It is equal parts comforting and strange to be back in my old neighborhood! It feels like both yesterday and a lifetime ago simultaneously that I called Dumbo home. The neighborhood has changed a lot – but many things like the stunning views, beautiful cobblestone streets, and buzzy energy haven’t changed a bit. I caught sunset here the other night before dipping into a local bar for happy hour and it all made for the perfect NYC summer evening.

While I have worn a lot of really beautiful pieces from Saks Fifth Avenue, I have to say that I think this look might be one of my all-time favorites. The drape and print of the top paired back to my favorite skirt silhouette feels so chic, yet so easy. I added city sandals to make walking a breeze and it added a bit of a casual flair to an otherwise feminine and elegant look. The gold accessories created the perfect finishing touch and seemed to compliment to sunset!
