This $23.35 Million Los Angeles Condo Has Panoramic Views of the City – Robb Report

It’s easy to see why The Weeknd and Ellen DeGeneres fell in love with Beverly West, a boutique condo building in L.A.’s Westwood neighborhood. While DeGeneres sold up several years ago and The Weeknd recently sold his 18th-floor penthouse back in August, another penthouse in the building, which spans the entire 20th floor, recently came to market for $23.35 million, making it one of the highest-priced condos currently on the market in L.A.

Beverly West has just 35 residences, and as part of the building’s exclusive penthouse collection, the spacious unit is a crown jewel of the 22-story building. Like living in a mansion in the sky, the penthouse is much larger than most people’s single-family homes; the 8,215-square-foot home has four bedrooms, four full bathrooms, and two powder rooms, as well as light-filled living spaces.

Ideal for privacy seekers and seclusion lovers, the penthouse has a private elevator that opens up directly into the foyer. Beyond the foyer is the expansive great room, with a sumptuous living area, dining table, and marble bar. The entire floor is wrapped in floor-to-ceiling windows with incredible views that stretch over the city, canyons, and mountains. There’s a custom kitchen designed by the renowned Antonio Citterio for Arclinea and Miele appliances. Thoughtfully tucked away from the main living and entertaining areas, the kitchen has a wall of windows to enjoy the view while you or your staff are cooking up a favorite meal.

To capitalize on the far-reaching vistas and bird’s-eye views of the sunrise and sunsets each day, Beverly West’s developer Emaar tapped award-winning interior designer Lisa Garriss of Plum Design West to curate a turnkey space with bespoke furniture and top-of-the-line appliances and fixtures. The sale includes all of the furniture pieces hand-selected by Garriss, who sourced pieces from top manufacturers such as Giorgetti, B&B Italia, Armani Casa, Poltrona Frau, and more. There are also custom-designed, hand-knotted rugs by Woven and fixtures from Vola, Dornbracht, Fantini, and Kallista.

A corridor connects each wing of the house. The bedrooms are separate from the living spaces to ensure the ultimate privacy, and the primary suite is on a corner with a private balcony. Meanwhile, the modern primary bathroom features standalone dual vanities with uninterrupted views of L.A. The marble-lined bathroom also has a freestanding tub and massive glass-enclosed shower. The walk-in closets are reminiscent of a designer boutique. The additional bedrooms feature ample closet space and en-suite bathrooms.

The bright and airy home features wide-plank, white-oak wood floors by Cora of Italy and locally fabricated custom natural wood veneer millwork walls that bring an organic sensibility into the cosmopolitan building. The light changes beautifully throughout the day, and by sunset, the penthouse is awash in pink and orange sunlight.

The property is listed by Tomer Fridman of The Fridman Group International.
