Young and the Restless spoilers for October 13th-17th explore Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor)’s move that is way too desperate, Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) being stalked while she’s with her new guy, and three new faces on the CBS soap opera.

Young and the Restless: Kyle Abbott’s Desperate Move

We have this new LA story kicking off next week, and it comes with a huge recast and two new characters, plus lots of intrigue for people who have flown into LA from Genoa City. This week, Kyle told Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) that he can’t let Claire go. He can’t lose her.

Kyle’s parents are very concerned about his recent life choices, and he’s so desperate to win back Claire that he’s pondering doing something really dumb that’s just him repeating the same mistake. Kyle is afraid if he gives Claire the space she asked for, she’ll realize what she had with him was never real love. But Kyle has already pushed her too far, like when he proposed and wouldn’t give her a moment to recover from finding out about his betrayal with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). So Claire had enough, and that’s why she dumped him.

Y&R Claire Grace’s LA Danger and Holden Novak’s Charm

Kyle doesn’t want to sit back and let Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) get closer to Claire. We already saw Kyle say some harsh things to her about going to LA and seeing Holden there, making everything worse.

Despite Jack and Diane telling him not to, Kyle is pressing forward with his plan to chase Claire to LA and try to win her back. Of course, that’s the worst thing Kyle could do, and he’s just going to push Claire further away and right into Holden’s arms. But Kyle is going to do what he wants.

Next week, spoilers reveal Kyle goes to Claire’s mom, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), asking her for info. Kyle presses her, but Victoria isn’t comfortable with the conversation. He’s begging Victoria to tell him where Claire is staying in Los Angeles. Kyle is certain that Victoria knows where her daughter is bunking, and he just needs an address.

Whether Victoria gives it up or not, Kyle likely won’t stop until he gets it one way or another. Expect Kyle to be on a plane soon, heading to LA to track Claire down. But it doesn’t look like the romantic reunion he’s hoping for. Claire is going to get closer to Holden and further from Kyle because he’s lost all grip on reality.

Young and the Restless: New Faces Bring Chaos to Genoa City

In other Young and the Restless spoilers for next week, Claire is out with Holden, and it looks like they’re having Vespers in LA — their usual drink inspired by James Bond. The person serving their drinks is none other than Tamara Braun. She’s making her Y&R debut next week as Sienna Bacall. She’s someone who knows Holden from when he lived full-time in LA back when Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) was around before the Dumas drama began. Guess what? This new character also knows Audra.

Sienna chats up Holden and Claire, asking if they’re a couple. Holden says they’re just really good friends, and Sienna quips that anyone is better than the last woman Holden was hanging around with — calling her “Audrey something.” That gets Claire smirking. Sienna seems like an interesting addition — Tamara Braun’s great, having appeared on General Hospital, Days of Our Lives, and other soaps.

Young and the Restless: Noah Newman Recast and Family Turmoil

We’ve got another new face next week when Lucas Adams makes his recast debut as Noah Newman. He’s another one who also came from Days of our Lives. Fun fact: Tamara Braun played his mom there, so it’s fun they’re both joining Y&R together. If you recall, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) were supposed to head to LA together, but he sent Sharon ahead to see Noah because Nick got stuck in Genoa City dealing with the Cane crisis. Next week, spoilers say Sharon calls Nick, crying hysterically and saying Noah’s been in a really bad car accident. Nick will likely jump on a plane to LA to be with his family.

It’s pretty safe to say Noah survives since Y&R just announced Lucas Adams’ casting, but there might be more to the story than a simple car accident. Maybe Noah got caught up with the wrong people in the nightclub industry, leading to the wreck. That may tie into the third new face debuting next week — Detective Burrows, played by the handsome Matt Cohen.

Fans might recognize him from General Hospital or Supernatural. He debuts Thursday and could soon be questioning Sharon and Nick about the accident. Plus, Roger Howarth is expected soon as another new arrival — his debut’s set for late October or early November as sweeps begin.

Young and the Restless: Cane’s Legal Firestorm and Phyllis’s Plot

Also coming up, Cane tells Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) he’s suing Newman Media for defamation. Cane’s got something up his sleeve and offered Chelsea an exclusive. They report this to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), who’s totally unconcerned. But Cane promises the next story they run will have a very different outcome.

Chelsea and Adam are worried, even if Victor isn’t. Cane and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) are cooking up something big. They were backing off before, but after that hit piece, Cane’s fired up for payback. Expect to see the big reveal of their plan next week. Meanwhile, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) plans to leave Genoa City soon for medical treatment in London.

She told Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) she’s stepping away, meaning Cane must handle his PR crisis alone, and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) must face the fallout from his choices solo. Young and the Restless: Spoilers Sally Spectra’s Shocking Confession and Billy Abbott’s Plea

We’re going to start with Sally and what she is confessing and to whom. As this week ended, it seems that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) finally got a clue and he begs Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to make up instead of break up. I’m sorry, I just don’t buy Billy backtracking on the revenge. He insisted to Sally though that she is the most important thing in his life. Billy says he’ll stop the revenge games, put her first, get the funding back for AbbottComm, and he will work for Sally at their new startup.

Against all odds, when Billy went through all this, Sally actually believed it. Billy wasted no time in getting their relationship back on track over drinks at the Jazz Lounge. He was toasting Sally, insisting he will choose her over Chancellor. Billy knows he’s got to give all this up if he wants to prove himself and keep Sally. So she warned him he better never put her second or third again. He gets it and tells her, “No, I’m choosing you. I’m turning away from all of it.”

Sally is noticing that all of a sudden Billy says all the right things and he’s saying he’s obsessed with her, not revenge. He won’t give her up. Billy is also pressing Sally to move in with him, but she wants to take things slow, which is smart. Billy does get her back into bed, which is kind of dumb for her. I mean, she cares about him. So, it seems like Sally and Billy are at the moment on the same page, destined for a happily ever after.

Things Take Turn for Sally & Billy on Y&R

However, it sounds like something is about to go seriously wrong between Sally and Billy again because official Young and the Restless spoilers for next week have Sally on a video call with Billy’s mom, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton). I don’t think we’ve ever seen them interacting like that unless it was for business reasons. So, that’s who Sally is making the confession to. She’s got two things to say to Jill. First, Sally says that she’s fallen in love with Billy.

I’m sure Jill will be happy to hear that he’s got a woman in his life. But then Sally tells Jill they have a real problem. So, there’s a slim chance that Billy is not going to go off the rails again already. Maybe Sally just wants to warn Jill that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) has this awful AI and that he’s posing a threat to Billy and other people Jill cares about. Sally may be just giving her an informational call. Or maybe Billy screwed things up again already. We’ll have to wear wait and see.

Michael Baldwin’s Tense Confrontation with Cane Ashby

Now, let’s talk about Michael Baldwin (Christian Leblanc) because at the end of this week, Cane has a serious chat with him after Cane rejects Victor Newman‘s (Eric Braeden) blackmail and The Mustache walks out. Michael is playing dumb about why Victor was there, even though he knows. Cane tells him he rejected a deal from Victor. Michael then says Victor warned him about working for Kane and asks if Victor was right to warn him.

Michael also is asking for details about Cane’s plan, and he wants to know if Cane sees himself as a villain or a hero. So, Michael sidesteps the question and just says that everybody’s worried about what Cane is going to do to Genoa City’s top companies. Cane keeps pressing him, and then finally, the lawyer confesses to Cane that he doesn’t want him hurting the people he cares about. So, Michael warns Cane, “Stop it or I will stop you.”

Michael is prodding him about, “Are you doing these things to try and impress Lily Winters?” Cane says that Michael is not who he thought he was, and he fires him. Cane doesn’t want to pay Michael to see him working against him. However, Cane does say that he respects Michael as a man.

So he gets why he’s doing what he’s doing, but he’s not going to have him sabotaging and undermining him. Michael warns Cane he’s going to fight him and he is not going to let him target the people he cares about. He lets him know that even if he’s not working for Cane, he’ll still be working against him from the outside, if not from the inside.

Lauren Fenmore’s Doubts and Sharon Newman’s Upcoming Storyline

Next week, despite Michael getting the heave-ho from Cane, it looks like Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) is having a moment. She has been pushed too far. She thought Michael was lying, but then Lauren calmed down after he came clean and said that he took this job with Cane, but he’s trying to stop a war in Genoa City and keep the peace.

But next week, Lauren is with her friend Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and she’s venting. She’s very unhappy. Lauren tells Nikki that she really loves Michael, but she’s just not sure if she can go on this way. So, it seems like Lauren doesn’t like Michael being under the thumb of a powerful villain. It doesn’t matter if that villain is Victor or Cane, who interestingly seems to see himself as the hero of this story.

So, I wonder if Nikki is going to tell Lauren about Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) proposing a truce with Victor and asking him to help target Cane together. Something must happen with Michael to push Lauren too far. Maybe he comes home and says he’s not working for Cane anymore.

But before Lauren can pull out the champagne, Michael may tell her what he told Cane: that he’s still going to target him. He’s still going to work against him, but Michael’s going to do it without getting a paycheck from either Victor or Cane. So, it sounds like things are getting really messy. I do hope Lauren calms down and she and Michael survive this. Fingers crossed.

Tessa Porter’s Crossroads

All right, next. We have not seen Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) in a hot minute, but she has scenes next week with Tessa. Sharon has got a major storyline coming up where she and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) head to LA to see their son Noah Newman (Lucas Adams). There’s a big story arc there with three new characters introduced, and Noah is opening a club in LA and winds up in some sort of danger.

But before Sharon heads to LA with Nick next week, the coffee shop owner chats up her daughter-in-law Tessa. Sharon is telling Tessa maybe she should give this thing that she’s proposing a little more thought. Tessa tells Sharon that this is all she has thought about. Clearly, this is about what Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) talked about.

And then what Daniel and Tessa talked about: that Mariah tried to kill somebody. It wasn’t self-defense, and Mariah is leaving town, doesn’t know if she’ll be back, wants Daniel to watch over them. Anytime that Sharon has tried to get Mariah to open up to her, we’ve seen her daughter get mad and threaten to cut Sharon out of her life. So at least she’s talking to somebody.

Young and the Restless: Tessa Demands Answers?

Mariah has already pushed Tessa away, but it looks like her wife is going to try one last time to hold things together. Tessa tells Sharon that going to get answers may be the only way to save Mariah and their marriage. So, I’m assuming this is about Tessa’s plan to go to the hotel where Mariah is staying and dig in and try and force some answers about exactly what happened, why it happened, what’s happening.

Daniel has already agreed to go along and help Tessa in whatever way he can, but it definitely has me wondering if Mariah and Tessa are doomed, and they’re really going to bounce her over to Daniel. Young and the Restless spoilers tease trouble for two couples and a potential romantic opportunity brewing for two more including Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). We’re going to talk about who’s falling in love and who’s falling out of love.

Sally Spectra & Billy Abbott: A Relationship on the Brink on Young and the Restless

The first couple that looks seriously shaky this week is Sally and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). They had been doing great, and recently, Sally received a great gift of trust from Billy.

He agreed she’d be CEO of AbbottCom while he was off chasing his Chancellor dreams. He even invited Sally to move in with him. Things were going so well, which means, of course, it’s time for Billy to take a big risk and screw up his relationship with her as he always does.

This week, things take a turn after Cane canceled Billy and Sally’s launch party for AbbottCom. He said Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) would just take it from them anyway. He’s out to destroy the Abbotts and wants Cane’s groundbreaking AI program to do it.

But Cane offered Billy the AI software to use against Victor. And we know Billy wants to get Chancellor out of Victor and Nikki’s hands. Plus, Billy’s also been itching to get revenge on Victor for years of ill-treatment.

But Sally sees through Cane and hits Billy with an ultimatum. If he does this deal, Sally’s going to leave the company, and their relationship is over. I think she may walk out on him soon. That’s the first split.

Kyle Abbott & Claire Newman: A Relationship Plagued by Deceit on Y&R

The second split I see coming is Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin), even though it hasn’t happened yet. We’ve seen Kyle break Claire’s trust in him when he kissed Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) in France.

Even worse, Kyle did it half-naked, and Claire still doesn’t know that little detail. The worst part is Audra told Claire the truth while Kyle lied to her face about the incident. Then, when Claire asked for a minute to process, Kyle got impatient and proposed.

Now Claire knows Kyle was also hiding the $5 million contract he signed for Victor. So, Claire doesn’t trust him anymore. Meanwhile, she’s getting closer to Holden Novak (Nathan Owens).

I just don’t see Claire and Kyle lasting much longer. In the end, for all those reasons, she may dump Kyle. That would be the second split that I’m expecting on The Young and the Restless in coming days.

New Romances Brewing in Genoa City: Phyllis Summers and Cane Ashby?

Now, let’s talk about two new romantic pairings that we could be getting on Young and the Restless soon. The first new couple I could see coming out of all of this is Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) with Cane Ashby.

We know Phyllis is supposed to be getting a new love interest. Plus, according to headwriter Josh Griffith, she also gets a work win. So, Cane could cover both bases – giving her professional success and the personal love interest all in one package.

Yes, Cane told her he’s done with revenge when he’s not. But at the same time, she’s been giving Cane really good advice about how to get back in good with his kids, Maddie and Charlie, who are very upset.

This week, Cane’s whispering to Phyllis about them owning the town together. Plus, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is done with him. So, I could see Phyllis and Cane blurring the lines between business and pleasure and getting together as a new couple on Y&R.

Holden & Claire Newman: A Fresh Start for a Budding Romance on Young and the Restless?

The second potential new couple I want to talk about is Holden and Claire. He has a crush on Claire and she can’t trust Kyle. Pus, Holden and Claire have a vibe, they have chemistry. I feel like their growing friendship and Kyle’s missteps set the stage for new romance.

It also didn’t help that Kyle told Holden to stay away from Claire. That made her mad because, as far as Claire can see, this whole mess and all of the unhappiness in her life right now is down to Kyle.

Are we getting two break-ups and shakeups and also two new couples on Young and the Restless? Wait to see.

Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) could be dead. Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) is a suspect, among others, and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is investigating. There are some intense new spoilers to talk about.

We’re going to dive into whether Cane killed his romantic rival Damian, or if somebody else did it, and who Chance is grilling as part of the murder mystery that we were promised and they’re delivering on. We’ve got lots of good stuff for the week of July 14th on Y&R.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Cain’s Jealousy and Lily’s Rejection

So, by the end of this week on Young and the Restless, Cane is really losing it because he wants to be with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). She keeps rejecting him, and then even worse, Damian, his former employee, winds up in bed with Lily. She is moving on without Cane. He doesn’t stand a chance with her. He never did. But then everything’s going to shift.

Y&R Spoilers: The Necklace and a Moment of Sorrow

So, after Lily kissed Damian again in front of her ex-husband Cane, that seemed to kind of break something inside of him. Lily took Damian off to her train car, slid into the sheets with him, and Cane pulled this necklace out of his shirt.

And I saw some people on Soap social media asking what’s the significance of the necklace he had. It’s not the chain, it’s what was on it. After watching Lily leave with Damian, Cane pulled out a chain and it had his wedding band on it.

They showed it just for kind of a brief second, and some of the screenshots and pictures is not terribly clear, but it is distinctly a wedding band. The band he wore back when he was married to Lily. So, it was kind of like Cane was just having this little moment of sorrow, and then the implication is that he completely snaps in jealousy because then next week things take a turn.

Did Cane Poison Damian? Unraveling the Y&R Murder Mystery

Damian and Cane run into each other in the maze. They are having a drink, and Damian asks Cane if he’s trying to poison him because he’s jealous about Lily. Cain reassures Damian and says, “No, we’re both drinking the same stuff.” And then Cane says, “No, no, cuz I’d be poisoning us both.”

Then Damian seems to have some sort of reaction to what he drank. And it looks like he’s maybe losing consciousness. Cane’s like, “What’s going on?” At a glance, it does look like he poisoned Damian while the two men were alone in a fit of jealousy over Lily. But there’s a few things to consider. One, Damian’s not really dead.

You know, this is just one of those cleverly edited promos and you know, he’s fine and somebody else is killed. So, two, the poison or whatever it is was meant for Cane not for Damian. That’s another thing to consider. If you remember, Cain brought Chance there because he said somebody’s trying to kill him.

And since Cane told Damian they were drinking the same thing, the poison, if indeed someone is poisoned right there, might have been in the glass, not in the liquid. You know, maybe Cane just happened to grab the non-poison glass and Damian grabbed the one that was actually meant for Cane. Of course, if it is Damian that dies, it looks bad because he just slept with Lily and everybody knows that Cane wants Lily back. But the fact that Cane brought Chance there because of a potential death threat calls everything into question.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: The Newman’s Knowledge and a Plan B – Exploring Cane’s Motives

I do have to mention, you know, Damian might not be dead for a couple of reasons. Now that Cane knows that the Newman’s know that he left and went to Genoa City and was buying up real estate properties and he has a minion there. And of course, Cane knows all this because Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) told him, the Newman’s know that could be the big motivation for what’s turning into a murder mystery next week.

So Cane might have already had this as like a plan B or a plan C in his back pocket to buy more time to keep everyone trapped there at the chateau while he’s got Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) doing his dirty work back in their hometown.

You know, I mean, it’s not for nothing that Chance is there and that Cane brought him. It all feels like a big setup. He’s supposed to be this master manipulator and all this. So, you have to think a little deeper and wonder if the Y&R writers are being, you know, clever with these edits on the promos and things like that.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Chance’s Investigation and Cane’s Scheme – A Convenient Setup?

So, Chance is starting up a full-blown murder investigation next week, which means nobody at the chateau can leave. So, that feels pretty convenient for Cane right? We’ll see if it is or not, but that’s what it feels like. What’s crazy about this also is that Chance has no jurisdiction in France be investigating anything. He is a Genoa City cop. Nobody in France has to listen to him or stay there to be questioned by him. But this is what we’ve got. So if this is some sort of scheme by Cane to keep his unwilling guest there longer, a couple of things could happen.

The promo’s misleading and somebody else has died or Damian appears to have died, but he’s not dead, you know. And it could be that Cane gave Damian something to knock him out. Has his henchman Carter and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) stash him somewhere? Maybe he is going to blackmail Damian to stay quiet and play dead. Cane might have some sort of leverage he can hold over Damian. Some sketchy business thing from his past when he was Dumas.

Maybe Cane has access to some special cancer treatment that would be some kind of big help to Damian’s mom. Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) tells him, you know, play dead for a week and I’ll get you this experimental treatment or something. Cane’s dad, Colin, was sick and died not too long ago, so Cane may have built up some medical connections.

You know, I think Damian could be talked into playing dead for a week or so, but we’ll see how it goes. Uh, you know, we’ll know when the full roster of our spoilers is out next week. It would kind of suck for Lily to finally get a a new man in her life and in her bed and then he dies right after they do the deed. That’d be terrible.

Peeping Through the Bushes: Who’s Watching Kane and Damian?

Also, next week when Cane’s with Damian and the other man appears to have some reaction to whatever he drank, somebody is watching Kane with Damian. They’re nearby. They’re peeping through the bushes at the hedge maze.

And again, this could be contrived. It may be Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) because next week he’s having this confrontation scene with Phyllis. And Nick’s telling Phyllis, “Stop with all the stall tactics.” And she’s asking what he saw. So maybe Nick was peeping at them. Maybe Cane wanted them to be peeped at. I mean, he’s controlling everything and he has cameras everywhere.

Agatha Christie Style: Chance Gathers the Suspects

So later on, Chance gathers everybody in the train car, murder mystery style, Agatha Christie style, and Lily asks if Chance is calling this a murder, and he says, “Yeah, that’s what they’re looking at.” But Lily at the same time doesn’t look like she’s distraught, like her new lover just died. That’s why I’m kind of like, weird, you know? So, at the back of my mind, I’m also wondering if Damian’s fine and somebody else is dead and they just didn’t show him in the promo because in the promo, I also don’t think I saw Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and some others.

So, could be somebody disposable like Carter, the guy who’s Cane’s assistant. And again, we’ll know more when we get the full roster of weekly Y&R spoilers. I like Damian. I hope he’s not pushing up daisies at the chateau next week. Chance tells the assembled guest they’re going to that he’s going to talk to everybody privately about where they were, what they were doing over the last hour.

That appalls Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), who’s asking her ex-husband, Chance, if he’s going to interrogate them. Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) starts complaining that they’re all basically suspects in a murder investigation.

Young and the Restless saw Cole Howard (J Eddie Peck) dies this week, tragically, and that leaves Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) totally devastated and ripe for Holden Novak’s (Nathan Owens) scheme. Let’s get into how Cole’s death is the perfect chance for Holden to get even closer to Claire Grace Newman.

Young and the Restless: Cole Howard’s Tragic Death Rocks Genoa City

If you are current on your episodes, you know that Cole Howard, Claire Grace Newman’s father, is battling Legionnaires’ disease, which is a serious form of pneumonia. It’s very curable in real life, but Cole Howard’s case didn’t respond to antibiotics. So he came back to Genoa City to die.

After the hospital called Claire Grace Newman and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and said, “Get down here ASAP,” they rushed in. Cole Howard told them he was about to die and wanted to say goodbye to the love of his life and his daughter.

Claire Grace Newman’s Heartbreak and Regrets

Claire was so sad. She talked about not having enough time with Cole Howard and how much she wished for a father when she was little and growing up. But all she had was her psycho great aunt Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk).

Claire Grace Newman is so upset by the idea of Cole Howard dying that she runs out of the room in tears. She misses his actual death. Cole Howard tells Victoria Newman goodbye, and of course, she’s crushed. They share a last kiss, and then Cole Howard passes away on Young and the Restless.

That happens on Thursday this week. Of course, Claire is upset with herself that she didn’t stick around to see Cole take his last breath.

Victoria Newman Faces Loss as She Comforts Claire on Young and the Restless

This was hard because Claire Grace Newman never knew her parents growing up. Crazy Jordan kidnapped her as an infant. But Victoria Newman and Cole Howard were making up for lost time with Claire Grace Newman and also with each other. They had rekindled their romance after so many years apart.

Victoria Newman and Claire both thought they were going to have so much more time with Cole Howard—a lifetime.

So, understandably, Claire is falling apart at the seams.

Y&R Spoilers: Holden Novak’s Scheme Targets Claire Grace Newman

Meanwhile, Holden Novak has gotten marching orders from Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) to target her among others. When Holden told Cane Ashby how close he’d already gotten to Claire Grace Newman, his boss was super excited about that.

Cane Ashby is going to be excited because Holden Novak has got a target on her. Claire is really sad, twice as sad because she needs her boyfriend Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) there to lean on. But thanks to Cane, we’ve got Kyle Abbott stuck over in France with no cell service.

Claire can’t reach him. She can’t text him, nothing. She needs Kyle so much right now. Claire is going to leave him a pitiful sad voicemail, but who knows when he will get it.

Kyle Abbott’s Absence Leaves Claire Vulnerable

I suspect this is all perfect timing for Holden Novak, who may take full advantage of Claire’s grief.

Also this week, Holden Novak makes a move on another target that Cane Ashby gave him—Chelsea Lawson Newman (Melissa Claire Egan). But Holden is not going to make any progress with her.

It turns out Chelsea Lawson Newman did see him with Cane Ashby at Crimson Lights. It looks like she didn’t know, but she did. Chelsea thinks that Holden Novak is working her, and she’s figured it all out.

Holden Novak lied to Chelsea and tries to cover, but as a former con woman, Chelsea Lawson Newman knows a lie when she hears it. So Holden doesn’t stand a chance of forming any sort of fake friendship with Adam Newman‘s (Mark Grossman) lover.

Holden Novak and Chelsea Lawson Newman: No Match for a Con Artist

But Claire Grace Newman needs somebody right now. She’s an easier mark. She needs a shoulder to cry on.

If you remember the other day, Claire Grace Newman was in the park and so upset about her dad Cole Howard’s health crisis that she was having a panic attack. Guess who was there to talk her down? It was Holden Novak.

They went for drinks and talked it out.

Holden Novak Plays the Grief Card with Claire Grace Newman

So, you know, Claire’s going to be out somewhere, probably having another grief breakdown. Holden Novak may be in a position to be there for Claire again. Be that shoulder to cry on that she needs now.

I do think Holden Novak sincerely likes Claire as a friend because Holden was friendly with her even before Cane Ashby told him to be a little flirty, but really more of a friendly vibe.

Holden really wants to please Cane Ashby. He wants to keep those big fat paychecks rolling in.

So, unfortunately, I think Holden Novak will do whatever is necessary to get Cane the results he wants.

Audra Charles, Holden Novak, and Twisted Y&R Love Triangles

I am not getting a romantic vibe between Holden Novak and Claire because he’s still kind of fixated on Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). However, that doesn’t mean Holden wouldn’t take advantage of a situation with Claire Grace Newman.

I could see her grieving and then sharing drinks at the GCAC. Holden Novak should drink there for free since he arranged the purchase of it for Cane Ashby in secret.

If you remember, Holden dislikes Kyle Abbott and he’s jealous of him because of his past with Audra Charles.

Holden Novak would obviously like to have Audra Charles to himself. But he also knows if she and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) broke up, Audra might just make a play to get back with Kyle Abbott.

Drunken Decisions: Claire and Holden’s Risky Night at the GCAC

So Holden Novak may be hanging out with Claire when she’s upset, drinking while thinking about her poor tragically dead father. She gets a little drunk, tipsy drunk, something in there, on top of the grief.

Holden Novak takes advantage and winds up in bed with Claire Grace Newman in Holden’s room at the GCAC—something like that.

I could see something like that happening. Heck, Claire might wake up half-dressed in bed with Holden Novak and assume the worst. And he lets her assume it.

Let’s be real. It’d be really awful if Claire got drunk and Holden Novak had sex with her when she couldn’t consent.

Guilt, Secrets, and the Impact on Kyle Abbott and Claire on Young and the Restless

Now if they both got drunk together and Claire Grace Newman and Holden Novak had a messy, boozy one-night stand where neither was consenting, that’s messy. But it’s different than if Claire’s drunk and Holden was sober and targeting her, which would be utterly despicable.

But I do think he’s kind of awful, so maybe don’t count that out.

He knows Kyle Abbott is out of the country, so Holden Novak may comfort Claire, be that someone she needs at her low point, and things get out of hand.

Holden might not even have to take advantage. Claire could cross a line with Holden because she’s so upset and Kyle isn’t there.

Y&R Spoilers: Will Holden Novak and Claire Grace Newman Hook Up?

It’s pretty common for people to hook up after a loved one dies or after a funeral. It’s a life-affirming thing, according to psychologists.

Kyle Abbott is not around, so Holden might be the next best thing because Claire Grace Newman is not thinking clearly because of the grief.

You pour a little alcohol on that and you get a bonfire.

So if Holden gets Claire into bed one way or another, whether they do the deed or not, if Claire assumes they did, she’d feel guilty. She might confess to Kyle Abbott, come clean, which would set the groundwork for a breakup.

Cane Ashby’s Agenda: Using Holden to Shake Up Genoa City

We’ve also got summer spoilers for Audra Charles having old feelings bubbling up again, and that could be about Kyle Abbott since she seems totally turned off by Holden Novak. So wait to see.

If Claire Grace Newman winds up in bed with Holden Novak, you never know. Cane Ashby might give Holden a bonus.

It’s not entirely clear yet if Cane wants Holden Novak to get close to the people on the list to recruit them as allies, or set the stage to blow up their lives as collateral damage in the coming war of Cane vs. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

We’ll see how it all plays out.

Claire Grace Newman’s Next Move: Revenge or Redemption on Y&R?

I feel like Claire’s grief could make her an easy target, but she’s also got a wicked streak because of her crazy aunt and how she was raised.

If she found out Holden played her, he and Cane might need to watch their backs. No telling what Claire might do for revenge.

Young and the Restless sees Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) gearing up to make war on Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). And he just revealed a shocking list of targets that he plans to either use as allies or they could be collateral damage in the epic battle about to rip Genoa City apart. We’re going to see who Cane tasked Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) to target as the next phase of his attack on Victor begins.

Young and the Restless: Cane’s Sneaky Meeting and Suspicions in Genoa City

This week Cane crept out of France after telling everybody else that they are stuck because of the storm. He is in GC for a sneaky little meeting with Holden who is doing backdoor deals for his new boss Cane who’s also his old boss Dumas. So, the party guests are suspicious.

Victor, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), and others wonder what’s going on and what game Cane is playing by keeping them at the chateau in France. Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), his lawyer and co-conspirator, swears that Cane is a changed man. But I kind of think she knows better.

Amanda was told via text that Cane was headed for GC and to keep the guests distracted while he does his thing. And what his thing is involves Holden and some sketchy commercial real estate transactions back in town and also it involves a list of targets that Cane has in mind. So this meeting with Holden is the first time he’s ever laid eyes on Dumas in person and then Cane makes a proper introduction and tells him his real name.

The Truth About Holden’s Employment and Cane’s Plan

And it turns out that Cane really did have Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) fire Holden after Cane fired Damian. It was all part of the bigger plan. Then Cane contacted Holden directly not long after that. And ever since, secretly, Holden has only pretended to be unemployed and disgruntled and jobless.

This attitude that also explains why when Damian offered to get Holden a job at Winters, he pretended to be angry and called it a pity job. Because Cane had already given him a great job. I’m sure he’s paying him a big pile. Holden is Cane’s secret right-hand man, his eyes and ears in Genoa City. And that involves a list of people to target.

But first, Holden was busy buying up a bunch of real estate within the business district. Cane also told Holden at their meeting at Crimson Lights, he actually used to live in Genoa City and he tells Cane that he likes it there. Holden actually prefers it to LA and we’ve already seen that he’s done a lot of leg work for his sketchy boss.

Cane’s Strategic Targets: Mariah, Claire, Abby, Adam, and Chelsea on Young and the Restless

So Cane wants Holden to befriend certain people. These are key people, key strategic targets. But Cane is not going to tell Holden why he’s chosen these people. And when he starts asking questions, Cane will not answer them. And he warns Holden just follow orders, and don’t worry, whine and stop asking.

So, I’m sure Cane is paying him a pretty price for this. On this shocking list of targets is Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin), Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), and Chelsea Lawson Newman (Melissa Claire Egan).

So, Cane  is really pleased and impressed to hear that Holden has already gotten close to Claire. Now, I do think Holden was generally interested in Claire. Because he was already making friends with her way before Cane gave him this list of people to target. So, he wants Holden to get even closer to Claire and the others are very interesting choices as well.

All the targets are either Newman or Newman adjacent. Mariah is running Cassidy First. But it’s more about her ties to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). And of course, Claire is a Newman and working at Chancellor Industries as her grandma Nikki’s right-hand woman. Chelsea and Adam both work high up at Newman Media. And of course, Adam is a Newman and Abby of course, is a Newman as well.

Young and the Restless: The Newman Connection and Cane’s Possible Allies or Targets

So, with this list, Cane is targeting people who are either Victor’s kids or very close to them. Because Claire is Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) kid also in Newman, Adam is his son, Mariah is very close to Nick and of course Abby is the Newman that nobody ever thinks about. But she’s still a Newman.

Plus, as Cane was in GC tightening up his targets and getting Holden busy on making new strategic friendships, we’re left wondering why. So, are these people going to be possible allies that Cane wants? Or are they going to be targets of Cane‘s if they refuse to cooperate with him? And of course, at the beginning, they’re not even going to know. Because it’s Holden approaching them and nobody has tied them together.

Young and the Restless: Billy’s Alliance and the Winters Family Dilemma

So, back in France, there’s another alliance that Cane doesn’t even know that’s cooking. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) tells Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) he’s gonna offer himself up to Cane to team up against Victor and snatch Chancellor back from The Mustache.

So Cane has got a nice list of allies or possible targets for collateral damage depending on how things go with Holden. And of course, Victor is the primary target and I would say Damian is now a close second. Because of his and Lily’s growing attraction which Cane was asking Holden a bunch of questions about.

What’s interesting in all this is that the Winters family, they’re not fans of Victor after he screwed over Lily on the Chancellor deal. But Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) was once close to Victor and he and Lily really hate Cane. So the Winters may align with Victor. We’ll see.

The debate is I think they would see him as the lesser of two evils or the winners may initially act like Switzerland and stay neutral, you know. Because the Newman screwed Lily over so badly. But push comes to shove, I bet Devon and Lily side with the Newmans against Cane and Billy.

Young and the Restless: Chelsea’s Discovery and Adam’s Warning to Victor

So, Cane  is getting all his deceptive little ducks in a row using Amanda and Holden as his minions. But then there’s a wrinkle this week. Chelsea spots Cane at Crimson Lights after Holden leaves and she is shocked to see him back in Genoa City. So once Chelsea sees Cane and they chat, she gets really, really suspicious. As a former con artist, Chelsea can spot another con a mile away.

So, of course, she runs to tell Adam that Cane showed up out of the blue. That is going to send Adam racing to warn Victor. Because between the two of them, I bet Adam and Chelsea figure out that Kane must be Dumas. They do the math on him being a thorn in Victor’s side for 6 years, which is how long Cane’s been gone from town on Young and the Restless.

And then there he is while everybody else is gone. Adam is going to move heaven and earth to get to France. He’s going to be quite a sight when he gets to the Newman rail car all sweaty and out of breath.

The Aftermath: Hidden Cameras and Victor’s Strategy on Young and the Restless

But of course, giving him the news that Duma is Cane is old news by then. However, it is big news that Cane was back in GC and up to something. Fortunately for Cane, Holden was already gone from Crimson Lights before Chelsea spotted him. But also remember, there are hidden cameras in all the rail cars. So Amanda or Kane will notice that Adam has made it onto the hill. And them finding that out before they come and confront them might buy Kane a little time to strategize.

Once the guests know that Cane left the chateau and went back to GC, everything’s going to blow up in Cane’s face. Abby and Devon have already suggested they might be being held there as a distraction. Some people have wondered if their companies might be in danger. And this week, spoilers say Victor stays a step ahead of Cane. That could be thanks to Adam. But Cane clearly has a complex strategy with contingency plans in place. So, Victor knowing Cane was in Genoa City may only accelerate the plot, which would be nice, right?

Excitement for Cane’s Plans and Potential Karmic Slap for Victor

In the meantime, Holden is back in town getting closer to these people on the list. I’m super excited to see what Cane has planned. I honestly I thought he was a jerk six years ago when he left. Even though Daniel Goddard was truly hot, I thought Cane was just an a-hole. I didn’t like the way he treated Lily.

So, we’ll see if they have found a way to make him more likable or at least a more appealing villain. I mean, Victor has been behaving so badly for so long that I’ve been wanting him to get a karmic slap. So, maybe maybe that’ll be a fun thing to see Cane doing. But it’s not going to be too long before Y&R reveals why exactly this list of targets has been selected.

The Aftermath of the Storm: Victor, Nikki, Billy, and the Gang’s Return from France

So, we are wrapping up this week with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), and the gang stuck in France because of the storm.

But it looks like they’re all going to be back home, including Cane, next week at some point. So Josh Morrow promised us a murder mystery. He didn’t say if it was going to be in Genoa City or in France, but he said it was coming. So we’ll see where it manifests. It’s looking now like it’s going to be back in their hometown.

Cane’s Plan B and Nikki’s Worries: Chancellor Industries and Revenge Plots

So as this week on Y&R wraps up, Victor and Nikki are irritated because they can’t leave Cane’s French estate. And Victor is worried that Cane may have a plan B for getting a hold of Chancellor Industries and that they are being kept there sequestered for a reason. All true.

Nikki’s worried about Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), still wanting revenge for her and Victor doing Lily dirty when they snatched Chancellor, but Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) talked them down off that and says no, Lily doesn’t want anything to do with Cane. So that’s off the table. Not on the roster of concerns.

Lily’s Rejection and Retcon Dialogue: Exploring Relationships on Young and the Restless

It is painfully clear Lily despises Cane and she even kissed Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) at the end of the week to send a clear message to her ex that she’s moved on. And actually what’s really funny is that they are doing retcon stuff in the dialogue. If you listen on Friday’s episode when Cane is talking to Lily about a reconciliation and she’s talking about how they are not the young kids they used to be. Uh what?

She was 18 and he was like 30 or 31 when they were getting together. So they are trying to like dial it back because Billy Flynn is significantly younger than Daniel Goddard. You know, maybe when he lost that Australian accent, he lost years. But they’re definitely trying to restructure history when I think it’d be better if they just didn’t mention it instead of contradicting it.

Victor’s Concerns and Phyllis’ Nonsense: Alliances and Opportunities in Genoa City

Anyway, Victor is also worried that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) might team up with Cane against him, but Nikki thinks Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is more likely to do that. Meanwhile, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is talking out of her backside, telling the Newmans that she’s in on this big opportunity with Cane and how they’re going to be working together, blah blah.

Typical Phyllis’ nonsense. Although, I do think it’s going to manifest. It’s just that she’s making it up right now. Cane also tells both Victor and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) that, you know, he made the offer to buy Chancellor. Victor turned him down, so that’s that. It’s cool. No problem. They can relax. Not true.

Young and the Restless: Cane’s Real Co-conspirator and Adam’s Discovery – Unveiling the Nefarious Plan

Meanwhile, next week, Cane is back in Genoa City and meeting with his real co-conspirator, who is not Phyllis. Cane did an end run and he fired Damian and then made a side deal with Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) and he’s the one who’s been buying up all the real estate around the Newman and Abbott business holdings for some nefarious reason.

Cane wanted Holden doing it, so his name’s not on it. And Kane is asking Holden next week if anybody suspects what’s going on and he says no, they’re in the clear. That’s not quite accurate because Adam has figured out after doing some digging that somebody’s buying up all that real estate.

He tells Chelsea Lawson Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) he’s got to go tell Victor. I don’t know if he knows it’s Holden or he just suspects it’s Damian because at this point he doesn’t know it’s Cane because no phone service yada yada. So Adam’s got to go tell Victor because nobody in the Newman family is answering his calls and that’s because of that bad storm and possibly because Cane is jamming cell signals.

Adam’s Valiant Efforts and Devon’s Worries: Unraveling Cane’s Distraction

So, next week, watch for Adam to basically hike his way through torn up train tracks that were ravaged by the storm to get to Victor and drop the bombshell about what Kane is doing back in their hometown. By then, though, despite Adam’s valiant efforts, it may be too late. We’ll see. Next week, before everybody leaves for home, we’ve also got Devon telling Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) that he’s worried Cane is using this big party as a way to distract them from something. That’s accurate.

Devon is then pumping Cane’s lady lawyer for info, but he gets nowhere because Amanda claps back on Devon and says, “Even if that was the truth, why would I ever tell you?” You know, Amanda walked in on Devon banging Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) in their living room and Abby’s husband Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) was with her. So, they both got an eyefull. So yeah, Devon’s right to be worried because Amanda hates him and has Cane’s ear and doesn’t like Abby and you know Cane has given Amanda the means to clap back on him if she wants to.

Potential Payback and Foreshadowing: Cane’s Revenge and Claire’s Choice

And if Lily keeps rejecting Cane as I suspect she will then you know Cane might take aim at Winters and Chancellor both for payback. I think Amanda would love to take a shot at Devon. Also, we had Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) suffering that panic attack and Holden coming to her rescue this week and they’re doing some bonding and I think that’s foreshadowing who Claire is going to turn to if Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) does a bad thing and does that bad girl Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) in France.

Cole’s Battle with Legionnaire’s Disease and Holiday Preeemptions: Spoilers and Updates for Young and the Restless

So, next week we’ve got more on Claire. She and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) head back to Chicago to see Cole who is battling Legionnaire’s disease. He’s happy to see Victoria and Claire again and was afraid they wouldn’t make it back in time. What he means by that is he thinks he is dying. Cole is glad that they’re there to say goodbye before he kicks the bucket.

For the record, out of curiosity, I looked up to see how fatal Legionnaire’s disease is. Not very. It’s very treatable. It’s got like a 90 to 95% survivability rate in somebody Cole’s age who’s basically healthy. And even among high-risk individuals that are older or have co-morbidities, it’s like 70 to 80% survivable.

Young and the Restless: Cole the Victim?

So if Claire’s dad kicks the bucket, it would be against the odds. But it’s Y&R. I’m not entirely sure they know how to spell Google up in the writers room to check stuff out before they put it in scripts. The one thing I can think of is maybe Cole is our murder mystery victim and he’s been intentionally infected with some terribly virulent strain of something.

I don’t know why people would pick on Cole though because I’m also wondering if Chance is going to be the one to get a dirt nap because Connor Floyd quit Y&R. I don’t know why they would recast the role of Chance Chancellor because they barely use him anymore in storylines. It seems like that would be kind of a waste of budgetary resources.

Young and the Restless:

And also, so Friday is July 4th, the Independence Day holiday. It’s a complete and total tossup of whether we get a new or a rerun episode of Young and the Restless. last year, 2024, it was brand new on July 4th, but most years before that, because I was thinking it wasn’t new, that it was typically a rerun, and I dived back in just to double check, looking at recaps, and sure enough, it’s almost always an encore.

So, it’s very important that you check your DVR, you know, late Friday on Saturday, and if it is a rerun, delete it or your Monday episode might not record because they encode it with the episode number and the season number.

And if you already have one sitting on your DVR with that info, it won’t record the next one. It doesn’t actually know the content that’s aired. It only knows how it was listed in the program guide. Just if you wanted to understand the technicalities of why that happens because you’ll notice if you’ve got a preemption a lot of times your next day doesn’t record and that’s why.

Young and the Restless sees Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) going off the deep end, and his entire family thinks he’s going too far and needs to be stopped. But will they do something about it? Right now, in the wake of Michael Baldwin (Christian Leblanc) walking away from him, Victor has come totally unhinged. We’ve seen him going after Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), but now honestly, Victor’s worse than ever before, worse than he has been in quite a while.

We know he’s meddling in Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin)’s relationship with Kyle and he’s secretly scheming to break them up. He’s got Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) plotting to split them, and Claire has figured out that Victor and Audra are conspiring, but she’s got no idea the filthy extent of it.

Young and the Restless: Victor’s Vengeance

Right now, we’ve just got Victor being more vengeful than I can remember in recent years. He’s lashing out. He’s snapping at people, and it’s quite clear Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) can’t control Victor and she’s worried about how bad he’s going to get now that he doesn’t have Michael as the voice of reason.

And of course, Victor always going to do what Victor wants to do. But when Michael was working for him, to some extent, he could reign in Victor or try and mitigate the damage or buy some time. Michael was always trying to do things to get his boss to calm down and just to not listen to the devil on his shoulder. Michael was trying to be the angel on the other shoulder.

Victor Newman Revenge Spirals Out of Control on Y&R

Now, Nikki’s afraid Victor is going to focus more on coming between Claire and Kyle. And then Nikki went and told Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) about that. And their daughter wasn’t happy at all. So then we saw Victoria chewing out Victor about his meddling, and she basically threw down a gauntlet. Victoria threatened her dad that she would never forgive Victor if he interferes with Claire and Kyle’s relationship.

So, Victoria is already furious, and she’s got firsthand experience about what his meddling does because Victor has messed with most of her relationships. He has ruined most of her marriages. Victoria doesn’t want this for Claire.

And of course, Nikki agrees with Victoria, and she doesn’t want Victor interfering with Kyle and Claire but Nikki’s a lot gentler with Victor than his kids are. And Nikki lets a lot of stuff slide that she probably shouldn’t. So, Victoria already told Victor where she stands, so her dad’s been warned.

Will Claire Stand Up to Victor’s Control?

And then there’s Claire, who Victor could very well lose if he’s not careful. And of course, we know Claire adores her grandfather and she’s so happy to finally have her biological family and to have their acceptance. So, Victor and his approval means a whole lot to her.

But at the same time, Claire spent her whole upbringing being controlled by revenge crazy great aunt Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk). And no, Victor is not quite as bad as Jordan but he is definitely also revenge crazy. And I just don’t think Claire is going to tolerate anybody trying to control her life like that again, no matter how much she loves Victor.

I think that what we’ll see is that Claire is only going to tolerate so much from Victor  before she pushes back hard. And if Claire has to walk away from Victor at least for a minute to give him a reality check about what his actions could cost him, I think Claire might do it. I think she’s got more backbone than most of the other Newmans combined. And Victor could very well lose Victoria and Claire both because of his hardline stance.

Young and the Restless: Adam Caught Between Victor and Chelsea

And then there’s Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) who’s stuck between a rock and a hard place. He just brought Chelsea Lawson Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) on as his COO at Newman Media. Victor’s plan is to try and destroy Billy’s new company, AbbottCom, just as it’s launching, using Newman Media as a tool of destruction. And that’s already causing friction between Adam and Chelsea.

And of course, Victor wants Adam to be his obedient little lap dog and do whatever he says. Victor wants to use Newman Media as a weapon against Billy and the other Abbotts and against all his perceived enemies. But of course, Chelsea has a moral code. I mean, it’s newer, but it’s still there.

She doesn’t want to be ruthless and devious. That’s not what she stands for anymore, despite her conwoman and sketchy past. Plus, there’s the fact that Chelsea still feels really guilty that she and Adam cheated on Billy and Sally. So, of course, Chelsea doesn’t want to go after the business they’re starting.

But Victor, he doesn’t care. And he told Adam, “Look, your loyalty is to me, your father, before Chelsea,” even though Victor’s the one that wanted them reunited. So, Adam’s struggling because he doesn’t want to lose Chelsea because of Victor’s extreme antics. He and Chelsea just started their relationship over. They’re in a really good place right now. So, of course, Adam doesn’t want Victor to ruin things for them.

And for that reason alone, I could see Adam either in a position where he feels like he has to walk away from Newman Media or give Victor an ultimatum. Stop pushing me or I’ll quit and walk away from Newman Media. I mean, Adam’s rich anyway, but also he can get a job somewhere else like Jabot. Speaking of aggravating his dad, and of course, Victor would be furious if he left, but he’s the one who’s pushing Adam and just may push Adam too far in coming days.

Young and the Restless: Will the Newman Family Unite Against Victor?

And so, right now, other son Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is on Victor’s side, but that could change. We heard Nick assuring his dad that he can trust him, but at the same time, Nick doesn’t want a war either, and he is amicable with Jack and others. Nick doesn’t want Victor going after the Abbotts, and neither does Nikki. So, with Michael gone, it’s kind of up to them to tap the brakes or at least try. So, Nick might get on board with Nikki and his siblings and agree that they need to do something about Victor.

The Mustache is going to keep lashing out until something or someone stops him. Victor’s not going to stop on his own. And I do suspect something goes down at Nikki’s birthday party. We know the party is not going to get Victor to accept Kyle like Claire wants. And if anything, it might have the opposite effect. And of course, Claire’s going to be devastated.

So, she might lead the charge against Victor. She might rally her mom Victoria, grandma Nikki, and her uncles Adam and Nick to rebel against their patriarch. They might stand together as a united front and hit Victor with just a statement. Stop the crazy behavior or you’re going to lose everybody. That might be a harder sell for Nikki who is Victor’s chief enabler.

So, she’d be the one they’d have to talk into really standing with them. But maybe if the kids and grandkids and Adam push on her, Nikki might actually stand with them and let Victor know they all think he’s out of control and that he can’t keep manipulating everybody or he’s going to lose everybody.

Young and the Restless: Potential Showdown at Nikki’s Party?

We’ll see if there’s a showdown at Nikki’s party because Victor’s getting dangerously close to pushing his entire family away. Will they finally take a stand against the great Victor or will he keep alienating them and them keep enabling him? I’m hoping for a showdown.
