Beyond the Gates spoilers for Oct 20-24, 2025 find Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) in danger and Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammad) completely ticked off.

As we always do on early edition day, we start with what’s coming the rest of this week and then dive into what we should be seeing next week.

Beyond the Gates: Leslie Thomas’ Wicked Plot and Randy’s Deadly Order

On Wednesday, October 15th, BTG, we are going to have Dana “Leslie” Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) using the past to make some sort of play for her future. And somehow Dr. Ted Richardson (Maurice Johnson) is involved in all this. Leslie is still pushing to be with Ted. She’s jealous of his friendship with June (Jasmine Burke).

And you know Leslie can trace a line to see that Ted is basically flirting with another waitress. Although what Leslie doesn’t realize is that with June it is quite innocent. She’s not the shark that Leslie is. And who I think she always has been. So whatever plotting she gets up to, we know it’s going to be wicked.

Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry) gets a deadly order to carry out and the target is shocking. Now, just at first glance of this spoiler, you would think it would be his mobbed up boss, Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom), who’s ordering him to kill somebody.

Like maybe he wants Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy) gone because he knows a lot about Joey’s business. I wonder if this is Hayley Lawson (Marquita Goings) asking Randy to do something dodgy to someone and hurt them. It would be kind of interesting if Hayley asked Randy to target her to somehow play into some kind of sympathy with Bill.

We’ll see. I don’t put anything past Hayley after she faked that pregnancy and faked the miscarriage and surgery with Randy there helping her. Didn’t Bill notice they didn’t even get a bill with a copay for all that nonsense? Come on.

Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Will Dani Come Clean?

Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) has some tough questions for Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) about Bill. Now, Hayley told Andre that Dani is still hot for Bill, but at the same time, Hayley said she thinks Andre could make Dani happy and she was giving him some advice to make that marriage work because she wants Dani out of the way.

She wants her to stay with Andre. And I just wonder if Dani is going to admit to kissing Bill twice or if she is going to keep that secret because she and Andre agreed to have an open thing, but I think it was also supposed to be an honest thing. Plus, Kat shares a big relationship update and so does Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix).

Kat’s obviously talking about terrible Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria) and Nicole is talking about very handsome Carlton that we haven’t gotten to see a whole bunch of. Now that Tomas has finally given Kat a little bit of a thrill in the country club closet, that’s slightly better.

But that’s not the problem with Tomas. He has been fixated on her sister, took her sister to bed to soothe his ego. So, Kat can’t trust him because what happens the next time he gets his wolf fee wings heart? Is he going to run back to Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) again? I bet he would.

Beyond the Gates: Shocking Proposal and Hayley’s Poisonous Birthday Treat for Bill

Thursday, October 16th on Beyond the Gates, we’ve got Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) blindsided when Bradley Smith (Mike Manning) drops to one knee and he proposes. He already invited Martin to move back home. They already told Samantha and Tyrell they were putting the family back together.

The kids are already excited about that. They’re going to be super duper excited that Smitty proposed and I believe this vow renewal is going to happen really soon, could kick off by the end of the week. Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla) thinks Dani got robbed on Thursday.

I don’t know if that’s metaphorical, like she got robbed of having Bill in her life, or maybe there’s actually stuff missing from her house. Maybe that’s what Randy was sent to do, was to do something at Dani’s house. It could be about things being rearranged for Andre to move in, Dani making room for him. We’ll see.

Beyond the Gates: Did Haley Cause Bill’s Stroke?

I’m interested to see what crazy Hayley’s next move is, though, because Hayley has a birthday treat for Bill, but somebody else winds up with it. And I wonder if whatever birthday treat sounds like food. And I wonder if Hayley had drugged it or something.

Because now we have to question if that stroke he had was organic or if Hayley somehow caused it. Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) and Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) don’t see eye to eye on her pregnancy and Naomi is at the point where she’s about to decide something, like terminate the pregnancy or not.

Beyond the Gates: Vows Broken, Vows Renewed

Then on Friday, October 17th episode of Beyond the Gates, we’ve got Nicole and Ted feeling kind of sad about their marriage, years and years of marriage that are now destroyed and lying in ruins around them. I think they are going to be reminded of all that love and loss as they watch Martin and Smitty renew their vows when their own vows have been broken and cast aside, at least by Ted. I think Nicole has kept hers.

Eva and Tomas figure out that they got played. I wonder if Leslie tricked them somehow, to wind up somewhere together, because she is continuing to matchmake them. Basically, Leslie is living vicariously through Eva and she sees Kat as Eva’s Nicole. So, she is definitely going to conspire to help her daughter. Kat, meanwhile, is making plans for an unforgettable night.

Now, that could be her helping to plan the vow renewal ceremony or it sounds like it might be a big night for her and Tomas and maybe whatever has happened with Eva and Tomas is going to interfere. Also, there is a joyous event for the family and that obviously is going to be Martin and Smitty’s vow renewal ceremony on Friday, could carry over into the following week.

Beyond the Gates: Bill Hamilton in Danger, Hayley’s Vendetta, and a Dani-Bill Reunion?

The week of October 20th through the 24th on Beyond the Gates, Kat and Tomas may be at odds again because of whatever happens with him and Eva that I suspect is the work of Leslie. Martin and Smitty are back together. Vows renewed. Things are great. June is in the mix and is accepted. So, the only issue they really have is Joey, but that issue is looming.

Meanwhile, Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) and Joey continue to heat up. But I am worried in the wake of Doug McBride’s (Jason Graham) death and Donnell McBride (Alex Cheeks) going back to college if Vanessa is going to spiral and embrace more and more of Joey’s darkness and start doing dark deeds herself.

Hayley is plotting against Bill. That’s going to kick into high gear. We already knew that Randy was her secret co-conspirator to some extent, but I think now we know a lot more. They are cousins, but we still don’t know Hayley’s core issue with Bill. This seems like far more than just jealousy over Dani. I think Hayley came into that family targeting Bill. And I think this is a long-running, very personal vendetta. I hope we find out more soon.

Beyond the Gates: Relationships in Chaos

Eva soon meets Jacob’s brother, Izaiah Hawthorne (David Lami Friebe). And he’s going to turn Eva’s head away from no-good Tomas. Ted likes June. It’s platonic. But I do think that she is going to tell Ted that his wife threatened her and that should be, that could change things between them and he’s going to realize that it wasn’t Nicole.

Dani and Andre’s marriage solidifies, but can she forget Bill once and for all? Or because of Hayley’s plotting, will Bill and Dani draw closer together, especially if Bill’s in danger? Kind of feels like Dani and Bill are on a long, slow road back towards a reunion. We’ll see. Nicole keeps seeing Carlton, but she may find herself unable to feel that same vibe she felt for Ted.

On 90 Day Fiance, Jasmine Pineda refuses to hide her pregnancy in spite of Matt Branistareanu wanting to keep it under wraps. The couples retreat is a bore in spite of the arrival of Elizabeth Castravet and Andrei Castravet. Darcey Silva and Georgi Rusev struggle after returning from Bulgaria. And Julia Trubkina makes a decision for her next steps with or without Brandon Gibbs. Let’s take a closer look in this recap of Season 9, Episode 14 You Play With Matches, You Get Burned.

90 Day Fiance: Jasmine Pineda Refuses to Cover Up

A move to Miami hasn’t made things sunny again for unlikely 90 Day Fiance couple Jasmine Pineda and Matt Branistareanu. The pair build a bassinet for their baby girl. Matt sulks about the bed being pink. Knowing Jasmine is upset at his resistance to having a daughter. Jasmine wants to meet his family. But Matt balks. Suggesting his Romanian culture and religious mother aren’t accepting of having kids out of wedlock. Especially since she’s legally still married to Gino Palazzolo.

But Jasmine Pineda sounds a little hypocritical here. Since her family back in Panama has no idea that she’s pregnant with Matt’s child. And thinks she’s still with Gino. However, it doesn’t stop her from being pious. And pushing Matt to introduce her to his family. He suggests if he does she will have to tone it down. This of course doesn’t go over well. And Jasmine Pineda even says Matt is sounding a lot like Gino at this point.

Later, Jasmine Pineda gets ready to go to dinner and meet a lifelong buddy of Matt’s named David on 90 Day Fiance. He’s a fellow Romanian and a former roommate. While Matt suggests she cover her baby bump, Jasmine goes the other way. Showing out in a skintight dress. Jasmine lays it all out to David. And Matt belittles her. David actually stands up for Jasmine and tells Matt to grow up. But later Gino threatens Jasmine with deportation, accusing her of marriage fraud. So there is a lot at stake.

90 Day Fiance: The Couples Retreat Goes Downhill

When Yara Zaya planned a carefree ski weekend with her Happily Ever After cast mates, she couldn’t have possibly imagined she’d be the one crying in a hot tub. Since Elizabeth Castravet and Loren Goldstone Brovarnik are the ones beefing. Andrei and Elizabeth arrive just after the others finish breakfast. Jovi Dufren and Yara Zaya have made up some what after Jovi joked about Yara’s unfortunate teenage looks.

But Yara dons her best ski bunny look and jokes about how she slays not sleighs. But tobogganing is the activity for the day. And a skittish Loren is a mess when she sees the sleigh hill. An annoyingly overenthusiastic Elizabeth admits she gets some satisfaction from Loren’s squirming. Libby and Andrei go first, followed by Jovi and Yara. Ultimately Loren makes it down the hill with Alexei. The guys go for round two while the girls make awkward chit chat.

It’s hot tub time on 90 Day Fiance. The couples descend into the tub and Yara Zaya brings up Jovi’s dig the night before. Saying he called her ugly and tearing up before climbing out of the tub and leaving. Everyone piles on Jovi, especially Andrei. Jovi really doesn’t seem too bothered by her walking off. Jovi points out that Andrei wasn’t even there. And Elizabeth chimes in that women are affected from these types of comments. Yawn.

Happily Ever After: Darcey and Georgi Hit Bottom

On 90 Day Fiance, Darcey Silva tries to decompress during a yoga class with sister Stacey Silva. The twins moan, groan and burp afterwards. Stacey Silva feigns concern for Darcey’s ongoing marital woes. It seems after the blowout in Bulgaria, Darcey and Georgi Rusev have barely been speaking. Relying on texts. And when Georgi waffled about paying his share of the rent, Darcey added her dad to the text to get his attention to the matter.

The twins head to dinner with their husbands and friends. It’s clear Georgi is over Darcey’s behavior. And tired of her other set of twins being on constant display. Darcey whines about Georgi wanting to travel abroad alone. And secure his own apartment in Bulgaria. Their friends agree this is a bit of a red flag for a married couple. And Darcey even hints at divorce. Georgi denies he is using her and doesn’t appreciate her bringing up the D-word.

90 Day Fiance: Julia Makes up Her Mind

TLC couple Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina are at odds on 90 Day Fiance. Julia took a breather from their problems and headed to New York City solo to see her parents off. During her time away she came to a decision. She will sell her apartment in Russia. And head off to an open ended European vacation. With or without Brandon Gibbs. Julia returns home to find him cutting the grass. And blurts out her decision

Brandon Gibbs is calm. He is in on the travel. So much so in fact that he already quit his job. Julia gets a little defensive rather than excited. Suggesting he could change his mind. But he assures her he’s serious. While Brandon seems eager to put Julia first, he still wants to start a family. But he’s willing to put it aside for now to focus on the marriage. Next hurdle will be telling his parents that Julia wins this one. Till next time!

Days of Our Lives sees Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and his wife, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), as we know, are so deep in love, but this is the furthest apart they’ve been in years. Still, I’m confident Xander is going to win back Sarah. Plus, a reliable leaker said their reunion is happening before the holidays. We’re going to talk about what it’s going to take to get Xarah back together again.

Days of Our Lives: Xander and Sarah’s Strained Relationship and Co-Parenting Struggles

We’ve seen the back and forth between Xander and Sarah as they both ignore their deep feelings for each other. And it’s been months. They will each give each other a lingering look. We can hear their hearts pitter-pattering, but neither one of them has been willing to swallow their pride and make amends as they keep butting heads while trying to co-parent little Victoria. It may take a legitimate miracle to push these former lovebirds back together.

It’s been frustrating because I am a fan of this couple to watch Xander and Sarah as everything gets worse and worse for them this summer. They both cannot seem to get over each other’s bad behaviors. Neither of them has clean hands in this situation.

The Root of Their Rift: Philip’s Forgery, Xander’s Rage, and Sarah’s Betrayal

Xander felt so betrayed because Sarah kept that lie going about Philip’s forgery that cost Xander half of Titan Industries. Sarah claimed it was for Xander’s own good, but all he sees is that his precious wife, Sarah, lied and took the side of Philip the weasel. That led Xander to beat his brother Philip to a bloody pulp, which led Sarah to be disgusted at his violence and turn her back completely on Xander, who was equally disgusted with her.

I do think Philip in that beating, was taking the brunt of all of Xander’s frustrations over Sarah fibbing to him and being disloyal. We all know Xander has deep-rooted mommy and daddy issues. And Sarah is his heart and soul, her and their daughter. That’s his whole world. So for Sarah to choose to be loyal to Philip, to somebody else over him, that’s just too much for Dandy Xandy to deal with.

Legal Separation, Lingering Love: Why Xander and Sarah’s Divorce is Unlikely

Sarah and Xander are legally separated and trying to learn how to co-parent their toddler, Victoria. But our leaker also says they will never be divorced, at least not as part of this scenario. Everybody in Salem knows that love is still there. All the fans know it.

Sarah has forgiven Xander for far worse than beating up his brother. Like when Sarah let it slide that Xander lied about her baby dying and stole another baby to put in Sarah arms because Xander hought that was the best thing for her. That’s kind of the same logic Sarah used when she let the whole Philip lie slide.

You’d think that Xander and Sarah could sit down and hash this out and talk about all the many mistakes of their past, but so far, they’re both just too hurt still and have such a dim view of each other. As mad as Xander is, Sarah has forgiven him much worse, so I think he needs to let it go. But again, I’m back to the mommy and daddy issues.

Who Will Make the First Move? Xander, Sarah, and the Brady Factor

In the end, the big question is, who’s going to cave first and realize we need to get back together? Will Xander’s therapy with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) lead him to realize he needs to make things right and win back his soulmate, Sarah. And then he goes out and does all the wooing and all this hard work. Will it be him that has the realization first?

Or could it be that Sarah is the one who sees that she needs to win back Xander because she can’t move on, because he is her person? In the meantime, Brady Blcak (Eric Martsolf) throwing himself in Sarah’s path more and more. That’s going to start happening a lot more. Brady is hoping for a romance with Sarah.

I think Brady being in her way could help Sarah see the light where Xander’s concerned. Maybe she figures out even though her husband can be a very bad boy, he’s also the only man for her. In that case, it could be Sarah putting in the work to rekindle things with her hubby.

Obviously, it would be more stereotypical if Xander’s the one doing the pursuing, so it would be new and different if it was Sarah working to win that reconciliation and to get Xander back in her house, her bed, and her heart.

Overcoming Trauma: Family Support and Alex’s Plan for Xander & Sarah’s Reunion

Over the past few years, Sarah and Xander have been through so much. There were kidnappings of both Sarah and Victoria. Plus, there was Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) death that rocked the whole family. And then awful Fiona Cook (Serena Scott Thomas) showing up and running over Sarah while drunk and paralyzing her, then trying to kill her by throwing her down the stairs.

But still, people are rooting for them. Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) is rooting for her Aunt Sarah to get back with Xander Plus, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) was speaking to Sarah as well. He knows she still loves his cousin Xander, but when Alex told Xander that he told Sarah she was missed, that didn’t go over well.

When Alex talked to Xander, all he got was glares and pushback. Alex keeps working on Xander to legitimize Philip by assigning him the co-CEO position and thinks that could help things with Sarah. But Xander’s just so salty about it all still. If he keeps doing the anger management sessions with Dr. Marlena, that could help sway Sarah.

She has been worried about Xander’s temper and violence ever since he threatened to take a baseball bat to Brady when Xander thought he ran over Sarah. Of course, Xander would never, ever lay a hand on Sarah or Victoria. But at the same time, Sarah doesn’t think that Xander’s temper and tendency to punch first and ask questions later is a good influence on Victoria. She thinks it’s a very bad thing on Days of our Lives.

Philip’s Redemption and Xander’s Path to Forgiveness: Overcoming Interlopers

We have heard from our leaker that Philip is going to be involved with efforts to help reconcile his brother Xander with Sarah because obviously, Philip’s whole thing played a really big role in their rift. So him making it right is a decent thing to do. That seems like a sure sign that Xander is probably going to cave and do what Alex and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) suggests: play nice with Philip, make him officially the co-CEO so that the forgery thing is off the table.

That would make sense then if Xander did that, why Philip goes to bat and tries to help the marriage. But we’ve got interlopers. Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) still hot for Xander and Gabi Hernandez’s (Cherie Jimenez) playing games with him and with Philip. And Brady is crushing on Sarah soon. So, if it’s Xander who’s doing the wooing to win back Sarah legitimizing Philip at Titan, I think, would help his case. So would getting an anger management achievement certificate from Marlena.

Xander Proves Himself to Sarah on Days of Our Lives?

Plus, maybe Xander does some deed to prove he’s a changed man. That would help, like if he protected Philip or he did something really nice for Brady or saved their daughter from a burning house or something. Or maybe Xander gets a chance to rescue Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) or even Sarah herself. I think it’s going to be some combo of words and deeds that could help Xander get a new shot with Sarah.

However, if it is Xander who is the one getting wooed, I think Sarah ould make very short work of this. She could just tell Xander very sincerely, “I’m sorry. I was wrong for keeping that secret about Philip. I’m proud of all the hard work you’re doing to make yourself a better man for our daughter.” And then Sarah can show him she’s wearing lacy lingerie. And that should be the end of it. Marriage reconciled because men are much simpler creatures, am I right?

Love Island USA season 7 winner Bryan Arenales has broken his silence after he and Amaya Espinal ended their whirlwind reality TV romance.

“Amaya and I have decided to go our separate ways,” Bryan, 28, wrote via his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, August 27. “Unfortunately, we were not on the same page, and that is OK. We both gained clarity that we are on different paths right now. I am thankful for the time we have spent together, and I wish her nothing but the best moving forward.”

Amaya, 25, confirmed several hours earlier that the duo broke up following days of speculation.

“Bryan and I are no longer together,” she wrote in a social media statement. “After leaving the villa, it became very clear that we were on two different journeys. Our visions didn’t align and relationships are supposed to be a team sport. You don’t have to drink the whole sea to know it’s salty.”

Several days earlier, fans speculated that Amaya and Bryan broke up after noticing they unfollowed one another on social media. Amaya further stoked the fire when she reposted several shady memes about heartbreak.

“When I finally pick myself back up and never let my walls down like that again,” one caption read.

Amaya and Bryan found a connection inside the Love Island USA season 7 villa, leaving both as the winners and in an exclusive relationship.

“We care deeply about each other and we don’t want to rush things,” Bryan exclusively told Us Weekly in a cover story published last month. “Her happiness is very important. My happiness is very important. We got the love that we got [from fans] because we’re letting things happen naturally instead of doing stuff for the public eye, and we’re gonna continue doing that.”

Despite plans to make a relationship work, Bryan was later accused of infidelity when he was spotted with two women at a nightclub. During the season 7 reunion, Bryan denied the accusations and stressed that he had a “lapse in judgment” at the time.

“They’re trying to just throw any hate my way,” Bryan said. “And with the cheating video, the hosting, I got paid to be there, I used to bartend back in the day, I had a lapse in judgment, we’ve talked about it.”

After cohost Andy Cohen pressed for more details, Bryan explained that he was “pouring shots around” to individuals in the crowd.

Amaya, for her part, said during the taping that she believed Bryan.

“We definitely spoke about it,” she said. “I’m also not a woman who would be with someone who doesn’t respect me. So if I’m still with him, it’s because the relationship dynamic is healthy and great.”

A woman’s suspicious discovery inside her boyfriend’s car has TikTok viewers convinced that he is guilty of infidelity. In a viral TikTok, Phoebe Adams (@phoebeadams112) says she was “rummaging” through her boyfriend’s car when she came across some evidence TikTok detectives are sure signals cheating: a single earring. 

Adams films her clip, which earned 687,000 views as of Monday, inside her boyfriend, Dan’s, car. She sits in the passenger seat while he’s driving, demanding to know why there is an earring in his car. 

“What is this?” Adams says she sniffs a single stud earring. 

“It’s probably yours!” Dan says in between laughs.

“I don’t think so,” Adams says, showing viewers the earring. She and her boyfriend go back and forth, with the boyfriend insisting that “no other girl” has been in his car for the past two years, except Adams and his mom. He tells her she probably dropped it a “couple of months ago.”

She’s not buying it: “How do I know that, though?” She gives it another sniff, stating that it smells “freshly worn” (whatever that means). Dan continues to laugh (according to viewers, a guilty laugh) as Adams continues to interrogate him. 

Eventually, Adams says it could be hers, but it also could not. 

“Oh my god,” Dan says. Eventually, Adams ends the video by whisper-shouting to her viewers, “It’s not mine.” She laughs before the video closes out. 

‘She left it for you’

It didn’t take long for TikTok viewers to issue their verdict for Dan: Guilty. 

“‘Maybe a couple of months ago’ that’s when he cheated,” a top comment with 12,000 likes read. Another was convinced the “other woman” left it for Adams to find. 

“The way I would crash out,” another user added. Some even construed Dan’s laugh as a sign he was being unfaithful.

“He’s like way too nervous?” a user noted. “Why is he laughing so defensively? He’s definitely lying/acting.” A third user accused Dan of “gaslighting” Adams when he said it was probably hers. “LIKE WE DONT KNOW OUR OWN JEWELLERY,” they wrote. 

A boyfriend’s car: the ultimate fidelity test?

Adams’ video isn’t the first one to go viral about finding highly suspicious things in a partner’s car. The Mary Sue recently covered a story where a woman found a Louis Vuitton purse–that wasn’t hers–beneath her boyfriend’s driver’s seat. Devastated, she ended up breaking up with him. 

In another viral TikTok, a woman says she knew her boyfriend had another girl in the car because she noticed certain marks on the windshield. In her clip, she shows how her boyfriend’s windshield had leftover marks from an Octobuddy, a phone case that sticks to surfaces. She nor her boyfriend owned such a phone case. 

How common is snooping?

While not every girlfriend may have been actively seeking evidence of cheating (Adams says she was “rummaging” through Dan’s car), several people in relationships do snoop on their partners. In a study by Hodge, Jones & Allen Solicitors, 35% of people surveyed snooped on their partners’ phones, with 4 in 10 doing it at least once a week. 

According to the research, “over half of those who did snoop on their partners found evidence of cheating.” However, the site states that what constitutes cheating is subjective. For some, micro-cheating is enough to break things off, as one Mary Sue story covered.

The Ultimatum: Queer Love Recap – Episode 6

Third Week of Trial Marriages (Continued)

Mel + Marie

Yes, we have a rare and forbidden meetup of original partners mid-first trial marriages, but unlike the AJ/Britney meetups, this one is on camera. Marie picks Mel up in her car, and they have the entire conversation right there. Marie says Dayna made it very clear she’s so happy to have Mel as her trial wife. “And then after this lovely conversation, Haley comes and tells me there’s proof that you and Dayna are fucking,” Marie says.

She asks if they’ve fucked and if Mel is lying. Mel says no, that it didn’t happen. Well then where is this coming from? Marie wants to know, because she’s very fucking triggered. “Is this going to soil everything?” she asks. Mel says she and Dayna have a connection and that they kissed but that’s the extent of it.

WHY IS SHE LYING????????????????????????????????????????????? THE TRUTH WILL COME OUT EVENTUALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS SO SHORT-SIGHTED!!!!!!!!!!!

Haley + Magan

Magan gives Haley the lowdown on Mel confronting her and also tells her Dayna called her to tell her she doesn’t want to marry her. She thinks Mel and Dayna came in ready to protect each other because they know they’ve done wrong. Haley says Dayna was talking about how she and Mel have been holding each other. “Yeah, holding each other or humping each other?” Magan asks. Whatever receipts exist about Mel and Dayna’s physical connection, Magan seemingly has them, too.

“You’re not gonna slander my wife,” Haley says, to which Magan responds “PERIOD!”

Haley says marriage is not the milestone for her anymore, and Magan says she’s so proud of her. She’s showing herself to the world more, and the world could use more of her. Magan then squats Haley’s body? And they roll around on the floor. Okay, these two are simply in puppy love and nothing can touch them.

Dayna + Mel

Mel tells Dayna that Haley told Marie there’s proof they’re fucking, and this sets Dayna all the way off. She wants Haley’s phone number. “Slimy bitch,” she says. I for one would certainly never get on Dayna’s bad side. I don’t want her to run my food truck into the river, and I don’t even HAVE a food truck!

Five Days Until the Changeover

Kyle + Pilar

Kyle introduces Pilar to her mom and dad, who are very cute. Kyle’s upbringing was pretty lax, and as a result, she doesn’t always tell someone like a partner when she’s leaving or where she’s going, and she knows that’s something she should work on. Her mom warns Pilar against becoming Kyle’s therapist, which, fair. Kyle’s mom, almost acting as therapist, asks what issues Pilar has with Haley, and Pilar opens up about her family stuff.

Kyle’s mom actually gave Kyle’s dad a marriage ultimatum when they were first together, and she says you have to think to yourself not can you see your life with the other person but can you see your life without them? Ultimately, most of Kyle’s mom’s advice is geared toward making things work with Haley, which is nice. This is sweet! We could use some sweetness on this show, especially now that shit really is hitting the fan.

AJ + Marie

AJ asks if Marie prefers sunrises or sunsets, and Marie says a sunrise means she was up all night which is never a good thing so she’ll go with sunset. Fair enough! Marie says Mel is incredibly adament that she did not have intercourse with Dayna. She thanks AJ for making a safe space for her to fly off the handle about all of this. AJ says the topic of marriage with Britney feels scary, but Marie has given her the space to express herself. “Not to be gay or cheesy,” AJ says, and Marie calls her gouda, correcting it to “gayda,” the gooiest and cheesiest. At least Marie has AJ, who really does seem like a good friend through all this.

On a lighter note later, the two are talking about sex toys, and AJ notes poetically that she likes her shit swaaaaaaangin.

Dayna + Mel

Mel wants answers from Dayna. “You don’t know that I love you?” she asks. She tells the camera she has told Dayna she has “more than friend feelings” for her, and Dayna admits she wants her but isn’t sure what that means. You know what time it is! Time for People Having Serious Conversations Under Blankets on the Couch!

Mel really wants answers! What the fuck are we doing!, she wants to know. I think she’s probably spiraling after being confronted by Marie and knows she could lose her when the truth comes out so wants to know if Dayna is a viable option walking out of all this. Dayna says she can’t answer her questions without talking to Magan. Fair! Dayna worries that if she doesn’t tell Mel what she wants to hear, then she’s gonna shut down on her. Mel just wants her to be real, and she says every time Dayna talks about Magan she feels like she isn’t focusing on her. Idk girl, I think it makes sense for her to be thinking about talking about the person she has been with for 1.5 years a bit more than the person she has been “with” for < 3 weeks.

Dayna says the “breakup” didn’t feel real with Magan until very recently. Now is when I would normally chime in to remind us all that the breakups indeed aren’t really real and are just a construct of this show’s wild premise, but…in their case? It might be kind of real! I think Magan is kind of done with Dayna!

To avoid making any direct statements about her own feelings, Dayna instead says to Mel she thinks Mel knows how happy she is. Alright, we’ll leave it at that I guess!

Later in the episode, they get…matching tattoos. Matching four leaf clover tattoos. Dayna admits it isn’t the best idea but that she isn’t really a good idea person anyway. Magan and her have talked about getting matching tattoos, so she anticipates Magan getting mad. This is wild! Dayna needs to make up her mind: Mel or Magan? She’s sending a lot of mixed signals to them both. And Mel is really making the decision to get this tattoo with Dayna after Marie’s breakdown?! WHAT IS GOING ON.

Haley + Magan

Magan is meeting Haley’s family! And they’re doing it over a meal at home rather than out, which is pretty cute. Magan is excited to meet Haley’s dad but scared to meet her sister. She doesn’t have a sister herself, and she knows that kind of relationship can be intense. Haley also notes that her niece is like a sister to her. Magan asks if her outfit looks okay. Omg, she really cares a lot about this. Not beating the Falling In Love With Your Trial Wife allegations! Though to be fair, I don’t think either of them are really trying to beat those?

Haley tells her dad, sister, and niece how similar she and Magan are. They all know how different she is from Pilar. “We’ve always been super honest,” Magan tells them (for three weeks, I’ll remind you).

Haley’s sister immediately asks about kids, and Magan notes they discussed it on their first date. She reiterates she wants kids. She’s Lebanese and comes from a culture that emphasizes the importance of it. Haley tells her family that the fact that Magan wants to carry does nudge her a bit. This is not the Haley her sister knows! Haley’s dad is surprised, too, especially by how easy Magan and Haley are making this absurd situation seem.

Haley’s niece says Magan seems really genuine and kind but also starts crying, saying she really likes Pilar. Omg, someone assure this teen! I don’t think teens should be brought into the universe of this show at all! It’s too confusing and weird! If my sister were like “here’s this person I just met who I am considering a life with instead of the person I’ve been with for a DECADE” I would be so perplexed! But Haley does assure her that Pilar will always be in her life.

Magan reiterates that the whole experience has been eye-opening for her, and that not matter what a lot is going to change.

Britney + Marita

Marita wonders if she’ll have to change Britney’s name in her phone from “wifey” to “divorcee.” See, I love that these two are so unserious about it all. Suddenly, they’re crying and emotional, but it’s just because they both know what they want and aren’ sure if they’re going to get it from their partners.

Marita asks Britney what she hopes to see from AJ, and Britney isn’t sure what to expect from her. For what it’s worth, I do think Britney could end up with a ring on her finger at the end of all of this. I feel less sure of it for Marita.

But no one can say Marita didn’t have the best Trial Wife! Britney cooks her OXTAIL. It looks so fucking good!!!! That’s REAL love right there.

Ashley + Bridget

Not too much going on with these two, per usual. Bentley the dog prefers Bridget. They discuss how they need to better advocate for themselves when it comes to their Original Partners. The most interesting thing to me about this conversation personally is that Ashley lives in St. Pete! I’m sure I’ve probably seen her at the Dog Bar with Bentley.

Final Night of Trial Marriages

Dayna + Mel

On their last night together, Dayna and Mel read to each other from letters they wrote. Dayna wrote hers at 5 a.m. “I never knew how much I needed you,” she reads. Mel wrote a letter, too. “You have made me the happiest I’ve been in a long time,” she says. Who knows, maybe these two could go the distance!

Haley + Magan

These two are also NOT ready for The Changeover. They’re crying and cuddling in bed. Magan isn’t sure if she’s happy or sad right now. She has realized how important it is to make decisions for herself and that it’s possible to have the things you want.

Haley then says I LOVE YOU. And Magan says I LOVE YOU, TOO. They are IN LOVE. This, to me, is way juicier than sex.

The Changeover

Joanna “I’m an Ally” Garcia Swisher (yes, that’s her government name) is here to guide the stressed out lesbians through their feelings about The Changeover, during which they will exit their Trial Marriages with the people they chose and enter into new Trial Marriages with the Original Partners they came to the show with.

In a talking head, Pilar reveals her worst fear is that she’s ready for marriage and Haley is in love with someone else, to which I say: YIKES, GIRL. Because that’s indeed what has occurred.

Also heading into this conversation: Magan reiterates that every step she took with Haley was authentic but that she doesn’t necessarily want to close the book on Dayna. Dayna says Mel has promised her things beyond what Magan has promised. She says something about Haley getting her claws in Magan, and that’s such misdirected animosity. Haley has not manipulated Magan lol, Magan has made all her own choices. But I think choosing a narrative where it’s all Haley’s fault probably feels easier for her.

Sitting at the table, Britney shares that her Trial Marriage was amazing and that Marita was a huge cheerleader for her. I think these two are probably some of the only ones here who got real value out of this whole experience, and it’s because it had nothing to do with romance or sex but just personal growth.

Marita agrees. Britney gives her the “romantic antics” she doesn’t get from Ashley. Britney cooked her oxtail last night! AJ interrupts here: “I’m sorry?” She’s like THAT was a boundary! No oxtails were to be made! This is fair. This would be like me making my chai for another woman if I were on this show (in case it needs to be said: I WOULD NEVER BE ON THIS SHOW). Cutting through the brief humor of this moment, Ashley says she can see Britney giving Maria all the things she can’t. “I think they’d be a great couple honestly,” she says. AWK.

Ashley and Bridget have similarly had a very wholesome Trial Marriage focused on personal growth. Ashley compliments Bridget’s style and confidence. Bridget is proud of Ashley for building her self confidence and appreciates that she checks in before she leaves, which as we know Kyle does not. Bridget’s advice to Marita and Ashley is to both acknowledge their own faults. If Marita needs grand gestures, they need to better understand each other’s feelings more, Bridget suggests. Marita does not like receiving this relationship advice. She feels like Bridget is making assumptions. Ashley tells her to chill out, because they’re all in the same boat and probably all making assumptions about each other’s original relationships after the Trial Marriages. Here’s the thing about Ashley and Marita: They just truly don’t seem like a good fit for each other and not for any dramatic reasons. It’s just not a fit!

Pilar and Kyle are back to being in a very good place. Pilar acknowledges they had their hard moments but feels they came out stronger than ever. Kyle says Pilar helped her work through her emotions and be more understanding and mature through conflict. She tells Pilar she has so much time to work through things with Haley. DOES SHE? Because Haley seems to be very in love with someone else!

Okay, FINALLY, it’s time for some drama! Pilar does not care for the fact that Haley posted a quote on her Instagram story that said: “Sometimes you want to disappear but all you want to do is be found.” Now, personally, I think the main reason she should be mad about Haley posting this quote is because it doesn’t really make sense? And sounds silly? But no, Pilar is mad because she feels like Haley is passive aggressively suggesting something about their relationship and her new relationship with Magan. But Haley REALLY gets the kicker here: “You’re gonna talk to me about stories when you posted Kyle with heart eye emojis and then blocked me???????” DAMNNNNNN. Bridget is quietly like “I didn’t know about that.”

BLOCKED?

BLOCKED.

Pilar scoots past this little heart eyes / blocked accusation and asks if there’s really nothing more to Haley and Magan.

“We’re very authentic,” Magan says. “We’ll tell you anything you want to know.”

Things just got good. Is it just me or is this season WAY more bonkers than last season? And that’s really saying something…

But oh wait, it’s about to get even wilder.
