In the Valentino salon overlooking Place Vendôme, Pierpaolo Piccioli and his atelier presented “Le Salon,” a collection that captures the uniqueness of couture while remaining in touch with reality. With special guests like Jennifer Lopez, Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Florence Pugh, and Nadia Lee Cohen in attendance, it was a star-studded event in honor of Haute Couture tradition and contemporary innovation.
On the runway, the emotional intensity of the collection was made clear through a complex and imaginative palette—contrasting chromatic colors coexisting in perfect harmony, voluminous pieces redefining the female silhouette, various textures, heaviness and lightness, and prestigious finishes. The show also featured exotic styles, fusions of fur and feathers, and hand-cut silk organza and sequins.
Some of the standout pieces of the collection include capes of three-dimensional flowers, light and meticulously embroidered dresses, feathered bodices, and tailored blazers and coats. Piccioli reiterated the importance of handmade styles which were executed with the excellence of the Roman maison. With a simultaneous return to craft and departure for modernity, “Le Salon” was a majestic celebration of wonder and the act of creation.
