New NYC Store Openings in 2024

We may only be two months into 2024, but luxury brands are already finding new ways to make shopping in New York irresistible with new store openings from SoHo to Fifth Avenue. Between beloved favorites making a long-awaited comeback to brand new boutiques, the Big Apple is poised to redefine the shopping experience yet again with some freshly designed spaces. Whether you’re a seasoned fashionista or a casual browser, the city’s diverse array of new offerings ensures that shopping in New York remains as vibrant and dynamic as ever. Ahead, find all the new stores to explore. Who knows, you might find yourself spending a whole day in one (or all) of them.

Chanel Watches & Fine Jewelry

Just in time to kick off New York Fashion Week, Chanel opened its Watches & Fine Jewelry flagship on Fifth Avenue—the Mecca of shopping in New York. Not only is this the luxury fashion house’s first NYC store dedicated to watches and jewelry, but its first in the United States. Designed by architect Peter Marino, the two-story boutique is home to some exclusive High Jewelry offerings, as well as pieces from some of Chanel’s most iconic collections. Whether you end up purchasing a few treasures or not, visiting the black and gold jewelry box-inspired boutique is simply a must.

Gucci

For months, shopping in New York felt a little incomplete because of Gucci’s notable absence in SoHo. But in honor of the launch of Ancora, Sabato De Sarno’s debut collection as creative director, Gucci opens its newly renovated SoHo boutique at 63 Wooster St on February 10. The 10,000 square feet space features a screening room and in-store augmented reality Gucci app to personalize the customer experience, as well as the Gucci Wooster Bookstore which offers titles about contemporary art and photography and a rotating list of out-of-print works.

Valentino

This February, Valentino finally reopened its doors in SoHo, but with a new address. The Italian fashion house unveiled a new SoHo boutique at 98 Prince St, which features the brand’s latest collections, including the Spring/Summer 2024 ready-to-wear collection, the men’s “The Narratives” collection, and Valentino Garavani accessories. True to Valentino fashion, the interior takes inspiration from geometric Art Deco motifs and imperial Roman architecture.
