Taylor Swift Makes Historic Win at the 2024 Grammys

With winning 12 Grammys already under her belt, Taylor Swift is now going home with two more, and making history in the process. The singer won Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2024 Grammys, during which she announced her upcoming album, The Tortured Poet’s Department. But just when we thought that would be the biggest shock of the night, Swift made history by winning Best Album of the Year for her album Midnights. She is the first artist to win the award four times, making her the holder of the most Grammys for Album of the Year.

In between attending her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s football games and heading out on the Asia leg of The Eras Tour, Swift hit the red carpet at the 2024 Grammy Awards in a custom white Schiaparelli gown with a thigh-high slit and long black gloves.

Swift’s album announcement was only somewhat of a surprise for eagle-eyed fans. While many took her new black and white profile picture as a clue that she would be announcing Reputation (Taylor’s Version). However, it seems the “Karma” singer has something even bigger up her sleeve.

“I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret I’ve been keeping from you for the last two years,” Taylor teased in her acceptance speech.

The Tortured Poet’s Department, which drops April 19, is now available for presale on Swift’s website, including a collector’s edition CD that is available for the next three days. The standard edition of the album will consist of 16 tracks, with “The Manuscript” as the bonus track on the deluxe edition.
