A wedding photographer shared a bizarre voice note she received from a former client requesting to be featured more frequently on her social media page.

The caption of the video reads, “I thought it was cute and flattering at first, but then it escalated.”

What did the bride request from the wedding photographer?

In a TikTok with over 697,000 views, Charity Mahomey (@charityrose) plays a voice note from a bride she previously photographed at her wedding.

“When you shot our wedding in May, it just brought so much joy and happiness when you would post about our wedding. And since then, obviously, you’ve shot other weddings and been posting about them. I guess I’ve been kind of jealous,” the bride says.

The bride points out that she “invested a lot” in the photography services. She asks if Mahomey would post more content from their wedding.

Mahomey responds to the bride, first thanking her for including her on her “special day” and acknowledging the bride’s feelings.

“What’s your hope here? I obviously want you to know you and your husband and your wedding was beautiful and of course worth sharing,” Mahomey writes.

The bride responds, “I don’t know the resolution. I just know there hasn’t been content about our wedding in a long time.”

“But something definitely needs to give because it’s really bothering me,” she continues.

Mahomey assures the bride that she hasn’t been forgotten about and asks her how often she would want her to post.

Then the bride makes a demand, writing, “I think maybe every three posts would definitely make me feel better.”

In a follow-up video, Mahomey briefly offers to meet up with the bride in person to discuss her request.

What did viewers think of the bride’s request?

In the comments, viewers call out the bride for seeking validation through the wedding photographer’s social media account.

“For some people, planning and having a wedding is the most interesting thing they’ll ever do, I swear to god,” one writes.

“I’d tell her if she needs more attention, reassurance, validation, she needs to seek that from her husband. Not the internet,” another says.

“I’m sorry, but this is the type of woman who wanted a WEDDING and not a husband, but what the actual,” a third adds.

@charitymahomey POV: Your past bride sends you a voice memo saying she gets jealous when I post other couples 🥹💕 I thought it was cute and flattering at first but then it escalated. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As photographers, we want every couple to feel just as cherished even long after the wedding day. But it got me thinking, how do you balance posting new content with making your past couples feel seen + celebrated too? Photographers—what would YOU do in this situation? Drop your advice below! ⬇ cause idk where to go from here and what to reply. 😬 And yes obvi she’s blocked from this #aita #weddingphotographer #jealousbride ♬ so high school – overlays ⸆⸉

Others suspect that the request was part of a skit to promote Mahomey’s photography services.

“Is this a skit? I genuinely can’t tell,” a commenter writes.

“Masterful job marketing here. I got baited from another platform, and I’m not even remotely close to marriage. Excellent work,” another says.

“I don’t care that it’s a skit, I’m entertained lol,” a third remarks.

The Daily Dot reached out to Mahomey for further comment.

Woman Shops at Ulta. Then Workers Warn Her: ‘Don’t Move’ http://livelaughlovedo.com/woman-shops-at-ulta-then-workers-warn-her-dont-move/ http://livelaughlovedo.com/woman-shops-at-ulta-then-workers-warn-her-dont-move/#respond Fri, 29 Aug 2025 01:33:43 +0000 http://livelaughlovedo.com/2025/08/29/woman-shops-at-ulta-then-workers-warn-her-dont-move/ [ad_1]

woman shares her experience at Ulta (l) Ulta logo (r)

Women are often told their sense of hyper-awareness is paranoia. But for many, that vigilance stems from lived experiences, from uneasy walks home at night to discomfort in something as routine as taking an Uber during the day.

You can even find guides on how to do basic errands “as a woman,” such as grocery shopping or commuting, which says a lot about the reality women live in.

Recently, one woman’s shopping trip to Ulta showed how “relaxing” in public is rarely a good idea.

TikTok creator Colleen Shehan (@colleensheehan7) shared a video after visiting an Ulta in Tampa, near a Target and HomeGoods.

She had planned to film a haul of “acne safe” products, but instead ended up shaken by what employees told her. Her clip has more than 35,800 views.

“I went in there just to get some of my new products and more makeup,” she said, explaining she even had her Notes app open to stay on track. After about 45 minutes inside, she headed to the register. That’s when things took a turn.

According to Shehan, the cashier looked at her and said, “Don’t move, don’t react. The cops are coming to escort you. There’s been a man that’s been following you around for like 45 minutes.”

She recalled having noticed him earlier while grabbing something from a low shelf.

“I go and stand up and like turn my head to look behind me and he’s like standing there,” she said. At the time, she brushed it off—until employees confirmed he had been banned before but kept returning.

“I’m so mad at myself because I’m usually so hyper aware,” she admitted. “The one time I wasn’t, like this happens. Honestly, I just feel really violated.”

In the comments, users praised both Shehan’s awareness and the Ulta staff for stepping in.

“I was once 13 years old walking maybe 5 blocks home when I felt someone behind me,” one person shared. “Your brain doesn’t always perceive someone as an immediate threat, but that’s probably what kept you safe.”

Others questioned the store’s handling of a man they allegedly knew about. “So they know he’s done this before but they let him in anyway???” one user asked.

Another, who said they used to work at Ulta, explained, “For the employees’ safety they never wanted us to confront these people. Instead call the cops and let them handle the situation!”

Another pointed out the frustration many women feel: “1. Shout out to the staff. 2. This is EXHAUSTING for women ugh.”

Ladies be aware of your surroundings. It’s so annoying that we even have to live like this.

What Happens If You Wash Your Hair With Nair Accidentally? http://livelaughlovedo.com/what-happens-if-you-wash-your-hair-with-nair-accidentally/ http://livelaughlovedo.com/what-happens-if-you-wash-your-hair-with-nair-accidentally/#respond Mon, 18 Aug 2025 08:24:59 +0000 http://livelaughlovedo.com/2025/08/18/what-happens-if-you-wash-your-hair-with-nair-accidentally/ [ad_1]

woman shares shower experience (l) shower products (r)

Losing hair is devastating for anyone, but for women, it can feel especially personal.

Hair is often tied to identity, confidence, and how many women present themselves to the world. So when it suddenly falls out in chunks, the shock can be overwhelming.

Did she wash her hair with Nair?

TikTok user @purple_lovely007 posted a now-removed video showing large clumps of hair scattered across the shower floor.

In the caption, she claimed someone at her sister’s house had deliberately tampered with her shampoo. The clip has since been viewed more than 5.1 million times.

“I came in to take a shower,” she began, before panning her camera toward a bed with several people sitting on it. “And all my mother[expletive]hair fell out. Thanks to this [expletive] … and her kids. They put Nair in the [expletive] conditioner.”

Nair is a chemical hair remover that works by breaking down the protein structure in hair, causing it to weaken and detach from the skin.

She added in the video’s text overlay, “The reason why I carry all of my own products no matter where I go!! I don’t use nobody stuff.”

Who’s at fault?

In a follow-up video, @purple_lovely007 said the incident happened while she was visiting her sister. She had used her sister’s shampoo and conditioner without thinking twice.

“I blamed it on the kids and her,” she admitted. “I blamed everybody in the house because I was in shock.”

After washing and conditioning her hair, she said it “started to fall out bad … real, real bad. Like that was a lot of hair.”

She described rinsing off in a second shower because “hair was all on my body,” and the video her followers saw was filmed afterward, while she was cleaning up the mess.

“They was all just looking at me after we’d been talking about it for hours,” she said. “I ain’t never had hair loss like that. I’ve never seen my hair fall like that.”

However, she also clarified that she doesn’t actually know for certain if it was Nair. “My skin didn’t burn. That’s why I know it’s not Nair,” she said. “I still don’t know what to think or say.”

Other possible reasons for hair loss

According to Healthline, sudden hair loss can be triggered by a variety of factors, such as stress, alopecia, thyroid disorders, and diet.

Sometimes conditioner simply helps release hair that has already detached from the scalp.

The outlet advises treating hair gently, avoiding excessive heat, and seeking medical help immediately if large clumps begin to fall out.

When viewers believed her sister or her kids were responsible, many urged her to take action.

“Call the police. Using any product with the intent to harm is a crime. It’s assault,” one person wrote.

“She has secret animosity for you girl,” another commented.

Others questioned how she didn’t notice. “Nair has a strong smell. How did you not notice,” one user asked.

Some shared similar experiences. “My stepdaughter did this to me. On purpose. Following her mom’s instructions. I had chemical burns and deal w hair loss to this day,” one wrote.

Did This Ojos Locos Customer Get Too Comfortable http://livelaughlovedo.com/did-this-ojos-locos-customer-get-too-comfortable-with-server/ http://livelaughlovedo.com/did-this-ojos-locos-customer-get-too-comfortable-with-server/#respond Tue, 15 Jul 2025 13:54:24 +0000 http://livelaughlovedo.com/2025/07/15/did-this-ojos-locos-customer-get-too-comfortable-with-server/ [ad_1]

woman coming her mouth while laughing(l) Ojos Locos Restaurant front(r)

When you work in the service industry, you get used to certain comments. But sometimes, a customer says something so out of pocket, it catches even the most seasoned workers off guard.

That’s what happened to former Ojos Locos worker Maria (@ookaymaria), who shared a storytime that’s racked up over 1.1 million views on TikTok.

Former Ojos Locos worker shares uncomfortable interaction

Maria says she worked at Ojos Locos for about a year before quitting four months ago. During her time there, she came across all types of customers, but one interaction still sticks with her.

“There was this one specific guy who was in his 40s,” she begins. “He came in on a regular busy night… ordered his food, beer, tipped, and left.”

At first, he barely spoke. But the following Tuesday, he may have gotten too comfortable.

“He asked for me specifically,” Maria says, adding that Tuesday is “lingerie day” at Ojos Locos.

“He was much more talkative this time,” she recalls. “We chatted for a little bit.”

But then, his daughter walked in.  “He blurted out—I wish I was joking—‘Oh yeah, I told my 13-year-old daughter you were my girlfriend,’” Maria says.

She stood there stunned. “We didn’t talk at all the first time… and then the second time, he’s that comfortable? I thought he was gonna follow it with ‘LOL, JK’… but he didn’t.”

Harassment like this isn’t uncommon in restaurants

For women working in the service industry, uncomfortable comments are hardly unusual.

A 2021 report from the One Fair Wage organization found that more than 70% of women restaurant workers have experienced some form of harassment at work.

It also showed that harassment increased during the pandemic, when tips were already more unpredictable than ever.

When behavior like this gets shrugged off, it becomes even harder for servers to speak up or feel safe. And in jobs where tips pay the bills, it’s often easier to laugh things off than risk upsetting a customer.”

Some viewers focused on the substantial tip the man left.

“$40 tip hmm I would’ve been like, ‘40 is all your girlfriend gets?’” one person joked.

“Those guys live in a fantasy world,” another wrote. “Dating a random girl they fantasize about out of nowhere.”

Some were a little too excited. “Go to Ojos on Tuesday,” someone wrote, accompanied by a note-taking emoji.

But others warned that Maria’s experience is all too common. “Ojos Locos is a dangerous spot,” one person commented. “You mostly deal with men who are older and get little action. You just doing your job gets misconstrued.”
