Brooke lost her temper because she was having to pose with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and act like a couple when they are not.

Brooke’s really sick of hearing the reporters asking Ridge about his and Taylor’s engagement. Brooke finally snapped. She stormed out of the event to glare at the beautiful blue waters of the Mediterranean. Ridge followed and then demanded that Brooke come back inside and finish the event. She’s getting really mad at Ridge. Brooke said she’s sick of him stomping on her heart.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Shelia Confronts Li

Back in LA, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) told Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) she’s upset because Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) is not answering her texts and calls. Then the woman in question shows up to pick up takeout from Iljardino. Sheila demands to know what Li did with Luna Nozawa‘s (Lisa Yamada) remains so she can say goodbye and get closure, but Li’s not giving answers. We also see her medicating Luna. Li is hoping for the best even though her granddaughter/niece remains unconscious.

Sheila’s Suspicion and Luna’s Mysterious Condition in Bold and the Beautiful

On Thursday, July 31st, Sheila suspects that Li knows something about Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) that she’s not telling her. Li is being super coy when Sheila asks if her granddaughter Luna was buried or if Li spread her ashes somewhere. Sheila just wants to be able to say goodbye to Luna. She really thinks she’s dead.

Of course, we all knew she wasn’t because Brad Bell couldn’t write a surprise to save his life. It’s crazy, so predictable. But Li is smart. She could have lied and just told Sheila, “Oh yeah, I spread Luna’s ashes at the beach.” Then Sheila would go out there, say goodbye, and stop asking about Luna. Instead, Li is dodging and weaving because the writing is so predictable.

This is going to lead Sheila to do some spying. I presume Deacon is very supportive of Sheila this week. He is comforting his wife, even though Deacon absolutely despised Luna for killing his friends. But Deacon is trying to be nice about it because as far as he knows, Luna’s dead and gone.

Meanwhile, Luna is not on a ventilator, so she is breathing on her own, which is a good sign. But Li seems quite worried. She’s determined to save Luna’s life. We’ll have more scenes of Luna unconscious on Thursday where Li has gotten her hidden away.

Brooke’s Emotional Breakdown and Nick’s Bold Move in Italy

In the midst of Brooke’s emotional breakdown on Capri, Nick walks up on the two of them and Ridge snaps and tells Nick he’s not part of this conversation. Ridge tells Nick to go away, but he’s not going to. Brooke is quite torn as Nick tells her to come with him while Ridge demands that she stay there. This is the last straw for Brooke.

After Ridge and Nick argue, it looks like Brooke tells Ridge to screw off and she walks off with Nick. Brooke seems to have finally hit her limit with Ridge, which makes sense because he is the king of mixed signals. I do expect that Eric Forrester (John McCook) is lurking and watching. If he sees Brooke going off with Nick, Eric’s going to demand that Ridge stop this and get back with the woman he’s meant to be with.

Also on Thursday, Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) tells Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) she should consider modeling for Forrester Creations, but she insists she is a jewelry designer. That’s what she does. As they’re talking, Will’s phone chirps and he kind of laughs. He’s going to tell Electra that it’s great. They know it’s not Luna texting him anymore. Now, it’s understandable, but Will and Electra sure are dancing on Luna’s grave. Little do they know, no grave to dance on.

Will and Electra’s Conversation and Nick’s Proposal Plans in Bold and the Beautiful

On Friday, August 1st, we’re going to wrap up this week with more of Will and Electra’s chat, continuing with him again pastoring her about modeling, at least while Brooke’s not around. The question is, can he talk her into it? That Remy Pryce (Christian Weissmann) incident may have Electra more interested in retaining her privacy and staying behind the scenes. Looks like we may get a chat almost just like the one they had on Thursday. We know how Bell loves to do that.

Back over in Italy, Nick is making big plans to propose to Brooke on his boat. We’re going to see her and Nick enjoying lunch out in Italy with a breathtaking view. Looks like they are going to be on the boat. Also, this week, Eric asks Nick to give up on Brooke and not propose. Of course, Nick’s not going to listen to Eric. He’s got big plans.

Upcoming Life-or-Death Drama and Production Errors in Bold and the Beautiful

At some point early next week, we have huge things, life or death stuff happening in Italy, the big accident that we know is coming thanks to Brad Bell giving an interview to an Italian magazine, not thinking it was going to wind up translated in America, and we translated that. You can watch it here.

The week of August 4th through the 8th, Finn (Tanner Novlan) uncovers a clue. He just noticed Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) incision is too small to have been used to remove a giant cancerous brain tumor. Here’s what’s funny. Grace cut open the back right side of Liam’s head, very clear in the surgical scenes. Yet when Finn was checking the incision, he was on Liam’s left side checking the back left of his head.

There should be no incision there. This is some sloppy production work. Grace overheard Finn. She may try to run and cover her tracks or just run away before she is busted because Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) told Liam the surgery cost a million bucks. That’s going to be a huge red flag to Finn and Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jonas) when they hear about Grace taking that much money. They’re going to know their suspicions are correct. She’s up to something nefarious on Bold and the Beautiful.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Shelia Finds Out Luna’s Alive!

Very soon, Sheila is going to learn that Luna is alive and Li is hiding her. Then early next week, we’re going to get Ridge’s big aha moment. It looks like Brooke has an accident. She’s in danger, and Ridge dives in to play hero. That’s when he realizes Brooke really is his destiny. Nick may not get the chance to propose. Or maybe he pops the question and doesn’t get an answer. Also, something is wrong with Nick’s boat.

That’s why the mechanic was tinkering with the steering wheel. It looks like something happens with the craft and Brooke may fall overboard. She’s going to end up at risk and at the end of it, she’s going to get back with Ridge. Nick’s going to walk away from Brooke likely forever. Once Ridge tells Brooke he chooses her, obviously that’s it for Nick. He doesn’t stand a chance.

Brooke cares about Nick, but Ridge is her soulmate, her destiny, all that good stuff. We’re going to have the montage of her life and their romance flashing before Ridge’s eyes as he’s trying to save her. Eric, of course, is going to be feeling triumphant about all of this.

But Ridge is also going to be dreading what’s ahead with Taylor when he gets back to LA because she is going to be crushed. She’s probably going to be furious because she thought as soon as Ridge got back, they were going to start planning their wedding.

But that is never going to happen because Brooke has taken her man yet again.We’ll also have More of Luna fighting for her life. But the question remains, what kind of life could she have left? She either has to run away or face arrest.

Bold and the Beautiful had Brooke Logan needing a nudge to figure out her newest game plan with Ridge Forrester after Nick Marone made a play for her last week on the CBS soap.

For a little while there, it looked as if Brooke didn’t realize what Nick dumped in her lap, that is, until Katie Logan planted the seed for her sister. And that seed grows next week on Bold and Beautiful.

Bold and the Beautiful: Brooke Logan Gets Jump Start

Last week on Bold and the Beautiful, a shocker emerged for Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), who found herself as the object of affection for an old flame, Nick Marone (Jack Wagner). Nick reminisced about the days when he and Brooke were an item. He even planted a romantic kiss on Brooke.

The oldest Logan sister needed this, as she’s been turned down by Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) several times since he landed back with Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig). She was feeling lonely and rather doomed. But then Nick gave her the jolt she needed… in more ways than one.

B&B: Brooke Realizes Ridge Forrester is Jealous

Bold and the Beautiful has Brooke Logan feeling desired once again. While it’s not by the man she wants, Nick’s attention seemed to pull her out of the doldrums. And Nick also gave her something else.

He gave her enough ammunition to probably get Ridge Forrester back. But she didn’t realize this until Katie Logan (Heather Tom) came along. As Brooke Logan tells Katie about Nick’s flirtatious visit, she mentions how Ridge came through the door, catching them in the middle of their chat. And she also mentioned how Ridge seemed very agitated over the scene he stumbled upon.

Brooke tells Katie that Ridge had an attitude toward Nick, and Katie tells her that it is likely because Ridge is jealous. Then it was like a lightbulb went off over Brooke’s head, and it was as if she hadn’t thought about this before.

So, the Logan matriarch put the wheels in motion. But it was surprising to fans that Brooke couldn’t figure this out all by herself.

Bold and the Beautiful: Going After Ridge From Two Angles

With the help of her sister putting the pieces together last week on Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke wastes no time in testing the waters of jealousy. But instead of dangling bait over Ridge’s head, Brooke heads to Taylor first.

She did enough damage during her visit to Taylor to send the world-renowned doctor over the edge. A desperate Taylor tries to corral Ridge Forrester with a proposal of marriage next week on Bold and the Beautiful.

It seems Taylor realizes that Ridge is jealous of Brooke fraternizing with Nick. So maybe Taylor pounces with this marriage proposal to make sure that jealousy doesn’t push Ridge back to Brooke. Taylor picks a romantic dinner out to pop the question.

But as the Bold and the Beautiful episodes roll along, it seems Nick becomes a real thorn in the side for Ridge. First, he overhears Taylor’s proposal. Then Nick sprints back to Brooke to tell her all about it.

B&B: The Truth Will Set Who Free?

B&B also has Ridge telling the truth to Brooke towards the end of the week, but the details are vague. We can only assume he lowers the boom to Brooke about accepting Taylor’s marriage proposal.

But if Brooke manages to get Ridge jealous enough, she could win him back. So maybe the truth is that he is still her destiny. Next week it also looks like Brooke Logan makes the most of Nick’s attempts to reboot their relationship in more ways than one on the CBS soap.

I will say right off the bat, it is very likely about Liam and has nothing to do with Nick. I’m going to tell you all about it. When confirming her return, actress Ashley Jones promised some very emotional scenes are ahead. She posted on her Instagram after a day of work at the CBS soap as Doctor Bridget Forrester that it was “kind of an emotional day for me shooting.” She then added, “will be fun to explain later.” Any guesses?

B&B Spoilers: Fans React to Bridget Forrester’s Return

Fans had a ton of guesses that they shared with Ashley Jones. Some seemed likely, and some just didn’t add up. Several people wanted to know if Bridget would reunite with her ex-husband Nick. I’ll tell you right off the bat, that’s a big no. Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) is at a low point.

And Nick returns to see Brooke to rekindle their romance. Jack Wagner just confirmed in an interview that there’s a huge romantic storyline coming for Brooke and Nick. You may have seen some misinformation spreading, saying that Jack Wagner is back on contract. People are saying that because he’s in the credits.

Nick Marone & Brooke Logan Reignite Old Flames on B&B

Well, I showed you in a very recent video—if you haven’t seen it, I’ll show you again—the Bold and the Beautiful credits. If you look, you’ll see Heather Tom (Katie Logan), and just below her is Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester). If Jack Wagner were on contract, he would be right between them because contract credits are in alphabetical order.

Instead, he’s on the next screen with just Lisa Yamada (Luna Nozawa). That’s where they have high-profile recurring or guest stars. He is not back to stay as Nick. He confirmed a short arc that will air over the summer.

Lisa Yamada and Jack Wagner: Summer Arcs on B&B

Lisa Yamada is leaving to go do her Prime Video series. Jack Wagner has already wrapped filming and is off doing When Calls the Heart. That’s where he’s on contract for the Hallmark primetime series. Maybe you watch it, maybe you don’t. So, while people are wondering if Bridget sees her ex Nick, first of all, there’s no romance there.

Second, I don’t even know if they will overlap at all because his final scenes air in July. Those scenes are part of a remote shoot that took place in Italy, where it’s Nick, Brooke, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), and Eric Forrester (John McCook). Meanwhile, Bridget’ character is debuting back in LA in early July. So an overlap at this point seems like a slim possibility. Definitely no romance.

Bridget Forrester’s Storyline: Out for Medical Drama?

Other fans wondered if Bridget will be dealing with a gunshot victim or dying Liam. This is where things get much more likely. Ashley Jones herself revealed her return without giving away any big Bridget spoilers. However, a big-name website ran what I consider to be a very misleading photo along with the story.

It basically just repeated what she posted on her own Instagram. In the photo, there’s Bridget Forrester at the hospital with Doctor Finn (Tanner Novlan), Steffy Forrester, and Brooke Logan. I’ll show you the photo below. It got a lot of people worked up and wondering.

B&B Rumors: Death Scare for Liam Spencer?

I looked at the photo and thought, “Huh, Steffy and Finn being there if Liam’s dying makes sense, but why would Brooke be there?” It didn’t add up. Then I remembered this scene. This is not a new photo.

This is not a future episode photo. The photo that this big website chose to use—and not reveal—was from the past. It was actually from 2023.It was back when Eric Forrester was supposedly dying. Of course, we all know he didn’t die.

Bridget Forrester’s Return: Is Liam Dying?

With Doctor Bridget Forrester coming back, and her being one of the few people who knows all about Liam’s brain tumor and cancer diagnosis, clearly Bridget is back for some big “will he or won’t he die” drama for Liam. Not only because she’s on his team, but also because of the timing.

Real quick, we’ve got Luna at Steffy’s house this week, presumably waving that gun around. Liam just said that he and Finn need to protect Steffy at all costs. So, sure, it’s plausible that Liam could take a bullet to protect Steffy.

Luna Nozawa’s Drama & Steffy Forrester’s Danger

However, we have to consider the timing of Bridget’s scenes. Ashley Jones said she’s back on air at Bold and the Beautiful starting with episodes airing Monday, July 7th. That’s about 25 episodes from now.

If Bridget is back for Liam, that seems like a super long time for him to be suffering from a potential gunshot wound if he took a bullet to save Steffy from Luna. Not that he wouldn’t do it, but it just seems increasingly unlikely.

Cancer Crisis for Liam Spencer: Will Bridget and Finn Save Him?

Of course, Liam could be shot and linger in a coma, all that. But it seems way more likely that Bridget is back for the big climax of Liam’s terminal cancer story. By the way, July sweeps kicks off on Thursday, July 3rd. Bridget is back in day 3 of July sweeps.

That means Liam’s death, near death, or being saved from certain death is going to hit its high point in sweeps. Remember, Bridget and Finn found a way to save Eric from his terminal cancer. They may work a miracle for Liam as well.

Scott Clifton’s Emmy-Winning Streak as Liam Spencer

Honestly, it’s hard to imagine Bold and the Beautiful is going to kill off Scott Clifton. He is an amazing actor. He’s won three Daytime Emmys playing Liam Spencer. He won Outstanding Younger Actor his first year on the soap in 2011.

Supporting Actor two years later in 2013, and Lead Actor four years later in 2017. Maybe Brad Bell (head writer and showrunner) is doing this death and cancer storyline to get another trophy for Scott Clifton as Liam Spencer.

Liam Spencer’s Decline: Pills, Pressure, and Pain

By the time Bridget is back, it seems like Liam is going to be in much worse shape. He is looking frail and gaunt. He has blood pressure issues. He’s popping pills prescribed by Doctor Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech).

Finn is pretty much now Liam Spencer’s personal daily physician at this point. It’s bad. Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) is begging Liam Spencer to tell his loved ones he’s dying, but he’s still resisting.

B&B Exit Rumors: Luna Nozawa & Hope Logan’s Future

In another 3+ weeks, by the time Bridget shows up, the Luna issue should be settled and done. Luna’s got to go shoot her series for Amazon Prime Video.  Hopefully, we’ll see her exit in handcuffs or a body bag—either one.

At that point, Liam’s health should be really dire. Bridget is there to offer her medical expertise and find a way to save Liam or at least make sure he’s not in pain as he dies.

Can Bridget, Finn, and Grace Buckingham Save Liam?

Right now, everybody thinks Liam has lost his fight with the brain tumor. Things could turn around. Right now, he has Grace, Finn, and the neuro team working his case. But Liam also heard his recent scans aren’t promising.

Bold and the Beautiful is still beating the drum that Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) and Beth Spencer’s (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) dad is going to die. Liam Spencer will die. That’s what we’re hearing. But Bridget and Finn may collaborate with Grace and find some miracle cure for Liam.

Liam Spencer Death Watch: Will B&B Go There?

I will say this is going to be a huge deal for July sweeps. Really huge if Brad Bell kills off Liam. It’s hard to see where things go with Liam from here with Steffy happily married. I would guess that if Liam survives, Hope is going to ditch Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and run to Liam.

I was hoping Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) would be featured in a meaningful way because she’s crazy about Liam. But they only brought Ivy back to introduce Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace), and she’s gone. So we’ll see.

Bridget Forrester’s Medical Miracle—Or End for Liam?

Clearly, Bridget’s back for a medical crisis. The only person sick is Liam. Doing the math, I feel sure that Bridget’s comeback coincides with Liam hitting his low point and being on his deathbed. I also really think there’s a strong chance it will play out just like it did with Eric.

Everybody worried, everybody devastated, everybody saying goodbye, then a miracle cure. And if not, you know what? I hear that General Hospital really needs a new Lucky Spencer, or Scott Clifton could go back to GH as Dillon Quartermaine. We’ll see how it goes.
