2025 Aston Martin Vantage facelift debuts with 656 hp V8 engine

Six years since the current generation Aston Martin Vantage arrived on the global scene, the baby Aston has been given a major makeover. The brand’s entry-level sports car now gets a redesigned exterior, a revamped interior and a more powerful V8 engine.

The 2025 Aston Martin Vantage gets an updated front fascia, heavily inspired by the DB12. The front grille has grown in size, and along with the reprofiled headlamps, adds a fresh look to the car’s front fascia. The overall shape of the Vantage remains the same, with subtle updates like new bumpers and a slightly redesigned tail section.

The interior of the car gets a major update though. The sleek-looking dashboard now features a large centre console and a touchscreen, while a new 3-spoke steering wheel and digital instrument console greet the driver.

Under the bonnet, the 2025 Vantage gets a Mercedes-sourced 4.0-liter V8, which now produces 656 hp. That’s 153 hp more than the outgoing version. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, which sends power to the rear axle via an electronic limited-slip differential. The new Vantage is said to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 202 mph.

The new Vantage features a stiffer chassis with new Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers, a shorter final drive ratio on the differential, and software updates are among the plethora of changes made to the car. It comes with steel brakes as standard, but customers do get the option of carbon ceramics.

Aston Martin is yet to announce the pricing for the 2025 Vantage, however, deliveries will commence in Q2 2024.
